One member of the staff was consistently nasty and condescending. Moreover, I feel the information she gave me was often misleading and in bad faith. Southland Vision care also lost half of my test results. When I received my test results by mail, they included two copies from the same eye and none from the other. Each of the copies was individually annotated. That such an obvious error made it through analysis and mailing suggests either a puzzling level of incompetence or actual malfeasance. When I pointed out the error, the office was willing to refund the cost of the test. However, they were unwilling to refund the cost of the office visit that they had specifically scheduled to perform the test as I had "spent a lot of time in the office" getting the test (the results of which they lost).

He arrived at exactly 3:15, but the receptionist was not only rude -- she was dismissive and arrogant. She never looked up from her computer while telling him he was late and the doctor was fully booked. No attempt to reschedule was made, and the tone was anything but professional. As a Vietnam veteran, my husband deserves to be treated with dignity. After years of 5-star experiences, we'll now be looking elsewhere for our eye care. He dismissively said that he did not have the time to talk me into the shot. Then he said get the shot or go blind. He then stormed out of the room. One of their supervisors came into the room and allowed me to question her. He then came back in to give me the shot. Again very dismissive. I saw him for maybe 5 minutes total. I ended up in the emergency room with a BP of 259/159. It took more than 6 hours to get it back to a reasonable reading. The fact that this is one of the side effects of this drug I had to look up on my own.
