If I could give ZERO stars I would!…read more Our visit to Tyson Eye with Stuart Kaplan, OD, was one of the most upsetting medical experiences my family has ever had. This guy is a joke And shouldn't be in business as a physician. From the moment my wife and son walked in, the interaction felt shockingly unprofessional. The attitude they encountered came across as rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in understanding my son's medical history. Instead of listening or showing even basic respect, the behavior they experienced made them feel talked down to and ignored. The situation became so uncomfortable and disrespectful that my wife and son chose to walk out rather than continue the appointment. That alone should say everything. Based on our experience, this is not a place we would ever trust with our family's care. If you value being heard, respected, and treated with basic professionalism, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Our experience left us deeply disappointed and unwilling to return. STAY AWAY!

We were told they would accept the insurance payment not to worry, but the amount went toward my deductible and they insisted on me paying for the complimentary exam. I talked with the office manager what a joke! She told me the doctor told her to write the bill off but she said said i must pay the copay. I agreed to pay and gave her cash. I then received another bill for the balance of the bill. I refuse to pay this office they lie to the patient just to get them in the door then do everything possible to get as much money as possible from you. I had cancelled the appointment fearing there may be a bill and his office called us back and convinced us to come in assuring us there would be no patient balance. Stay clear of this place! The doctor seems very knowledgeable but his staff only worries about getting money!!

My first visit for my initial evaluation was OK but I had to wait in the waiting room for just under 1 hour before the evaluation even started. The evaluation went well and the Dr. seemed knowledgeable and caring. After the evaluation, I went to see Sally (not her real name) who is something like "the surgery coordinator" where we went over how the surgery process would work and the pricing. I was VERY concerned about the pricing since I have a very high deductible on my insurance. I told her this and said I want to know every cost, no surprises. At that meeting I was told that the cost of the lenses (one for each eye) would be $2150 each (not covered by insurance), the charge for the surgeon would be $700 (with my insurance plan), the surgery center would be $875 and the anesthesiologist would be about $100. I even got a piece of paper from her quoting that those were the prices. A day later, I was confused about the type of lenses (different for each eye) I was getting and during that call she confirmed that the lenses would be $2150 each. A couple weeks later, 4 days prior to my surgery, they charged my credit card for the lenses and the price was now $2950 each....a $1600 increase in total. I called to question the charge and was told by Sally that she must have made a mistake and that the charge would be the higher price....oh sorry but please pay us an extra $1600! If it was a mistake, you would think that they would be willing to try do something to keep a customer happy but no...the price is the price. Not the best customer service. I requested a refund and am now looking for another doctor.

I will say that - after five minutes in the waiting room - I'm beginning to believe there's something to Feng Shui. The front door of the office leads directly to a bathroom, and - judging from the energy levels of the reception and accounting staff - the "chi" must be surging in the door and directly down the toilet. The cure could be simply keeping the door to the bathroom closed. But what do I know? Dr. Patel's medical assistants were knowledgeable, cheerful, and gentle, all qualities that I especially appreciate where my eyes are concerned. Thank you!

I met with Dr Robin who first explained the possible causes of dry eyes and then subjected me to a couple of tests. Wow! I was fascinated with both tests and clearly saw evidence that some of my tear ducts were clogged and decaying. Dr Robin then performed a 10-minute Lipiflow treatment that was designed to unclog my tear ducts to prevent further decay. The treatment itself was very benign and, while I won't realize full benefit from the Lipiflow treatment for a couple months, I was happy that I was finally getting some relief for my eyes. This experience was fantastic. Dr Robin and his team were gracious, professional and clearly confident in the technology. I heartily recommend Frantz Eye Care and Lipiflow for anyone who is tired of scratchy, dry eyes.

I went in with a specific eye issue I am experiencing and after spending 25 minutes with me, he stopped the eye examination and very politely informed me that he could not treat me for the issue I had and did not want to continue on with the exam and waste my time (which was after going through some eye tests and determining what my exact problem was). He was also beyond generous to not charge my insurance for the appointment, even though I took up his very valuable time. He even referred me to a specialist that can properly treat / monitor my condition. I have had bad experiences in the past with doctors, dentists, etc that "treat" you for something just so they can get paid. It is very rare to find someone in this field that you can trust, that is truly honest and looking out for your best interests and Dr. Gresham definitely has these qualities. You can tell he cares about his patients and their well-being and that is personally all I can ever ask for in a doctor. What's most concerning is the complete lack of communication and urgency from this office. We have repeatedly called for updates, and no one returns calls unless we constantly follow up. There has been no proactive outreach from the doctor or staff at any point.My husband had an X-ray done, and we still have not received any guidance on results or next steps. Meanwhile, he is now out of medication and in significant pain, with no support from the provider managing his care. Due to this lack of responsiveness and concern, we are now forced to seek help at urgent care. This level of neglect is unacceptable. Patients deserve timely communication, proper follow-up, and a sense that their condition matters. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience here.
