Mushroom omelette, sourdough toast, greens on the side.

Great breakfast at Farmhouse Kitchen today. Latte. Mushroom omelette with a Greens side. Delish. Cute, rustic setting inside. Friendly staff. Order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table with a smile. Five stars.

The lattes and cute decor were the only redeeming features of this establishment. We were highly disappointed after having this on our list of want to visit places. Here are some of the reasons for our disappointment: 1. Hospitality is significantly lacking! There is little to no warmth of personality in the workers. No smiles no guidance for taking orders of someone who professes it's their first time visiting. No one followed up to see if we wanted to or needed anything else after our food was received. They didn't even bother asking if everything was okay. Customer service has no personality nor a dedication to excellence. 2. To order/pay/ attain a menu, you must navigate and stand in line on steps which will be difficult for customers who may have disabilities or mobility difficulties. 3. High chairs are stored in the bathroom along with the toilet and other items for storage. This is quite disgusting as when toilets are flushed, particles are sprayed into the air and then will come to rest on the high chairs where patrons put their children to eats. Gross. 4. I specifically asked during the placement of my order if the sausage was spicy/peppery and was told "no", so I ordered it, only to have both myself and the other person in our party agree that it was spicy/had a kick. No syrup was provided either. 5. The toast was so hard it was like a rock and I never was provided with the jam that is clearly indicated on our receipt, and I was charged an additional fee for- nor did anyone come over to check on us or offer to bring it. Again poor service! 6. The floors and displays were dusty and boasted cobwebs. Observing staff clearing plates from tables I noticed that tables and chairs were not wiped/sanitized between customers. There are additional concerns we had about our first visit here, but I'm sure you get the idea. It is extremely rare that I leave poor reviews, but this one stood out and can't be overlooked. Just highly disappointed and I would never recommend this place, except for maybe a coffee to go, but nothing more. Save your time and money and visit elsewhere to avoid wasting it and leaving in a state of disappointment.

We just enjoyed a great breakfast here. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I got a pesto grilled cheese (added bacon) which looks really small, but loaded with flavor and made with the best ingredients. It came with a side. I chose hummus with veggies- yum. My guy got the oatmeal. we also got 3 drinks; Latte, cortado, and an energy smooth. We also tried the lemon blueberry muffin thus all equaled $65. Well worth it. Staff is top notch and the atmosphere is clean and cute!

Excellent, tiny gem serving lots of gluten free and vegetarian options with friendly service. You order at the register, get a number and your food is brought out to you. One note would be that there is no accessible way to order as a step is required. Parking is on the street but we were able to find a spot within a block or so. Overall, the experience was excellent and we would be back.

Eggs Benedict with hollandaise on the side. Exceptional.

Passing through the area and decided to try this place on a Sunday late morning. It caught us a little off guard that it was so small and the order at the counter process was interesting. It all seemed to flow well though. There are like 7 tables in the whole place but they seem to turn pretty quickly. Food was excellent. Eggs were obviously farm fresh with those beautiful dark yolks. The bread was also fresh and delicious.

Oats, 2 types of quinoa, red corn for popping, cinnamon, nutritional yeast, brown rice, red lentils, ginger and extract.

We stopped here on our ride through PA and we are happy we did. While I loaded my cart with bill kitchen essentials, my husband ordered a few subs which were the best subs I've tasted in a really long time. To be completely honest, I usually stay away from sandwiches. I had one bit of my turkey and pepper jack sub and just keep eating! The ingredients were fresh and quality. I forgot to take pictures of the subs but did get a picture is my groceries.

This place is GOOD. I had the black bean burger and it was delish! Topped it off with a snickerdoodle latte to satisfy my sweet tooth.

No misses on any of their meals, though the sweet cream pancakes are a particular standout, as are the bananas foster French toast with orange brandy (!!!). Huge portions. Plus, on weekdays they hand out complimentary mimosas. My only possible complaint is the access to condiments. The coffee does not automatically come with cream, and it's not on the self-serve shelf with the sugar packets. Likewise, the toasted English muffins do not come buttered and they don't ask about whether you want it at the register. So sometimes you have to get up multiple times to ask for the basic things. Service is friendly and prompt and I LOVE that the music is chill jazz and piano. It's a great environment to meet up with friends or even to bring your laptop and work for an hour. It does get pretty busy at peak times in late morning (like 10-11:30 am) but they have a really nice patio out front that will double the table space once the weather warms up.

My husband and I thought we'd try this for our post-Valentine's day breakfast. We ordered 2 large coffees; 2 eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns; breakfast pizza; and French toast. We wanted to try everything! It cost more than $50!!! And what made that costs so outrageous is that while the food was good, it wasn't anything above diner food quality food where I could have gotten everything for less than half that price. The food was good, but not worth all the extra money spent. The staff was all very friendly and amicable. The service as incredibly fast-- I was shocked it arrived so quickly. The venue was very clean and had cute cafe vibes. Self service to pick up your coffee accoutrements and you needed to clean off your own table space at the waste bin. Despite the price, I'd like to come back in the spring so I could sit outside at the nice cafe tables and try a lunch choice. Glad I tried it to speak to it but I'll stick to my diner quality breakfasts for diner prices.

When you walk in it's pretty busy, I went around 12:00 p.m. the wait time was about 30 minutes. I was with my friend, so we went back into the car and waited in there because there is not a lot of space in the lobby area and it seemed a little claustrophobic in the lobby. When we finally came in I wanted to order the western omelette and substitute the ham for steak and I found out that it will be an additional $12 on top of the meal price and or the chicken would have been $6 more. I decided to go with the veggie omelette. The food was pretty decent I would say it's like an upscale diner feel with a Mexican flair. It has many Mexican inspired dishes as well. The dishes have a nice presentation for the most part. I think I would come back again, it wasn't too bad for two people it was about $40.

That Hollandaise! I…read morerecently visited Wyomissing Restaurant and Bakery with two companions, and we had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is a bit more upscale than your average diner--everything was impeccably clean, and the ambiance was very pleasant. My friends both opted for the "All You Can Eat Buffet," which I understand is what this place is famous for (especially on weekends!). Their plates were packed, and the fact that they both went back for seconds speaks for itself--they loved it. I went with the Norway Benedict, and I was honestly blown away. It featured two perfectly poached eggs and smoked salmon on English muffins with a very generous serving of Hollandaise sauce, accompanied by a side of home-fried potatoes. The presentation was beautiful, the taste was excellent, and I truly can't think of a single thing that would have improved the dish. Service Highlights: * Attentive Staff: Our server was great--present when we needed drink refills but never intrusive. * Efficiency: They were quick to clear empty plates rather than letting them sit on the table, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Located a bit out of the way in the Flying Hills golf course, but worth the drive. Sports bar- Eagles vibe w/ a decent draft list. The kegs weren't working (seems to happen at every bar we attend these days) but still enjoyed a Mike & Merrill Philly Hazy IPA. Wings a good size, crisp, you know, the way wings used to be before everyone started charging an arm & a leg & serving broken pigeon wings. Classic "Buffalo" sauce & blue cheese dressing were good. FINALLY tried famous Caramel Burger (which I missed several times at the Hamburger festival). It did not disappoint. Good size, flavorful patty, & what these people do best- the bacon jam & caramelized bacon. The sweetness of the onions sings thru. Order it! Husband ordered seasonal special Frikadellen/Bratwurst Smash Burger. Skipping right to it- the cottage fries. (Gracie's/Louie's if you had this all the time we'd have no beef! LOL) INCREDIBLE! Crisp, thin, tender, amazing. If you follow me you know I am over the frozen fries served at every eatery in this country. Finally, amazingly pleasant, genuinely happy, server- Reese.
