I tried to pay for my meal with two different MasterCard's, and their pay system charged them to my card as pending but the restaurant said that they had not been paid yet. I had to walk to an ATM machine get cash which cost me three dollar service fee And return and pay them in cash. I still have two amounts pending on two different cards and the woman there said everybody else's cars were working so it must be something wrong with my cards. However, they were fine at the ATM unless you're paying cash I wouldn't go here on the plus side the burger was pretty good. read more

Meh. That was my opinion after visiting. The decor is neat, but the food was nothing to rave about. I got garlic wings and onion rings. The onion rings were just ok. Not bad but not the best either. Tasted like like something prepackaged and cooked up. The wings were gross--couldn't even finish the few I ordered. Like the rings, the wings themselves tasted like prepackaged, frozen chicken and didn't have a great starting flavor. Then, the wing "sauce" was pretty much just oil/butter with a little garlic in it. No real flavor, just oil. I'd like to say it was just a one-time mistake, but my daughter had visited a few weeks prior and had the same report about the wings. On the other hand, my wife had a Philly Cheese Steak that was actually decent. So maybe just avoid fried foods and wings and you'll be ok. For me, we'll probably just stick with any of the other American/BBQ spots in town as they offer the same items with more consistent quality. read more

I ordered dinner to-go for 4 people and was so disappointed in it all. The burgers were so undercooked we ended up throwing most of them away. The parts we did eat were underseasoned. The sides were okay but just that. The Buffalo wings we ordered barely had sauce on them. I will not be back. read more

Just took my two daughters here for lunch to celebrate my youngest getting her permit today. Took several minutes to even be greeted and provided menus. Server did not greet with a smile. She took our drink order. My youngest wanted hot coco. She brought my water and other daughters coke and told my youngest that her hot coco would retrieved when she asked for it. Mind you, we never asked for a delay in it being served to begin with. No water was offered for her either. I got up to go to the counter to ask for appetizers while she was grabbing two of the drinks. One of those app were fried green beans. No description on the menu at all. We've had fried green beans at dozens of places and they are pretty much the same across the board. These arrived and were extremely spicy. The breeding itself was spicy. We tried to eat a few and collectively decided they were too hot for us. The server came back a while later to take our actual meal order and I asked that these be taken off our bill as there was no description on the heat and we could not eat them. She apologized and took the basket. We also ordered a burger, sweet potato fries. BLT, two types of wings. The garlic bone in wings had a spoiled smell, we've gotten garlic wings from many places and never experienced this smell so this was not the garlic. We asked for boxes and packed up. I sent my youngest up to the counter to pay as a ticket was never brought to us. She handed me back the receipt and the green beans were still on the ticket. I asked the server about it and she immediately had a defensive attitude with me and stated that technically we ordered them and it wasn't their fault we didn't like them. She didn't even come back to our table to update me that refunding wasn't in their policy and she took the beans away so we literally got nothing. Had I known I would have still had to pay for them, I would have taken them home to my husband. We won't be back. Horrible service. Limited or absent product descriptions. No communication. Prices are way to high. Placed and order and total was double what the online menu said. Food was decent with cheap prices beforehand, now it's low quality food for an astronomical price. Easy decision to never eat here again. Incredibly disappointing. read more

Placed a catering order 1 month in advance, confirmed twice including one day before and when I arrived was told twice my food would be put in 15 minutes. When pressured after the second put-off, I was told they could not find my large order. Was completely horrified. Then I gave them an immediate need since I had a party waiting on this food. I paid full price, they did not offer a discount even though I was there waiting for an hour. Hopefully I never have to go back to Bolivar again. read more
