Facilities felt safe with gates up forming a lane to protect you from other throwers and magnetic testing plates for axes during resting periods. Has designated parking, a neon sign for photo ops. Love how they use "axe" as a pun. The food was great! I had a garlic aoli burger and wings. Comes with pretzel bun and chips but opted to sub for fries which were a little overcooked for my liking but still delicious. They offer a full service bar and mocktails or NA versions of drinks. 7 of us took lime scooters over from Broadway which was a lot of fun, until we got the charge and realized one scooter ride would have covered a Lyft for half of us. The dude that showed us how everything works was very helpful and this place serves alcohol which made our experience even better. Came here casually for my birthday. We didn't have any concrete plans, but a random activity to get into. This was a very clean and welcoming facility. Not too many people were here when we visited, which made the experience even more relaxed and stress free. There is an art to throwing an axe. I can't say that I've mastered it, but I'm a work in progress. Booking online for a group is a little more expensive than if you do a walk-in with a group. I believe it was $10 cheaper per person. This was our first stop upon arriving in Nashville and it did not disappoint. We went early afternoon and the place was pretty empty. We didn't end up trying any of the food but they had a pretty large food and drinks menu. The place itself was very nice and clean and great for larger parties. It was a beautiful day so we asked to use the outdoor stalls. We had the whole area to ourselves (on a Tuesday afternoon). Our trainer, bartender, server (male) Sam was amazing. He was extremely attentive and patient with our group and made us feel super comfortable. This place is pretty large, has a full bar, great menu options, and CLEAN bathrooms. Our group had sodas, beers, and margaritas. The margs were especially good. The axe throwing was a fun activity. You can rent a space by the hour, which was just enough time for two games for our party of 5. Service is excellent. Adam, our server / coach / judge / hype man, was super friendly and made it a great experience. We visited on a Friday during the day, so there was plenty of space available. I can see it being pretty packed on the weekends or evenings. However, we were happy for it to be on the quieter side so that we didn't have loud groups in the areas on the sides of us. Came here to watch the Manchester City vs. Newcastle Futbol game. The vibes were awesome. The food matched the vibes. Their beer I've been told is pretty tasty and the food was even better. They have available gluten-free options and I have to say they were pretty great. The salad with brisket (which was amazingly tender and fatty) and the tater tots were highlights for sure. This was a really fun double date for my husband and I and our couple friends. We paid 42 dollars per person for two hours of play. They have bar-type food available: pretzels, fries, burgers, chicken tenders. They also have beer and mixed drinks. Prices and quality are as expected and get the job done. Each lane has a server/coach. Ours was Casey, who was nice, attentive, and gave us regular feedback on how to throw the various axes and knives. She answered all my questions without hesitation. The facility is clean, tons of windows and space. Seating and lounge spaces throughout. Parking on site. They change the boards out regularly. There was some maintenance going on while we were there. My buddy threw a "No kids. Adult happy hour" here for about 10 of us and it was blast. Easy check-in and waiver signing, quick, but detailed instructions on throwing the axes, and then we were off to the races! It was a little tricky throwing the axes at first, but once I switched to single handed versus the two hands set up, I was a bullseye hitting mofo. I think there are about 16 throwing lanes here with plenty of space to hang and mingle. I do suggest making a reservation, because by the time we left the place was pretty packed and it was a Wednesday! The bar area is awesome and is right next to the stage area. There's an amazing view of DT and the Convention center from the bar and I believe there's an outdoor space as well. The food was ok, just some basic bar foods; cheese curds, sliders, etc. The parking here is tight and there is a lot of construction happening around here as well. So be prepared to circle the block for a space. Super fun experience and I highly recommend trying it! read more

This is a great rainy day activity! Definitely make a reservation. Online it said we could walk in, but we got there and they told us there was absolutely no way we could get in because they had no availability. We walked outside made a reservation online, and then they let us in. Of course the online reservation is twice as expensive, so that was annoying. Once we got in, we had a great time. I visited the restaurant with a large group on a Friday night so we were mindful of a possible wait time because it was a busy night and we had a large party. However our server was rude (abruptly handing us or placing our plates on the table) and we didn't really feel welcomed while visiting. There were other big parties there as well and we seemed to be the only ones to receive the bad service. First, if you're going to bring a big group (more than 6) definitely call ahead and get a group rate. We had 10+ and the walk in rate is $27 per person, per hour. Meshing we each threw a couple axes and paid $30 each. Oh and they charge a mandatory 18% gratuity on top of that. Absolutely not worth it. Second, the service is lacking. Took a long time to get our food, never got refills on drinks, never even got a fork.. Just not good. The food wasn't great - soggy nachos (and hey no fork to even try and eat them with..)
