I have had the tanger app forever and there are always coupons and such so I pulled it up and there was a weekend promotion going on and it was the last day. I tried to use it and instead of trying any of them, the manager just said that only the lesser one worked and it wouldn't work on clearance... which is expected. I asked why the lesser coupon would work but not the larger one and he said New Balance doesn't really like to participate in the tanger deals because they're more of an elevate brand and don't like to be associated with coupons. Last I checked, we were at a "factory store" in an outlet mall so discounts is the name of the game here. I wasn't looking for anything extra, I just want to make sure that if there is a discount available, I'd rather not pay extra or to be made like I'm a cheapo for trying to do so. I've never understood that with retail workers in a corporate store... like, the money isn't going into your pocket, why wouldn't you try to get the customer a better deal? I like the fit, not so much the quality and much less the customer service. I was recently at the store in Raleigh and I could see a lot better inventory than the Outlet and the employee at the outlet said they can't compete with the stores and they carry only the "lemons" however the prices aren't any lower at this place to make me go back.

I also noticed the thick fabrics that came in a variety of creative textures, I think the designs are pretty nice overall. Some of the items were a bit pricy, or maybe they are comparable to other athletic wear stores now that I think about it. I tried on a pair of the compression style athletic pants/work out pants and the material was very thin, I felt like every square inch of my body was on display, they were comfortable but the material was not what I was looking for, a female sales agent advised me that this particular fabric was new, and she guided me over to the fabric that was a bit thicker, more modest and ultimately more flattering. It was a few dollars more expensive but well worth it. The store was very neatly organized and though I had to seek out assistance, when looking for a dressing room, and when looking for another style of pants, the staff was professional and met my needs. I would return because I really liked some of the styles, colors and fabrics.
