I had an appointment scheduled 9 months ago and confirmed it when I received a text reminder on December 27. Today, I drove 40 minutes each way, arranged childcare for my 2- and 4-year-old, and arrived on time--only to be told I did not have an appointment. The front desk staff rudely and repeatedly told me that her manager "called and canceled" my appointment on January 6, 2026 at 3:30 PM. I received no phone call, no voicemail, and no written notification. I even checked my phone records through my service provider, which confirm no incoming call at that time. Despite this, the staff member continued to insist that the call was "documented in the system," with no apology and no effort to resolve the situation. This resulted in over 1.5 hours of wasted driving, unnecessary childcare arrangements, and a completely avoidable disruption to my day. Dr. Sika is excellent--but this office's front desk staff and scheduling practices are unprofessional and unreliable. After 24 years as a loyal patient, I will never return to this office. A practice that cancels appointments without actually notifying patients--and then treats them poorly for showing up--is not worthy of anyone's time.

I ended up in the emergency room with a BP of 259/159. It took more than 6 hours to get it back to a reasonable reading. The fact that this is one of the side effects of this drug I had to look up on my own.

They do a series of tests to see if you are a candidate for Lasik and to measure your prescription to see how much your eyes have changed since your last eye doctor appointment. All the tests were standard that you see at your eye doctor and didn't hurt a bit. My eyes were -5, meaning I was near-sighted. I also suffered from astigmatism. Dr. Thomas assured me that my eyes were very healthy and I was a great candidate for the surgery. The consultation was $100 and if you aren't a candidate it is refunded. If you elect to get your surgery through his office, the money is used toward the cost of the surgery. The friendly staff were able to schedule a surgery just 3 days after the exam! I was relieved to see Dr. Thomas was able to answer all of my questions about what to expect at the surgery and the recovery time afterwards. Dr. Thomas called me personally the night before the surgery to see if I had any more questions and how I was feeling leading up to it. The day of the surgery, I was explained in detail how to take care of my eyes and how to use the eye drops prescribed to me.The surgery was a breeze! I didn't feel any pain and it only lasted 20 seconds per eye! Even walking out of the office, I had vision close to 20/20! By that evening, I was seeing crystal clear! Dr. Thomas went above and beyond! He even called me in the evening to see how my recovery was going! After a few hours, I felt like a million bucks! I would recommend Dr. Thomas to all my family and friends and couldn't imagine a better experience! Top notch care! Thank you so much for all the professional staff and facilities!

This business opened 2 years ago (in 2018) in Rocky River so they are still fairly new. The facility is very neat and clean. EYE EXAM -- The whole exam took about 15-20 minutes. You will go through the standard eye check then test your eye sight by reading letters off a board. I also added 2 additional services, a blood pressure test one other test (for a total of about $25 extra). I can't remember the name of the other test but I think it was a glucose test. My insurance covered the eye exam and new frames (new glasses). I paid extra because my insurance didn't cover everything 100%. I also added blue light to my glasses to reduce the effect of eye strain when starring at a computer. GLASSES -- There are so many options to choose from. Cindy, the front desk clerk, helped me choose which frames to get. I ended up with a colourful and patterned DRAPER JAMES frame. Draper James eyewear was started by actor Reese Witherspoon which is cool because I had no idea that she had a glasses line. I recommend Dr. Hopper if you are looking for a eye doctor in the west side of Cleveland. **** - 15/100 total reviews in 2021 - 434 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 19 January 2021

The glasses came in but i could not see clearly thru the right lens. I was re examined; the doctor stated that was the best he could do. The glasses were re ordered . I was told there was some kind of mix up . They came in 2 weeks later. I left with the glasses but came right back as again the rt side vision was not clear. When i walked in the the guy that fits the frames said What Now. I told him the rt side is no good. That what now remark really irritated me .-i walked out. I have not worn the glasses since i picked them up as they are useless. They are sitting in a junk drawer at home. I paid 410.46 for nothing-what now-. I will not go to Crapanzano again. I will find an eye doctor that will be able to provide good service or at least not be condescending or insulting.
