Great little hole in the wall join with a great menu selection and drinks galore. We had a gift certificate and stopped in on a Monday night where fried chicken was the special. The hubs had fried chicken and asked for thighs only and they were kind of small but perfectly crispy. His serving of mashed potatoes was smaller than mine (but I didn't mind sharing). I went for the open faxed tenderloin sandwich and mashed potatoes and it was really good (and big enough for leftovers!) Service was a bit slow for the place being dead but we wee not in a hurry so no biggie. Our bill with 2 dinners and a beer was less than $25 (the value of your GC) so it's very reasonably priced. This place is probably one of my favorite bars I have ever been to. The food is AMAZING, The environment is so welcoming and always going above and beyond when it comes to the service. Can't say much negative about the place other than I could do without the smoke, but then again, that goes for all bars so I still don't consider that to count on anything negative to them because the food, service, music and entertainment is always good and continues to get better. Hope this place never goes away. & no, I am actually not an alcoholic...barley ever drink, so that should say just in itself how great this bar is at everything else to keep bringing me back just for some good times and dang good food! only reason i would come back is my amazing waitress Angie. I ordered the $19.99 steak special cooked rare and when I received it the steak was cooked through with a pink tinge. my waitress was there and said is that cooked ok? I told her it was far from rare and she said she would get me a new steak. a few minutes later the what I'm assuming was the manager or owner LeeAnn came back and argued with me that it was rare and I just had bad lighting where i was sitting and she could take me to the kitchen to show me I was wrong. she then sat the steak in front of me and left. i tried the steak and it was tough with no flavor. other people in my party tried the steak and agreed with me one person couldn't even swallow it. my amazing waitress came back and saw i wasnt eating the steak and offered to take it off my bill and bring me anything else I wanted. I want to say I have never seen a manager argue with a customer as to why they were wrong when they said they didnt like their meal. she didnt even try to appease me. Went in the middle of the afternoon during the week so it wasn't that busy. Our server was friendly and attentive. Ordered and got our food in an acceptable amount of time. The food ( a Ruben and a burger) were amazing. The fries were fantastic as well. The place was clean, decor was awesome and themed within the realm of a dock ( hence the chairs in parts of the bar are like lawn chairs). The pool room has stadium seating which is great for leagues. We will definitely be back for lunch again soon. read more

What a wonderful surprise! Fantastic selections and low very affordable prices. I had the breakfast bowl. The sausage gravy was really good, eggs cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were made fried from baked potatoes. The home fries were so good! My husband had the ham steak and eggs. He said the ham was so tender and eggs were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was true Fishing decor. We hear them talking about shrimp night was tonight. Went out to eat for the 2nd time here trying to give them a second chance. The first time was a call in order told it would be 30 minutes. We live five miles away get there and they informed me they didn't have the item to make my husband's like ok why didn't you call me right back and tell us so we could have ordered something different. This time we went in thinking maybe its better in person. No, the fries where cold the hamburger I ordered was just a cheeseburger when I asked what sauce was supposed to be on it she said oh she must of forgot and just brought over a little tub from the fridge of very runny sauce nothing to put on a hamburger. Unless you want it soggy. My son ordered the chicken fried chicken and had to send it back because there was so much salt on it that he couldn't even swallow it. Now we have been waiting for the check to come for over 10 minutes but to be fair it took them 10 minutes to take drink orders and another 30 to actually bring us food. read more

We tried out The Fishin Dock this morning at the recommendation of some local friends - breakfast was served quickly and was delicious! Fantastic biscuits and gravy, potatoes were wonderful, and so much food for a reasonable price. First off, most restaurants now a days are completely "no smoking" - well not The Fishing Dock... This place is ALL SMOKING. Smokers rejoice, those who want to breath think twice... Second of all, we were there when this place was empty, there were two other groups in there that already had their food (and were now enjoying their after dinner cigarettes). It took at least 45 minutes to get our food, which mainly consisted of burgers. Then, once we finally got our food, it was completely wrong. Telling the server made no difference, she would just look at you like you were an idiot for wanting bacon on a bacon cheeseburger. One in our group just gave up because the server was so horrible. The only saving grace was the burgers were HUGE. We won't be returning to this place anytime soon. read more

I was looking for something to do on a Friday night and figured I would give this place a shot. I had only been a few times and wanted to give the food a try, when we got there I immediately noticed how cramped the space is. I moved into the main dining area, it's very poorly planned out. They provide way more space for the 2 pool table than the customers, also half the seating space is comprised of plastic folding tables and chairs. The overwhelming smell of smoke the the noise level was obnoxious. I went back and sat down by the bar near the entrance...expecting to be greeted and offered a menu soon...10 minutes later...nothing. I can only judge the service based on how quickly they gave me a menu. Oh wait...they didn't, which means I also can't review the food. The place was too small and filled with loud and annoying "regulars"....will not be going back. read more

At fist glance it is a nice concept. But once you are in the door you are confronted with enough cigarette smoke to walk on. So where is the seafood? They have 2 kinds of fish sandwiches and shrimp. The burgers are big and they were good. But way too many curly fries swimming in too much grease. (Shake the grease off those fries!) The red headed waitress was very attentive. The garage band was ok. They seem to cater to pool players. They do have dartboards but they are shoved in a corner with tables jammed up against them. Moving furniture is just too much trouble to play a game of darts. I hope they change things. Take it for what it is Dive Bar. read more

Wouldn't really recommend. Smoky, even in the semi-nonsmoking section. Not very tasteful decor. (Bras hanging on a line across the ceiling). And, the food was not anything to write home about. I had a cheeseburger (the bun was hard, the burger was VERY WELL DONE) and curly fries. While the burger was large and the platter was filled with curly fries - it has to be palatable to appreciate the bounty. read more
