CUSTOMER BEWARE: There are no negative reviews on google because they bribe customers into removing their negative reviews by offering money off. They wouldn't have this high of a rating - and I definitely wouldn't have hired them if the reviews were a reflection of what it is like to actually work with this company. It's been an over a month and they are still calling me to try to bully me into removing my review. I had to block them. Update 5.24.26 - our deck is peeling and needs to be completely redone. Hiring this company was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made as a homeowner. They didn't show up when they said they would -- multiple times. Not only did they fail to arrive as promised, they also didn't bother to call and let me know. I rearranged my schedule and even took two full days off work so I could be home for them to complete tasks that required my presence, and they didn't even do the work. That alone shows a complete lack of respect for their customers' time. When they finally did show up, the quality of the work was horrendous. Instead of taking the time to tape off or remove hardware from our deck, they just painted right over it. They left paint on my windows, killed plants, and left overspray on multiple surfaces that should never have been touched. To make matters worse, the product they used on the deck allows the natural knots in the wood to bleed through, leaving the finished result looking blotchy, unfinished, and downright atrocious. I've had to call them back several times to fix sloppy mistakes, yet issues still aren't resolved. Their crews clearly rush, cut corners, and show no pride in their work. Customer service has been dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to take real responsibility. After all of this, their idea of compensation was a measly $200 credit for the damage and disruption -- an insulting gesture compared to the cost, stress, and time I've lost. This company lacks professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for customers. If you value your time, your property, and your sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. read more

They were scheduled to be at my place Tuesday afternoon. No show. They would definitely be there Wednesday. No show. Thursday, No show.

This company completely botched our project. They no-showed multiple times without calling, wasting two days I took off work. When they finally came, they painted over deck hardware instead of taping or removing it, got paint on my windows and plants, and left overspray everywhere. They killed multiple plants including an established hydrangea. The product they used on our deck allows knots to bleed through, making it look atrocious. After all this, their "solution" was a $200 credit for the damage. Unprofessional, careless, and not worth the money -- avoid at all costs. read more

Horrible company and horrible owner. He will paint your home the same day they pressure wash it. Down the road that leads to shortened lifespan of paint as trapped moisture will bubble. You would be better off with a different company. This man only cares about your money and not the horrible job his illegal immigrant workers will do on your home. Avoid this company. There are better quality for money places. He uses bleach and that shortens the lifespan of wood. Good luck replacing your wood a few years after his crew paints it. read more

During the quote process I reiterated many times that the most important part of my job was to fix a water leak that I had in my house. I already knew where the source of the leak was, knew how to duplicate it, and shared this information with the person doing the quote. Of course they did all of the other work including wood replacement and painting but did not fix the leak. When I indicated the leak was not fixed, they then said they would need an additional contract and payment to work on fixing the leak. Quite dissatisfied with the situation and still have a leak that needs to be fixed. read more

Received a lower quote from The Exterior Painters, so we went with them. The first outcome looked as if a 10 year old painted the house. The soffits were also the wrong color and stone was painted that should not have been. Just messy. The communication with the service manager was atrocious. He had no clue what he was doing. After they came back for multiple touch ups and a complete re-do, it does look good. However I would not hire them again. For that headache, I would've paid the higher price. Could not have been more pleased. We had neglected our painting in our condo complex for a few years, and it showed. We realized that there was a lot of wood that needed replacement, so we were considering some extreme measures including vinyl cladding, or even replacing wood siding with concrete fiber siding. All of which were fairly expensive options. We brought Exterior Painters in for a proposal and liked their recommendations and their pricing (especially compared with the other options we were considering), so we gave them the contract. We had a LOT of wood and trim replaced, using maintenance free materials. Their team worked long and hard and were very responsive to our questions and concerns. The quality of their workmanship and materials far exceeded our expectations. We just had them come back to do some touch ups on a few small areas, and again, they did a great job. We hired The Exterior Painters this past spring because we were interested in making our house stand out amongst the other all white houses on the block. I called and scheduled an appointment, Patrick came out within two days to do our consultation, and after speaking with three other companies to make the best decision, we decided upon The Exterior Painters. Patrick was very confident in the company he works for and assured my husband and I that we couldn't beat their prices or service. He gave us a pack of reviews from satisfied customers, and three years worth of lists of houses that the company had completed in our own neighborhood. Furthermore, they did come in at the lowest price, so we thought we were making the best choice. Now, I will admit that we love our house color which is why I'm not giving them just one star, but now that the work is done, I can't say anything kind about the service provided. The Painters didn't take our shutters down to paint them, so the dark color they were painted sprayed through on the lighter color house. The Painters tape that was used to cover our door handle on the storm door, actually tore the button right off. The spring literally fell out of it. We had to call them back the next day to have them come fix the issues. When I spoke to Patty she had me send emails of what I wasn't satisfied with. The Painters came the next day and fixed the paint around the shutters, and they purchased a new door handle set to fix our storm door. The new handle set was not as big as the one before so the painter had to move it to make the latch actually catch when it closed. We didn't think it was a big deal at first, but as time has gone on, the door has stopped catching on its own. We heard a loud crash the other night and came to find our door ripped out of the wall by the wind. It took chunks out of our newly painted deck, and now has no spring action. I contacted The Exterior Painters on Thursday morning and spoke to Patty and she said she would call Patrick and schedule an appointment to come out this upcoming week for him to see the issues, and in the meantime I could send pictures of the problem by email. I was told she'd get back to me that day. I didn't hear back from anyone on Thursday, and I called three times on Friday, and left at least two messages with no response. It's pretty poor customer service that a company will boast that they stand by their work and have a superior reputation, yet after a customer has paid in full, they have no accountability for the work that was done. As another reviewer posted, if you hire them, do NOT pay until you are COMPLETELY satisfied. They came out for a quote...peeled paint off the from the front of my house...and then denied it as I looked at the 3" ship sitting by his feet. They then quoted me 10Xs other quotes saying there is lead based paint. The paint was previously tested twice for it...there is no lead based paint. read more

I have never had such a great paint job done by a contractor. The color coordinator matched the colors needed to the house :). The painting crew were very professional, and cleaned up quite well. You would never know they were there. They caulked all the trim and seams, replaced damaged wood, overhead door flashing, door moldings and damaged trim. I literally could not find one fault with the job. I will have them do my house as well, because the garage looks so much nicer :P. Not the cheapest guy, but you get what you pay for. DON'T PAY A DIME UNTIL YOU ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED!! In early June, they spray-painted the exterior of our two-story house and replaced some T-111 siding with new. Brian told us that they would send us a bill after the job was done. The painting and workmanship was fine, but the follow-up was pretty awful. They left a large piece of masking paper and tape at the far, highest corner of the front of the house - impossible for us to get to. Two days after they finished the job, they called wondering where our payment was. I told them that we'd never gotten a bill. (It didn't arrive in the mail until 2 days later.) During that call, however, I informed them about the need to return with a very long ladder to remove the paper and tape and was assured that they'd send somebody out. That same day, they emailed the bill to me, and my check was in the mail THAT DAY -- and cashed. (I should not have paid until the problem was fixed!) Meanwhile, I made several additional follow-up phone calls and sent several emails about the problem. ONE MONTH LATER, and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. The paper is now drooping due to rain, and we hope that it will eventually fall down low enough for us to fix it using our own ladders. We wanted the painting finished before the landscapers started some work in the front, and it looks like this problem will not be fixed before then, despite an entire month to address it and notice to them that there was a looming deadline due to the landscaping issues.
