This was our first stop upon arriving in Nashville and it did not disappoint. We went early afternoon and the place was pretty empty. We didn't end up trying any of the food but they had a pretty large food and drinks menu. The place itself was very nice and clean and great for larger parties. The pricing was fair and overall we had a good experience. Would recommend to anyone interested visiting Nashville for the first time.

We came here to throw some axes, but of course ordering a few snacks and drinks...the staff here are super nice and our sever was serving us and coaching us how to throw axes. When we were there, they were not busy, so he took time to show us and correcting us what not to do. I became an "axe-pert" now. Food was typical bar food...good enough for this kind of setting. They also have live music...

Enjoying the great weather while throwing axes.

We had a small group on vacation in Nashville and wanted to take a "Broadway break" so we decided to go axe throwing. This place was within walking distance to our hotel. It was a GREAT place! It was a beautiful day so we asked to use the outdoor stalls. We had the whole area to ourselves (on a Tuesday afternoon). Our trainer, bartender, server (male) Sam was amazing. He was extremely attentive and patient with our group and made us feel super comfortable. This place is pretty large, has a full bar, great menu options, and CLEAN bathrooms. I would highly recommend when you're in downtown Nashville and your liver needs a break from Broadway. 5-star all the way!

We only tried the soft pretzel to snack on. It was good - surprisingly, it was cooked with a LOT of butter! Tasted more like table bread than a pretzel in my opinion. Our group had sodas, beers, and margaritas. The margs were especially good. The axe throwing was a fun activity. You can rent a space by the hour, which was just enough time for two games for our party of 5. Service is excellent. Adam, our server / coach / judge / hype man, was super friendly and made it a great experience. We visited on a Friday during the day, so there was plenty of space available. I can see it being pretty packed on the weekends or evenings. However, we were happy for it to be on the quieter side so that we didn't have loud groups in the areas on the sides of us. Would recommend as a unique thing to do in the area!

We have done axe throwing at home in Boston so we decided to go here. Was a fun time and staff was very nice and educated you on techniques and how to have fun safely!

After a day of shopping my friends and I were looking for something fun to do. We decided to give axe throwing a shot and we had the best time! The staff was very helpful in giving us tips and pointers on how to hold/throw the axe as well as giving great menu recommendations. This is a great spot and a great alternative to a regular restaurant.

Came here to watch the Manchester City vs. Newcastle Futbol game. The vibes were awesome. The food matched the vibes. Their beer I've been told is pretty tasty and the food was even better. They have available gluten-free options and I have to say they were pretty great. The salad with brisket (which was amazingly tender and fatty) and the tater tots were highlights for sure. We did not try the axe-throwing but from what I observed of other parties participating, it seems like a good time. Sam was our server and she was attentive, kind, and overall wonderful. I highly recommend coming here if you need a fun night out or if you are a Futbol fan looking for a great place to watch the next game.

This was a really fun double date for my husband and I and our couple friends. We paid 42 dollars per person for two hours of play. They have bar-type food available: pretzels, fries, burgers, chicken tenders. They also have beer and mixed drinks. Prices and quality are as expected and get the job done. Each lane has a server/coach. Ours was Casey, who was nice, attentive, and gave us regular feedback on how to throw the various axes and knives. She answered all my questions without hesitation. The facility is clean, tons of windows and space. Seating and lounge spaces throughout. Parking on site. They change the boards out regularly. There was some maintenance going on while we were there. They also have live entertainment some evenings. I feel we got a lot for the value and would love to do it again.

Great staff. Decent drinks. Pretty good chow. The axes are nice and the lanes are good. Clean and easy to find. Live music on occasion.

My buddy threw a "No kids. Adult happy hour" here for about 10 of us and it was blast. Easy check-in and waiver signing, quick, but detailed instructions on throwing the axes, and then we were off to the races! It was a little tricky throwing the axes at first, but once I switched to single handed versus the two hands set up, I was a bullseye hitting mofo. I think there are about 16 throwing lanes here with plenty of space to hang and mingle. I do suggest making a reservation, because by the time we left the place was pretty packed and it was a Wednesday! The bar area is awesome and is right next to the stage area. There's an amazing view of DT and the Convention center from the bar and I believe there's an outdoor space as well. The food was ok, just some basic bar foods; cheese curds, sliders, etc. The parking here is tight and there is a lot of construction happening around here as well. So be prepared to circle the block for a space. Super fun experience and I highly recommend trying it!

Bad Axe is Bad A**. What a great experience, the atmosphere was vibrant and the staff as super super friendly and helpful (Ashley). A great place for a family, friends or colleagues. Axe throwing isn't as hard as you'd think and actually a great time. You wouldn't expect the food to be anything but substance here but it was actually pretty good. The pork nachos and fried pickles were delicious! This place is worth checking out we had a great experience.

The food was good but the service and drinks not so much. I visited the restaurant with a large group on a Friday night so we were mindful of a possible wait time because it was a busy night and we had a large party. However our server was rude (abruptly handing us or placing our plates on the table) and we didn't really feel welcomed while visiting. There were other big parties there as well and we seemed to be the only ones to receive the bad service. The axe throwing experience was fun and the staff member who helped us was very kind and helpful in the process. Ps. You need to wear closed-toe shoes in order to axe throw, but they also have boot rentals if needed. If you're visiting, I recommend the Mac & cheese plate!

This place is an absolute blast! We were in town visiting from Indiana and had our cousins visiting from Europe with us. Staff was so friendly, and were great coaching us on how to throw better! Cocktails and appetizers were delicious and it was a great place for any size group. Fun painted murals and decor made it a great spot even for a quick drink and photo opp! We loved it and will definitely be back!

We also tried the Moonlight in Vermont which was their riff on an old fashioned. For the Moonlight in Vermont they replaced the simple syrup with maple syrup... a nice twist that was not overly sweet. My husband enjoyed the French dip sandwich with Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were crispy & tossed in an aioli. I had the steak frites skewers. I loved all the sauce options that came with the steak. The garlic aioli was my favorite sauce. We did not save room for dessert but they all looked yummy coming out of the kitchen. Thank you Tad & The Finch staff for an excellent Saturday night dinner. Looking forward to another visit on our return to Nashville.

Order at the counter, they bring out the food to your table, and they'll also bus the table. We ordered 3 things to feed 5 medium hungry people and that was about right. The quantity of meat on the full rack of ribs felt like it was 2+ entrees. The beef brisket and whole pig (pulled pork) plates came with 2 sides and the full rack of ribs came with 3 sides. The ribs were meaty and cooked to a firm more chewy consistency. Brisket came with 3 half slices (probably the only plate I could have finished on my own) - cooked to a firmer consistency with a few drier bits. Whole hog was what I assume pulled pork from different parts of the pig (they have a separate pulled pork from pork shoulder). Thought the pulled pork had the right consistency. All the meats were reasonably seasoned. For the table, there was a very thin vinegar based sauce. The ribs came with a sauce that was the consistency that I would expect from a barbecue sauce. The rib sauce might have had a little ketchup and brown sugar in it to give it some body, but it was still very vinegar-forward. I would give the slight nod to the sauce that came with the ribs. We tried seven different sides - Slaw, Broccoli Salad, Baked Beans, Hoecakes, Green Beans, Fries, Mac & Cheese. I liked Fries the most - slightly thinner cut and really nice crust. Cornbread Hoecakes were the most interesting item being a Cornbread version of a pancake. Nothing particularly notable about the Slaw, Broccoli Salad, and Mac & Cheese - thought they roughly met expectations. Baked Beans were also on the tarter side. Green beans were Italian Green Beans and a bit softer than I'd like. I can't recall having other Nashville Barbecue, so this is really my first time having it. Meats were a bit firmer than what I'm used to. I've also been heavily conditioned to sweet sauces, so vinegar-forward Nashville style was a shock to the system. Sides were ok. Good amount of food for the price (with the brisket being a portion that most people could finish)

I am still thinking of them 2 months later. I should have ordered this as my entree as well! The Rio, I could have done without. Squishy and lacked flavor for me. My cousin had Tot's El Tio Fun. Needed something. I thought it was a little dry. I did the trio. My choices: Brussels, fried rice and mac and cheese. I didn't realize these would be smaller than the original side version. The brussels needed more of a sauce. The rice- I wanted the egg on top but apparently this only happens when it is just the side. The mac and cheese was good. My friend raved over the Wedge between Us salad. My husband had the Bird Is The Word and has nothing but good things to say. Also, what a cute kids meal served in an only school microwaveable type of meal. I also felt I had to get a desert so the cookies it was and they were a little hard. My complaint- their website advertises the Happy Hour specials. They have it posted on the stalls in the bathroom. Nowhere does it say that you can only have the Happy Hour specials if you sit at the bar or outside. This made me upset! Advertise better. Be clear. Overall: the BRIE!!! True Score: 3.75
