The office was extremely crowded and did not feel efficient or organized. Machines all over the place even in corners behind privacy screens. I felt very uncomfortable about all the mess. I am going to research other retina specialists.

I believe I didn't listen to his initial timeframe. My follow-up visit was significantly more efficient than my initial visit. This practice operates on a one-person basis. I am astounded by the doctor's ability to maintain order and efficiency. The staff in the back of the practice exhibits a high level of professionalism, while I cannot say the same about the staff in the front.

They found out we had medical insurance and insisted on billing for the visit. We were told they would accept the insurance payment not to worry, but the amount went toward my deductible and they insisted on me paying for the complimentary exam. I talked with the office manager what a joke! She told me the doctor told her to write the bill off but she said said i must pay the copay. I agreed to pay and gave her cash. I then received another bill for the balance of the bill. I refuse to pay this office they lie to the patient just to get them in the door then do everything possible to get as much money as possible from you. I had cancelled the appointment fearing there may be a bill and his office called us back and convinced us to come in assuring us there would be no patient balance. Stay clear of this place! The doctor seems very knowledgeable but his staff only worries about getting money!!

My first visit for my initial evaluation was OK but I had to wait in the waiting room for just under 1 hour before the evaluation even started. The evaluation went well and the Dr. seemed knowledgeable and caring. After the evaluation, I went to see Sally (not her real name) who is something like "the surgery coordinator" where we went over how the surgery process would work and the pricing. I was VERY concerned about the pricing since I have a very high deductible on my insurance. I told her this and said I want to know every cost, no surprises. At that meeting I was told that the cost of the lenses (one for each eye) would be $2150 each (not covered by insurance), the charge for the surgeon would be $700 (with my insurance plan), the surgery center would be $875 and the anesthesiologist would be about $100. I even got a piece of paper from her quoting that those were the prices. A day later, I was confused about the type of lenses (different for each eye) I was getting and during that call she confirmed that the lenses would be $2150 each. A couple weeks later, 4 days prior to my surgery, they charged my credit card for the lenses and the price was now $2950 each....a $1600 increase in total. I called to question the charge and was told by Sally that she must have made a mistake and that the charge would be the higher price....oh sorry but please pay us an extra $1600! If it was a mistake, you would think that they would be willing to try do something to keep a customer happy but no...the price is the price. Not the best customer service. I requested a refund and am now looking for another doctor.

I will say that - after five minutes in the waiting room - I'm beginning to believe there's something to Feng Shui. The front door of the office leads directly to a bathroom, and - judging from the energy levels of the reception and accounting staff - the "chi" must be surging in the door and directly down the toilet. The cure could be simply keeping the door to the bathroom closed. But what do I know? Dr. Patel's medical assistants were knowledgeable, cheerful, and gentle, all qualities that I especially appreciate where my eyes are concerned. Thank you!

Here we were, 15 minutes before the appointment they already rescheduled twice, and they canceled for the same reason they rescheduled the previous two!! With COVID policy prohibiting siblings in appointments, BOTH my wife and I had to take off work...THREE times now to coordinate. Unfortunately, eye centers doesn't have the courtesy or professionalism to keep their appointments. Looking through the other reviews, I see we aren't alone in their scheduling errors.

It was not an easy process to choose. But Dr. Vaziri was confident in his advise and he was right! I like my "new eyes"! Everyone in the office are very professional, especially Nicole. In addition to my growing cataract problem, my vision had steadily declined over 45 years periodically requiring stronger and stronger lenses. (Suddenly, at age 40, I couldn't read a newspaper.) While I don't recall who suggested Fisher Eye, it was only good luck that I wound up with Dr. Vaziri who suggested that my cataract removal could include a lens replacement that would eliminate my having to wear any glasses at all. Apparently, a fairly recent development in artificial lenses that would focus far, near, and in between was becoming routine and would work for me, even at my ripe old age of 85. Wow, I'm now, completely glasses free with 20/20 vision! Thank you, Dr. Vaziri. The procedure is not inexpensive, but, in my estimation worth it. No hassle, no pain, only gain. I went to see Dr. Gresham today as a new patient and can only say positive things about this doctor…read moreand his practice. I went in with a specific eye issue I am experiencing and after spending 25 minutes with me, he stopped the eye examination and very politely informed me that he could not treat me for the issue I had and did not want to continue on with the exam and waste my time (which was after going through some eye tests and determining what my exact problem was). He was also beyond generous to not charge my insurance for the appointment, even though I took up his very valuable time. He even referred me to a specialist that can properly treat / monitor my condition. I have had bad experiences in the past with doctors, dentists, etc that "treat" you for something just so they can get paid. It is very rare to find someone in this field that you can trust, that is truly honest and looking out for your best interests and Dr. Gresham definitely has these qualities. You can tell he cares about his patients and their well-being and that is personally all I can ever ask for in a doctor. Although he couldn't help me today with my issue, I will not only be back for my annual eye exams but referring family members / friends as well.
