Then filling out the paperwork was also easy. The front office staff were so kind. I was kinda nervous as my GIL is hard of hearing. Yet they were patient and happy to help. I wasn't in the exam room but when my GIL came out, she sat with the opticians to talk about glasses. GIL had some old frames she wanted to use and they were happy to use her old frames instead of selling her new ones. Overall, it sounds like the experience my GIL had was positive.

I've been getting my eyes examined here once/year for nearly a decade and can't believe that I've…read morenot reviewed them yet. For starters, its been a decade for them providing me this service so I suppose that says it all for my satisfaction with the service here. I don't have any complaints. I typically call in the Summer to schedule my annual visit for the Fall. I've always been able to get my first or second appointment choice without issue. They are pretty good with the automated and personal reminders for appointments. If an earlier appointment becomes available, you'll get automated message to opt for the earlier appointment if you want it. Once on site, I'm typically greeted by the staff working up front in the showroom doing eye glass fittings, etc. The exam in performed in the back. At check-in, you're ID and insurance is verified and you're given a clip board with documents to complete. Probably best to arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to have time to complete these without a rush. Most of the time, I've probably waited 5-10 minutes after handing in my clip board before the tech takes me in for the ocular screenings. This takes about 10-15 minutes. Sometimes the Doc is immediately ready for you and sometimes there could be a short wait. Once you're done with the Doc, you pay and receive your prescription, if you have one. If you have a prescription and want to fill it, then you'd see the staff up front. Everyone has been cordial, friendly and helpful. Overall, its been good enough for me to continue coming back.

We then proceed to play phone tag for the next week so that I can place my order for contacts with him over the phone. Finally got them ordered, correct shipping address and receipt were sent to my email. Fast forward over two weeks later, I never received my tracking information or updates on where my contacts are. So I called the optical number today and was met with an extremely rude lady whose name I did not get. She had an attitude, was unable to provide me with a correct tracking information for my contacts and kept saying it was delivered to my house and in my mailbox. Both of these statements are WRONG. I live in a new complex and we do not have mailboxes yet, which I know, but went to confirm with the front office just to cover all my bases. The lady with a thick accent and rude attitude hung up the phone on me when I told her the tracking information she gave me was invalid and refused to give me any tracking info. Not sure how true this is but she said target standardly does not provide tracking info for contacts lenses since they're shipped from the laboratory?? I asked to speak with her manager before she hung up the phone with me, she said in a very rude way I could not speak to her manager as he's a human too and is on vacation until next week. I attached a screenshot of how many times I called back the target optical phone number because the lady I spoke with gave me incorrect tracking information and would not give me the correct one when I told her on the phone, instead she hung up on me. So long story short: I have no tracking information or know where my contacts are, and they charged my card. Pretty much said it was not their problem as it was delivered, couldn't even provide me with a photo of it being delivered. The service here is terrible. Would not recommend.

He went in the back a few times to look for different colors and helped with minor adjustments too. I had trouble with some of their wide width glasses still being a bit too tight and he found some that were extra wide, and those fit a lot better. Usually I'm fine, but none of their frames had those springs that make the arms(legs?) go outwards. I had glasses like this before and they squeezed my head and gave me a headache. I understand they can be adjusted but past history wants me only wanting those glassed with springs. The price wasn't too bad with the frames and progressive lenses. I planned on going back if I didn't find something elsewhere, but I got lucky at another place. I already had a prescription, so I was just looking for frames and lenses and can't comment on the eye inspection (is that what it's called?)

The nurses/assistants were very nice and they answered any questions I had. Then I met Dr. Herschel and he was very nice and understanding. He explained all that would happen, how everything works, how long recovery will be, everything. So, I agreed and start the process.
