I have passed this cafe probably hundreds of times and never knew it was there. A hidden little gem in Ephrata for sure! My kiddos and I order food and drinks. I would recommend to friends & family in the area! The staff (including owner) were beyond friendly and the food was delicious. Don't let those 1 star reviews fool you. This cafe is a gem hidden in a strip mall. The decor, lighting, and furniture are so bright and clean and relaxing. They have a variety of seating options available inside including high top tables, couches, barstools, etc. They sell some small business items along with their food and ice cream. I stopped in for a black iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. There was no line and I was helped immediately. My sandwich was out in about 5 minutes and the coffee was brought to me shortly after I paid. The coffee was smooth - not bitter at all. The sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel was massive. They handed me one napkin with it and I was glad I grabbed a few extras. You're going to have a mess on your hands (literally), but the flavor and quality is top tier. This would be a great place to work a few hours remotely. I'll be back, for sure. read more

A waste of time and money. When I originally walked in, I thought "how cute." The vibe was good, but the female employee behind the counter, had some gruffness to her (like she didn't want to be there), but another employee, who delivered our food, was kind and when I asked for additional dressing; she happily supplied it. The food was below mediocre. I chucked the soup; it was that bad. A tomato based vegetable soup, scant veggies and broth, weak, weird and bin worthy. Chicken tasted microwaved and not fully cooked, too much of that spring mix. I felt as if I were eating grass with an undercooked Perdue, frozen chicken patty. read more

Really cute little spot. The woman working the front register was really sweet and we ended up buying some coffee (Iced latte with toffee syrup) and a bagel. Both were really good and as a new yorker that asiago cheese bagel was insanely good!!! We peeped around and discovered the ice cream and got 2 scoops at 11 AM. BUT let me tell you- this ice cream was incredibly delicious, it was soft and really good quality. The salted caramel was to die for!!!!! I will definetly be coming back here when I'm in the area. 10/10 recommend this place! read more

The selection is perfect to make anyone on our team happy and the care they put into each order is spectacular! Very cute! This used to be a frozen yogurt place, which the new owners still offer, but have incorporated a café offering lunch and dinner. Located at the end of the strip mall, it can be easily overlooked. My husband and I went over lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The Classic Burger was served on a soft brioche bun with lettuce and tomato. My husband had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap on a jalapeno wrap and was also more than satisfied. Service was very friendly. Let me start by saying the coffee and breakfast here are delicious. It is the service I have an issue with. I've been in person a few times both early morning and afternoon and it's always a little slow. In order to help with this, I decided to place an online order one morning. After complete I was told it would take 30 minutes for my latte and wrap. I got in my car and headed their direction which is 15 minutes from my house. I was greeted with an empty room. Soon someone came out from the back and when I gave my name I was told my order says 9:30. They hadn't even started making it. I patiently waited in the lobby all by myself when the employee went to the back room again. Once my order was complete, I was handed a bag and told next time I should read the time on the order. It was supposed to be 9:30 and I was early. Am I not allowed to show up early? I wasn't complaining? The product is delicious, but there are a handful of other artisanal coffee shops in the area that have good coffee and provide quick friendly service. If Starbucks can have my order along with 50 other people ready in 10 minutes, I see no reason for you to be rude to me when you've had 30 minutes to prepare my order without complaint from me. Love chilling out here!! I came here, bought a bunch of different menu items and with the scenic building got a lot great shots to edit. I included some of the pictures of my favorite coffee drink on the menu the Carmel macchiato! If your looking for a place with amazing food and just a calm vibe. I would always suggest this location! There is only one issue I have and that is they aren't open in the early morning. Even if they just open as a coffee shop. I would enjoy getting a nice cup of coffee in the morning around 7, and then working there for the morning. but they don't open until 11 read more

SOO YUMMY!! the prices are great for frozen yogurt and most food. Frozen yogurt is not weighed and pretty cheap compared to most frozen yogurt places and I think this is the best tasting! The loaded fries are also super good and I am looking forward to trying more food from here! read more

Beware! Don't visit this cafe within the last half hour and order anything to eat. When it comes time to close, you may be asked to leave and eat the balance of your food outside. Our group had that experience this evening even though the restaurant was made aware that our group would only arrive 15 minutes prior to their closing time. When closing time came we were kindly asked to leave and finish eating outside. One of couples was a husband-wife where the husband has difficulty with mobility. He was quite upset that he was being told to "get out". His words were "what kind of place is this?" BTW, our group of 12 persons decided to end a two-hour evening service project with ice cream at the nearby Tin Roof Cafe. I will not recommend we go back the Tin Roof Cafe after how rudely we were treated. read more

The service was not very well, as I could feel that they were getting a bit snappy with me. I ordered two things a hot matcha tea and a frozen yogurt. If you go, don't make the mistake of getting the matcha tea, they didn't mix the powder in properly, so when I drank it, I could taste the powder, from what I saw it was just hot milk and matcha powder, nothing else added. This place is a hidden gem!!! My Grandmom and I had lunch here the other for the first time, and I have to say I only have positive things to say about this place. We walked in and it was clean, cozy, low key, and welcoming. We both ended up ordering the cloister Cobb salad, though they had some really interesting and tasty sounding sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and soups, but the salads did not disappoint. They were really nice sized portions and absolutely loaded with toppings, so much so that they spilled out of the bowls a bit! Anyways, I also got a delicious latte, and the sweet barista even added two different flavors and did almond milk for me. We didn't get any ice cream or frozen yogurt, but the prices were VERY reasonable and the selection of frozen yogurt, toppings, and hand dipped ice cream all looked exquisite! Never order the jumbo dawg. The service was on the slower side. And the ham and Swiss had too much meat and now enough sauce.

Staff was very pleasant and attentive. We ordered the big dawg and fries . They were very tasty. The ice cream we had after was good too!!

PEANUT ALERT !!! Parents out there.. I have severe allergies to peanuts.. all nuts. I stood there and told the person behind the counter that this was my first visit. I told her that I am allergic to all nuts. I noticed straight away that all nut items where intermixed with the other toppings. I should have asked them to charge me less as the only "safe" topping was in the syrups or hot fudge. My husband ordered choc chip cookie dough.. no nuts. ONLY to bite into my icecream and it be PEANUT BUTTER !!! I took something immediately. I also asked to speak to the manager .. she was in a hurry .. or that is what she was saying. I told her what happened. She seemed not to really care one way or the other. I was angry about that. I said to her, WHAT IF I WAS A CHILD ? So.. parents out there.. beware. AND they will ask you if you want your icecream replaced as if that was the answer. $10 bucks for a seasoned hamburger that I could not eat as I do not care for seasoned hamburger meat as I get a migraine. So... long story short.. HAPPY NEW YEAR's EVE to me. Hives, Exhausted, Shortness of breath... Epi pen $40 bucks for that .. and add my lost $6 for the icecream.. I am out $56.00 bucks. I could add the cost of my husbands meal and icecream as that blew his night.. so round that to $70 lost.. BUT.. get this, I purchased a gift card of $20 as we have a habit of doing this for self employed folks. Total loss $90 .. and I thought it was me because that is how my mind rolls, my fault for ruining New Years Eve.. no.. not this time. They saw my service dog. I told them of my allergies. Their fault. I hope the next person in line does not have allergies, I hope they are not a child. I hope the manager that was in too much of a hurry to actually listen to me. I hope she reads this and listens now. NUT allergies cause those that have one hardship, shallow breathing, hives, headache, exhaustion, the list goes on. This time around I have not had to go to the ER in order to breathe. HAD I continued to eat this icecream, as child would have.. the ER would have been asap. I know that. I will not be able to eat here again. I have PTSD.. not being able to breathe on command triggers my anxiety. I am always scared to try new places, now I remember why. read more
