Will absolutely NEVER bring my family back into this facility again. We've had poor experiences before, but this last incident was the final straw. My autistic son was removed from the facility for simply pushing an 8/9 year old child away from my 4 year old after being physically assaulted. The manager did not notify myself, or the other adults within our party that there was an issue until nearly 15 minutes later. This woman chased my autistic son in circles, berated him in front of other children, and scared the daylights out of him. So much so, that he went into hiding and neither myself nor my sister could get him to come down. It is absolutely unacceptable and against their policy to address children without notifying the adult first. It's also policy to allow a child back into the play structure accompanied by an adult after an incident, but she told us we had to LEAVE. We spent nearly $200 as a family including admission and food/beverages. Three other children came to the defense of my child, clearly stating he did not physically harm anyone--he simply protected a toddler. The staff here NEVER patrols the play area, and parents are left to intervene with violent, misbehaved children. It was noted that they did not even SEE my son in an altercation. Someone explain to me how it's okay for a child 3x my toddler's size to put hands on him, and my AUTISTIC child gets reprimanded for doing THEIR JOB? I contacted the owners of this facility, and the manager seemingly told her version of the story and not the truth. All we wanted was a refund, considering our entire party had to exit the structure and they refused. The owners of the facility also neglected to respond to my final email, which shows lack of care/class. As a business owner myself, I am absolutely disgusted by what happened. Who would have thunk that a play place would have such yummy pizza! So far since moving here this is the best pizza we have found! Reminds me of "godfathers" pizza sent me so far back into childhood and it was great! The staff is great, we haven't played yet as our little is still just a little too little we are already thinking this place is gonna be where we have her next bday party! It does get very busy on weekends but during the week it's pretty chill and the food is always good! read more

We are visiting from CA and happened to stumble upon here on their opening day! The staff is very friendly and answered all our questions and were super sweet with our boys. Play structure is a good size and clean! They clean it 3x a day. They also have staff that is moving through the play area keeping tabs on everything. Bonus! They have food AND beer and wine!! Huzzah! We have gone to a ton of play spaces CA this one is way above any of those. Too bad we don't live here :( read more

Playdate is a great place to grab coffee! Their lattes are *chef's kiss! The staff is super sweet and awesome!

They are admittedly understaffed. We've stopped by 4 times over the last 3 weeks and every single time be at 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. Z child-proof gate that's meant to keep the children in the play area and keep him from running out into the mall was unlocked and propped open. they do this, they explain to me, because they don't have enough stuff to have a dedicated counter person operating the door as well as a shift manager and someone in the kitchen. I did watch the owner sit out front and work on his MacBook while the one employee who was responsible for running the kitchen and taking payment etc ran around like crazy. It made no sense. I have to be honest, I've watched these places come and go since tube time. In over 20 years I have yet to see one of these places failed to provide a secure play area. This place is divided into free 3/4 Cafe and 1/4 play space. I can work with their no outside food and drink rule but ... unsafe is unsafe. Until they can hire enough people to make sure that kids can't't randomly wander into the cafe or mall while I'm ordering their lunch, we won't be back. If they can't hire enough people to watch the door to let the kids in and out with the buzzer system they have, I'm more than happy to keep traveling north to the awesome place bases just across the border in White Rock and Langley. It's worth the peace of mind and superior facilities. I'm still holding out hope for a play space here in Bham that can go the distance. read more

My sister booked this place for my nephew's birthday party. We got the whole place to ourselves as a private party. So nobody else could come inside the business. They only allow that on weekdays and at certain times. They have a huge like cafe area with tables and chairs and also several party rooms that are separate which we used one for cake time and presents. The play area is really fun. The kids had a blast, I even went in and played for a few minutes with the kids. The food was good too. We got pizza and an appetizer tray with fries, chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs, and tater tots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My sister brought a cake and they kept it in a fridge for us tell we were ready to serve it. read more

I was so excited this place was opening up!! I kept checking in to their FB page in anticipation of their official opening date so my family could plan a special trip just to take the kids here to play. So I had really high expectations for this place. There's a lot of good potential to this place but a lot of things I think they could probably work on. Pretty big play area with space enough for adults to join/follow their kids around. Amen to no more constant crouching down and sore backs just to enjoy tome with your kids! Play area is gated off so little kids can't just run away. But it's not fully child-proofed or supervised so my 4 year old could easily reach over the gate and let herself out. There's a small toddler section with decent amount of foam equipment and a double slide. But there's nothing to keep the little ones confined to hat area or keep the bigger kids out o that section. Full service cafe!! Their menu looked like it had a good amount of options available- even some healthy options!! Although we didn't get a chance to try anything out. There's a ton of seating available although not all seats have a good view of the play area. My biggest issue during our short visit here was their cleanliness/hygiene of the play area. One of the kids who was playing vomited all over the entry way to the play area. The staff member at the front (who was new and clearly had never dealt with kind of situation) didn't know what to do. He didn't put up any signage to warn anyone- lucky I was nearby so I tried make sure no one ran through the vomit. All the staff member did to clean the area was use some solution in a spray bottle and dab the area with paper towels. I've been to other indoor play areas who have dealt with smaller amounts of vomit but did a LOT more to clean it up- carpet cleaning vacuum, blocking off the area, putting caution signs up. I felt like the staff present just kind of shrugged it off. I get it. Kids get sick. Life happens. But I personally do not take cleanliness and hygiene lightly, especially if there's a chance someone else could become sick because of it. I'm not sure what their policy is about having sick kids return to the play area but that's exactly what they let this kid do- even after the kid vomited exorcism-style in the bathroom!! I wasn't willing to chance my kids catching whatever germ this kid had and we left the place right then. I'm still on the fence about coming back. There's SSSOOOO much potential to the place. I hope they can improve their cleaning and sick child policy. read more

GREAT GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! The owner is so considerate of people with allergies including gluten for kids and adults with Celiacs(gluten free items are cooked separately to eliminate cross contamination). The customer service was amazing. The staff knows how to care for the kids and make them feel safe. The perfect place for an adult to drop off their kids and shop or just hang out on the really comfortable leather couches in the AC. The options are great, ranging from cold beer on tap, Fidalgo Bay coffee(full coffee house menu), and so many food items that are delicious. So happy I found this place for my kids because they love it and I get to relax. Additionally, Fridays form 6pm to 8pm laser tag is played. read more

This place is awesome! It's one of the few places open for kids right now. I love coming here with my grandchildren. The kids are free to run and play as long as they want. The play structure and bathrooms are clean. You can see staff cooking food and they wear gloves and a face mask. We've used there party space for my grandsons birthday it was private and the party person was extremely helpful. read more

Got a chance to be here for opening day. This place is awesome! Such a huge play structure and it's unique. There isn't anything really similar to it in Bellingham, my boys loved it! I have a 5 year old and two year old. And both of them were able to use the bigger play structure with relative ease. This place was designed really well from the inside out. The espresso machine also just looks incredibly cool. My wife and I got some pizza and a fruit and cheese platter and everything was pretty solid with good gluten free options. We had the pepper and pine pizza and I had the cider they had on tap. Overall very impressed with this place. read more
