Emails get returned quickly; all of the guys are ready to help take care of whatever you need. They were very easy to work with before the wedding and genuinely excited to work on my wedding (my mother worked with them through most of this time and LOVED all of them). I had some very specific things that I wanted and there was no hesitation to work it out as well. They were so excited to try some of their new equipment (which included a camera that attached to the front of our limo that took video as it made it's way up to our mansion reception venue). During the wedding/reception I barely even remember seeing them. They're very non-invasive but get AMAZING footage! The only time I remember seeing them after the ceremony was during photos between the ceremony and reception. They were quite active during this time and took footage while we were taking pictures and also jumped in and did some of their own shots which are really neat additions to the video. My husband and my favorite part of the video is a section they did at the end where everybody is dancing. They took one song and took clips from the dancing that lined up PERFECTLY. The editing is outstanding. Overall the project took a while to perfect, but it was WELL worth the wait. They worked with our budget, got us a great package, and kept in touch through out the whole engagement. They did an amazing job on our engagement pictures and even drove an hour away to shoot at the location of our choosing. I knew I wouldn't have to worry about the big day at all, I just let them do their thing knowing everything would turn out beautifully! They always use 2 photographers to get several perspectives and they are a great team! We had Bryce and Mac for our engagement and then Bryce and Zach for the wedding (7/14/12). All three guys were friendly and fun and got along with everyone. They were there early to set up and stayed late to get every last shot. Really can't say enough good things about them. We wanted someone who could not only capture the moment but also our personalities. We were fairly intimidated when we started shopping around. My husband has been studying photography for awhile and had some very specific ideas about his wants and don't wants. We both agreed that we wanted a photographer who would get as much right in-camera and have a subtle touch with the post-processing work. Since we were going for a pretty non-traditional wedding, we also needed someone who would "get" it... or, at least, be game for it. We lucked out with Sarah across the board. Pretty much from the moment we met her at a consult, we were sold. Not only does she have extremely solid photographic and post-processing skills, she is exceptionally nice and out-going. We had a blast at an engagement shoot in Granville. She had great ideas and was open to suggests of location/pose/etc... A couple weeks after the shoot, Sarah came by and we went through the shoot to pick out shots to enhance. Then a couple weeks later (due to technical issues), we got the results and they were fantastic! At this point, we knew we'd chosen the right person to photograph our wedding. About a month before the ceremony, we went over a shot list (our requested photographs) and asked that Sarah take as many candids as she wanted. We also gave her a warning; the event location (16-Bit bar & arcade) is quite dark and that could be an issue. On our event day, Sarah arrived promptly and went to work right away. She took mostly candid shots with a few posed shots mixed in. She blended in with the crowd so that you didn't know that she was there most of the time.. but she also mingled freely and looked like she was having as much fun as the rest of us! This past weekend we were able to get a look at the pictures. And they are amazing! They are so good that we aren't having any of them enhanced. Typically, I hate the way I photograph but she got some shots of me where I look fantastic. We are thrilled with the photographs that Sarah took. I would highly recommend her for wedding, event or portrait photography. She also teaches some photography classes every so often. Her Facebook page is more frequently updated than her website so check for her there.

We hired Lois for 2 different sessions - to take our daughter's senior pictures @ Purdue in the Fall AND post-graduation ceremony family pictures. FYI - I did call around & priced other photographers. Lois' fee is very reasonable. Plus, I have the rights to the digital pictures with no set number of pictures to buy from her. And she sent us the gallery in a matter of weeks - fast turnaround time. For the Fall session, Lois communicated with my daughter on photo spots desired & gave sound advise on the clothes that would pop with the Fall foliage background. She had scoped out the campus a few days prior and gave us good advise on what's best for lighting purposes. It was a very relaxed session and the pictures were great. We also wanted Lois to take our family pictures after graduation. We met @ a designated location (arches on State) and she formed in line a few minutes early to get us going. Lois even did me a favor - she bought a couple of champagne bottles for our cork popping photos. Despite the frigid weather (27 degrees), we walked to several locations as my daughter wanted pictures in iconic spots on campus. There was no vibe of getting done quick despite a very cold dreary afternoon. Thanks to Lois' expertise, we now have wonderful Purdue graduation memories in the form of photos. I might also add, that this mom wanted to immediately post on FB some grad pictures - she gladly took a few using my iPhone.

Don't risk hiring a crappy photog who may crap all over this extremely expensive day. Jessica was great, and she did a great job. She is a pleasure to be around, and the pictures are top-notch. Basically, if Jessica has time in her schedule for your event (whatever it is), you need to take advantage of the privilege of having Jessica shoot your event.
