I took pottery in high school and college and I must say I learned more about ceramic art in my first three hour class than in all my years in school. Both Heidi and Charlotte are accomplished artists and very skilled teachers. TealNest is a place you can go to learn about ceramic art in a very small group setting (6 or fewer students) or buy studio time and do your own thing, or both! We hadn't seen each other in almost a year, so it was the perfect excuse to catch up while doing something creative. The event was simple and fun. We picked our magnets, selected our paint colors, grabbed some pastries, and spent the next couple of hours painting and chatting. It was such a relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning. Stefani was fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. The entire space felt warm and inviting, even for complete beginners. I love that they also offer beginner pottery classes, which I'm already adding to my list for a future visit. It's great to see a pottery studio opening in the area, and I'm excited to support a local business that's bringing creative experiences to the community.
