We had a new pellet stove installed by Fireplace Showcase and were very happy with their customer service. Mike and Brett installed a Quadrafire pellet insert, and although the installation went smoothly we were not happy with the stove itself. We don't know if it was a lemon from the factory, or something else was wrong with it, but it just was not producing heat and was making a very loud noise. We have other pellet stoves and so we knew this was not normal. The day after the installation I went back into the store and spoke with the service manager and the general manager, who were very understanding. They immediately sent a technician out to the house, who looked at the stove to see if there was a problem. He switched out the control panel and said to wait to see how it performed. The next day, it was still not working to our expectations and so I went back into the store to speak with someone. Kyle, the general manager, was very understanding, and we came to an agreement to take the Quadra fire out and replace it with a Harman. Although we were surprised by the disappointment we had with the original stove, Fireplace Showcase personnel, including our sales person, Inez, the technicians who came to the house, the service manager, and the store general manager were all polite, helpful, and willing to work with us. The customer service we received was outstanding. We were very nervous that spending thousands of dollars on a new, seemingly top-of-the-line pellet stove was going to end in bitter disappointment. However, we were able to come to a resolution quickly, and we have been very happy ever since. The new pellet stove has been great, Very quiet, and keeping us warm all winter. This is an update to my review on 5/7/2025. I upgraded their rating to 5 star from 1 star due to the follow-up of Kyle Titsworth. After reading my complaint he contacted me to inform me that they wanted to rectify my complaint about a rod being installed through the center of the chimney liner, which prevented it from being cleaned. You guys plugged in a homemade extension cord, Which is just some electrical wire that belongs in a wall or something with a plug attached to the end. Totally unprofessional... and unplugged my furnace when you installed The fireplace unit. I don't even think that's legal. Secondly the installation charge was close to $4000. One of the units required 1 hole to be drilled. That's all. 1 hole. Everything else was done. The gasoline was there, all you guys had to do was drill one hole for the exhaust and it cost me $1500 for that. That should cost $450 max. It was unskilled labour anyone can do with an hour training. You overcharge me by at least a $1000. You want to make it right? Cut me a check. read more

Their quote was by far the best plus we got more, like a real nice remote. The salesman Brenden was great, showing us options that fit our budget. The installation was when they told us it would be. Exactly on time. Both installers were real gentleman Isaiah and Mathew were a great team and we really appreciated there tutorials on how the fireplaces worked and the remote instruction. We've had issues with drafts blowing out the pilot of our gas fireplace. Alan Pomprowicz came out to address today, and quickly identified a solution. Alan installed a shield to help prevent future drafts from blowing out the pilot. I purchased my pellet stove from Fireplace Showcase about a couple of years ago and Inez the Sales Manager was great and installation went great and no complaints at all. My stove stopped working so I called to scheduled service and a young girl answers the phone and asked a bunch of detailed questions over the phone to troubleshoot. Ultimately had to wait for a service technician to come to check out which took about a month which in my opinion is too long where if it was my primary heat source I would have been pretty cold for the month. However, we have oil heat and I understand most businesses today have staff shortages so this is not my complaint. The technician gets here and immediately checks out the module in the stove which received a signal from the hand held thermostat where the batteries were dead. Short story is that I spent $165 to have batteries changed (which I actually supplied) and I question why they have some dimwit girl answering the service line who is not a technician and has no clue where if there was someone who had actual knowledge they could have easily walked me through changing the batteries. read more

5 stars is not nearly enough for the team at Fireplace Showcase! My husband and I we looking for a playset for our triplets but we had a hard time with the Coronavirus epidemic. Many places were sold out. It was a blessing in disguise forsure! One of our triplets is blind and Kyle from Fireplace Showcase from our first conversation until installation was extremely knowledgeable and understanding of our situation, he was even able to make some adjustments which made it adaptable to her needs and that is just something you wouldn't get buying from a big box retailer or Amazon! With NE weather Kyle always kept in close contact when he seen rain in the forecast and got us in as soon as we had a clear day. On installation day they came on time and got it up and going in no time. We are thankful for Kyle and his entire team for their help making this possible for our family and our daughters limitations...as soon as he was done her nurse brought her to the playset and without any problems she was able to climb right up with the adjustments that were made! I was very disappointed with the service we received after our fireplace was installed. My mother paid almost $9,000.00 for a fireplace to be installed in her in-law set up when it was being built. The Fireplace Showcase sent in their crew, they spoke with the contractor directly and told him what needed to be done. They told us they would not install the fireplace unless the work was done correctly. I was totally good with that. Then, they came and looked at it and deemed it okay to install. A couple of months later when my mother leaned against the wall above the fireplace and almost got burned, we called the Fireplace Showcase. They sent someone out and again said everything was fine. A couple of months later we called again because we were concerned about a fire, this time we were told to immediately shut it down and they sent someone out to repair it. However, they now say they are not responsible for repairs, it was the contractor. I relied on them and their expertise to safely install a fireplace and stand behind their work. The salesperson came to look at our fireplace to make sure we would be able to have the fireplace installed. Paid $75.00. He said it was a go. The installers came, told us they couldn't install the fireplace. The reason they gave us wasn't the same one they gave the company/salesperson and was told we should have informed them. We're not the professionals they are or they're supposed to be. If what was told to the company by the installers is true the company should have brought it up. Either they didn't want to do the job or they don't know how to do the job. When we called the company the female at the counter tried blaming us. We were told we would be getting a call back but it's been days without anything from them. So, that's where we're at now. We had a great experience at the Fireplace Showcase. It all started with several visits to the store, where a lady called BJ gave us excellent advice. We then had an in-home consultation with one of their engineers, who went over everything with us. There was never any pressure to buy anything, and we felt they genuinely wanted us to get the right stove that suited us. In the end, we opted for the Vermont Castings Intrepid. The date was set for install. The engineer turned up on time and within four hours it was all done. It all looks great. They explained everything to us and then cleaned up before they left. The City of Providence permit inspector visited and said what a great job it all was. So, we found the staff professional, friendly, and very experienced. We would recommend them to anybody.
