They showed up on time, packed my kitchen and moved me out of the house in about 5 hours, then drove 1.5 hours to the new house and unloaded in another 5 hours. They helped me adjust where furniture looked better, put down rugs, assembled my bed, and even took off a door I wanted removed. Spoke to Sheldon. He explained how they worked so there were no surprises. They called a couple times before arrival and communicated very well. The movers were quick and professional. They worked hard the entire time. The only only con was that I was initially told that they did help with the packing of boxes. Sheldon mentioned that they did have one job before coming to my place, but could help with whatever they needed. On moving day, they told us that they didn't help with the packing and strictly moved boxes. So that put us behind. They also underestimated the amount we had. It took 2 half days and 3 trips. But for the third move, I didn't hear back and assumed they were busy (it was a busy moving week) so I rented a uhaul and did it myself. Overall, the best moving company I've worked with and would totally hire them again (although I hope this is the last move I'll ever do!) read more

Shelton is a great entrepreneur who took the time to tell me about his company. He was very communicative scheduling the move day, and was very responsive over text. I had 6 movers load my house into the trailer, so I requested 4 movers to unload, just to be safe. Brett and Brandon showed up and they were so fast and efficient. They were crazy strong, because they didn't seem to have trouble with moving anything. They even moved my 8 foot unwieldy couch into the living room without the help of the 2 extra guys. It took 6 guys to load that thing into the trailer in Los Angeles. Everything went without a hitch. Shelton followed up with an error on the invoice, which he diligently fixed. Honest mistake. I had a move and was disappointed.  I had an upright piano and said I had 2 people who could help so we were told they could handle.  There was no tools/straps available and now I'm having to call a different moving company last minute. They did not have masks or offered and I have immune compromised people around. I needed to keep room and was very unimpressed with the skill level. They were nice, but put couches over wheel wells so it scratched the base and didn't use the space effectively, you will see the couches and other furniture didnt use the 36 blankets I had.  I paid the base fee of $250 and was told they were available for 85 an hour after that.  I said great, I could use them for probably closer to 3 or 4.  They had to go after 2.5, so again had to have someone else come and help.  Just seemed like I could have hired someone for $15 an hour off Craigslist and got the same thing.  Heres a pic of the way the truck was loaded.  I ended up rearranging a lot of stuff. In the end, it just felt like a paid a lot and didn't get what I needed. read more

Best customer service EVER. They showed up on time to move my daughter from her apartment into a storage facility than showed up on time to move her from the storage facility to her new apartment. This was by far one of the easiest contracting and execution with a moving service that I've experienced in a very long time. Shelton answered the phone right away and helped me out when I needed to have an estate cleared out quickly (like same day). Cons) They don't read boxes and as such, your items end up in random locations on the other end of your move, They don't know how to pack-one of them put a cactus plant, sideways, wrapped in bubble wrap in a box then packed things on top of it, Breakage-we had many things broken, not detail oriented-many things were left at our former home that were supposed to be moved, They don't do in person estimates this our move took twice as long and cost twice as much, they were late on moving day and brought a trailer they were warned would not fit in our driveway, thus backed up moving three hours and had them renting a UHaul. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Very disappointed-would not recommend. If you have a high end move, look elsewhere. Probably good for apartments and dorm moves but not large homes. read more

Just moved to Flagstaff from Portland, OR. Expected help on this end, and had none. Decided to try doing it myself. I'm an aged, disabled vet, that has spent the last 20 years at around 250 foot elevation. I was sucking wind and not getting a thing done. As far as I'm concerned, Flagstaff Moving Company is the only moving company to consider in Flagstaff. When Shelton provided the estimate, I let him know that I thought two hours labor on each end might not be enough and that I was prepared for more labor hours in the move. The two movers showed up promptly at 6:00 am, and had the entire house loaded into the trailer by 7:30. These guys are strong! Prompt, hard working, professional, friendly, and extremely careful. Not one scratch or mishap. They seemed to enjoy themselves while they worked. Until now, I had associated moving with stress, and have been overcharged in the past. My wife and I hired Flagstaff moving company to help us unload our 26ft moving truck into our new condo after we drove it across the country from New Jersey. I was able to coordinate the unloading via phone with no trouble and the pricing information I was given was transparent and fair. Two young gentlemen wearing clean crisp "Flagstaff Moving Company" shirts showed up at our new place promptly at the agreed upon time, took a few minutes to look around the house and truck, and then got to work. They were both incredibly nice, hardworking, and treated our stuff with respect. We had most of our boxes labeled with the location in the house which they carefully adhered to, and they asked where to put things we hadn't labeled. The unloading process included moving several heavy pieces of furniture upstairs and these guys handled it incredibly well. We'd had a different company load our truck in New Jersey and I asked them to point out any damaged furniture they came across which they were careful to do. We used Flagstaff Movers to empty a 1700 sq/ft home and move some things to a storage unit and others to our current garage (both were 45 minutes way). So, it was a bit complex. They were fantastic and professional in their work. They work very fast, but take very good care of your items. I would highly recommend them for any type of move you have, small or large, across town or across the state. They really are genuinely great guys and hard workers.... A good thing to see these days. On January 30, 2018, Flagstaff Moving Company moved our furniture from storage into our recently purchased home in Forest Highlands. It was a great experience. They went way beyond what was expected and even came back a few days later to pick up some additional boxes that we had finished unpacking. Terrible management. I have used this company for 2 moves and they have messed both of them up. The first move, the owner, Shelton, called me days before the move to reschedule because he double booked me and wasn't insured out of state. My move could not be rescheduled so he sent 2 guys in a uhaul and nothing was insured. The second move, Shelton told me he only had 2 guys available so would come back another day with 4 guys to finish up moving the piano. When I tried to schedule the piano to be moved I was then told that they were treating it as an entirely new move apart from the first job and charging me for a second move. $300 for the first move then $300 to come back for the piano. I called to file a complaint and could not speak with Shelton and only got his rude wife on the phone who told me that I need to be "willing to work them on the price." I was already being more than flexible by allowing them to finish up the job at a later date. There is no reason why I should need to work with them on a price. This company is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend. read more
