We have found that this is a wonderful place to eat, both booths and tables, chairs your choice. Waitresses are mostly very friendly and knowledgeable of items on menue, choices for breakfast, lunches are all really good, very nice portions are good, presentation of your order is very nice and smell's great. We have found everything we've ordered to have great taste and never leave hungry, most of the time take home left over because it's that good. It's a small little resturant very Quant and friendly. It's one of our favorite go to for breakfast, but has great choices for lunches as well. This is one of three where the have two sisters branch resturant, on the original downtown Farmington, Mo. And I assume #3 is downtown Park Hill, Mo. And we can tell you all three are about the same, we don't think you will dislike the food and any three of them, we have ate at all three and recommend all three in all areas. Ate here for breakfast after moving my son and his family to town. If you're looking for a good ole fashioned diner/cafe, then this is your place. I ate classic eggs bacon and hash browns with English muffins. It was great. It came out cooked exactly like I requested. My favorite part is they have apple butter! I love apple butter. Anyway, the service was great. The staff was friendly. It's a normal cafe so the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect. The only part I didn't care for was the taste of the coffee. It's not bad by any means. I just didn't care for it. It wasn't bitter. It wasn't old. It's just different. Other than that, prices are fair. I'll definitely eat here again when we are in town visiting the grandkids. read more

I had a terrible experience here. The wait time was absolutely ridiculous--we waited over an hour after ordering and still didn't receive any food, while tables around us who arrived later were already being served. To make things worse, our waitress was extremely rude and dismissive the entire time. Her attitude alone made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, the service was disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

We were passing through Farmington and stopped by here for a bite to eat. I know it takes a little time to get your food, but we ordered right after they brought our drinks. After almost an hour, I went to the counter to find out why our food was still not out. I was told the pilot light was out and had to be re-lit. That would have been a valid excuse if the people around us that got there after us, got their food way before us. I think they probably forgot to put our order in. Was headed to Steak and Shake for breakfast when this place caught my eye with the sign that said "Best Breakfast Around". Well at that point it was on. I just had to go see if it actually was. If you like simple diners then this is the place to go. It's neat, clean, and has friendly staff. I looked through the menu and couldn't believe the many options they had. I finally decided on the Popeye Omelet and wasn't disappointed. It had spinach, onions, bacon, & Swiss cheese. The eggs themselves were fluffy and light. I must say, it was DELICIOUS. Now I just wish this place wasn't so far from home. I'll probably never get back here, BUT if I do I'll definitely be eating here again to try something new. read more

Have been at Factory and Factory 2 many times but today stopped and left without being served after four tables came in and seated and served. Don't know why we were ignored after seating, we did not provoke any attitude but at the point of watching four tables seated after us so we left and want to provide this negative review as a result. read more

Went there today. They were packed but seating was available. Waited over an hour then stopped our waitress and ask about our order. She said they were doing to go orders and ours would be out soon. I told her I was a diabetic and needed food. My BS was 80 and dropping which I told her this. Her response "it will be out soon". And walked away. At that point my husband, granddaughter and myself walked out with maybe 5 tables seated. She said to us as we walked the door our food was being fixed. Sorry. Solid diner conveniently located tucked away just off the highway. Smaller than usual menu for a diner which I actually appreciate. Based on their offerings, they have a clear focus on breakfast fare. I enjoyed the factory skillet which you might just describe as their signature "kitchen sink" entree. While served on a plate rather than a traditional "skillet", it is a full plate of hashbrowns cooked crispy covered in every breakfast meat imaginable with sautéed vegetables, tomatoes, covered in cheese and topped with eggs cooked just how you like them. It was absolutely delicious. My dining partners had the factory omelette and the French toast. The 3 egg omelette was remarkably fluffy and filled with everything in the factory skillet with the hashbrowns served on the side. Bottom line, the food was classic diner deliciousness. Service was pretty lax, especially given the sever to customer ratio, clearly in favor of the servers. Went long stretches with empty drink glasses but when you did get their attention they were helpful and polite. Will definitely stop in again next time we are in that neck of the woods. read more

We have been here a hundred times. Great size of meals for the price!!! And was only disappointed once. A couple of weeks ago we went in and I ordered pancakes with bacon on the side. Just like I always do. The pancakes are huge (I can only eat 1.) The bacon had an after taste of a dirty moldy rag was used to wash the pan that the bacon was cooked in. The hamburgers are very big and juice. My family have had several of the different versions and have never been disappointed. The french fries are the best! (when cooked fully) we have had GREAT service and a couple of time not so good. Overall this is a 5 star place. Great food at a very reasonable price. read more

Best breakfast in Farmington because it is one of the few available. My husband, daughter and I sat for one hour before receiving our food. We didn't order anything extravagant either, just breakfast. Our food came out at separate times also. My husband and I got our food and had to wait another five mins for our daughter's French Toast. I could hear two waitresses talking behind the counter about "it doesn't matter who gets their food first, it depends on who puts in their order first." We put our order in before the other five tables even came in the building. Very unprofessional. Our waitress was polite and good. Place is way too small and overly crowded. Waitresses are running around with their heads cut off. Not a relaxing place to go. Do not go hungry... make sure you eat a snack first because you will be waiting a long time for food. read more

I order from them frequently. Made the mistake of ordering fries as my side today instead of the usual salad. Asked for the fries to be cooked crispy please. When my order was picked up and brought to me by my co-worker, the fries were limp, barely cooked and mostly raw in the center of each. When I called to speak with someone, all they could say was sorry and would you like us to drop you a fresh batch. I stated no, that I didn't have time to come back and pick them up. They continued to only say sorry. There is no way that the cook or the person delivering the finished product for pickup even looked at the fries. So, the side I received was totally inedible and the only offer was to cook them again for me to come back and get them. Not very good customer service. It will be a long time before I order from them again, if ever based on their lack of concern for customer satisfaction. read more

I was there for breakfast with an old High School buddy that I hadn't seen in years. The place was his suggestion and it was a great one. Service was really good. Never had less than half a cup o coffee before they were refilling. With more years to catch up on than I care to admit, we sat there for 2 hours and never once was given the stink eye about getting out. The food was really good. I had the prime rib omelet and it was cooked to perfection. My only gripe was the hash browns, not enough crispy bits for my liking. It was only OK, but not worth sending back for a crisping. We were there on a bad day...parking lot was torn up for repaving so the lines weren't that bad to get in. Other days without the parking lot issue the place was absolutely packed. While commonly dubbed the "best breakfast" in town, it is one of the only places in Farmington, MO that specializes in breakfast. However, this does not discredit their quality. This review is for the Factory location and NOT the Factory 2 Everything was wrong. I ordered scrambled - got over easy. Ordered bacon, got sausage. Ordered hash browns, got nothing. Ordered wheat toast got white toast. They seated us on the patio - really just an area outside the regular seating area and still inside the building, 5 tables with customers and no one being served. This is a great discovery for casual dining. Still newer to the Farmington area and missing home. The salads here though are fresh and of decent portions. This is not the first time we've been disappointed at this diner versus the Factory Diner one. We waited for 45 minutes for our meal (eggs, French toast, burger and gyro. There must have been 8 or 9 other tables who came in just after us and non of them had food but my husband watched 3 cooks head out the back door around the lunch hour and then come back together after a bit with nothing in their hands. We waited another 20 minutes after they came back in and voila-no food. We left and are not going back. They are never like this at the factory diner one. read more

I saw their van driving around town & it said "best breakfast in town". I had been wanting to try this place, so the next day my son & I went for breakfast. They were not joking. They have the best breakfast. We have needed someplace like this every since we lost Plank Road Inn. If I could I wouldn't give this place any stars between the horrible service or the horrible food. We went and go breakfast there yesterday morning and the food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. No way could the food be cooked fresh in that amount of time. The eggs were not cooked right, so I sent them back. Received over cooked eggs this time with the yolk not even runny. They do not butter the toast, but have frozen butter in the table. Bacon was also over cooked to the point of being burnt. We asked for the manager and waitress said there wasn't one working at the time. We have tried this place numerous times since they opened, but every time we either get horrible food or horrible service. Once we got seated at our table we waited 15 minutes for a menu and our drink order. Wasn't busy at all, and we tried to get the attention of different waitresses and they all just ignored us, so we left.
