This is the second pole studio I have been to, and out of the two this one is my fave. The overall vibe here is something that everyone could easily get into- right from the first intro class. The lights and layout of the studio are gorgeous. Instructors are all friendly and helpful if you need extra attention. They ensure everyone knows what's going on before going onto the next move. Wednesday intro classes get pretty packed so I Saturday and Sunday intro classes are the way to go for anyone just starting out! I signed up for the Fit Factory via Groupon. I thought, Hmm...acro-yoga. This seems cool. I've been a practitioner of yoga for some years now and thought this would be a fun way to switch up my routine. Well, let me tell you - Acro yoga is awesome! When Dona and Jill (our gurus) demonstrate, they make it look so flawless, so easy, so beautiful. It is, however, not as easy as it looks! But this studio and the people who attend it are so sweet and welcoming. I mean, look at my photo - that was my second class! You might be thinking - I'm not so sure I want to balance on someone's feet (but you're wrong - because it's so fun!) Not only fun, but a great workout to boot. Your arms and legs will be sore, guaranteed. There is a great mix of people who attend the class, from the beginners to the experienced. And everyone helps one another. If there is something you want to try, or work on - that is encouraged here. Really wonderful positive energy and vibes here. This is by all means a judgement free zone where all are welcomed. Earlier this week, I went to take what I thought was a barre class. Turned out to be pole dancing. Whoops! Needless to say, I didn't shy away because I knew that it didn't matter I had't taken this class yet. It was a nice small group and I got in a core workout, though I might have ended up with a few bruises, haha. It is also not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of upper body strength. I'm so happy I've found this place, and have had the opportunity to take some fun, innovative classes. I look forward to trying Lyra (hoop) and anti-gravity yoga as well. If you want to switch it up or break free from your treadmill routine at the gym, this is certainly the place to do it. And maybe, just maybe, I'll see you at the next Acro Yoga class (which meets Sundays from 11:15-12:30 pm, by the way). read more

I came here once years ago to do a Zumba class and I remember it was good, but I just didn't end up sticking with zumba. I was powerlifting for the last few years and decided recently that I wanted to try finding an active hobby that's also more social, and saw some friends that got into aerial slings, hoops, and poles. I was definitely intimidated but signed up with a friend to do the beginner's aerial sling class with Emily today and it was AWESOME! My friend and I both had a great time, worked up a sweat, readily accepted this new challenge with the helpful instruction of Emily who was so sweet and friendly, and gave such clear and easy to understand instructions! I can't give enough praise to this studio. I am originally from Long Island but now live in Arizona. My sister lives in LI and as her maid of honor, I had to plan a Long Island bachelorette party. We did dinner and pole dancing and I am so happy I chose Fit Factory. Ever since the moment I started emailing them even just to inquire, they were so helpful. The night of the party was great. Our instructor, Krystle was above and beyond great! It is so fun because we were able to bring wine and snacks. We were already a little tipsy and just having a ball. Someone in the group twisted her knee very badly mid class. Krystle handled the situation with ease. She even let us stay a Longer because of the time we missed caring for our poor friend! We did not feel rushed at all. I wish Kystle could have just been dancing and in the party with us!! We just loved her. The owner (I believe) even reached out to me about a week after the party to make sure my friend was doing OK. If you are even considering booking this as a bachelorette or birthday party I highly recommend. It is worth every penny. Also, the girls that attended that live in LI are able to attend a free week of classes :) read more

The owner Krystle is absolutely incredible at what she does. I'm very shy when it comes to dancing or movement classes, but the energy at the Fit Factory is super welcoming and non-judgmental. I was able to put aside my self-consciousness after a few minutes and just let myself enjoy the class. It was exactly what I needed to get out of my head and reconnect with my body, something that is not easy for me. The Fit Factory is Amazing. I just went here last weekend for part of my sisters bachelorette party and it was so much fun. We did the 2 hour pole dance class and we all had an amazing time. There were 9 of us girls and the private party was only 250$ - a great price for a great time. They also let you bring drinks and snacks to get the party started. The place is clean and spacious and the instructor was PERFECT. She was fun, funny, professional, extremely talented and beautiful! We started with some stretches and then got into some awesome pole swings and moves. I had no idea how much fun pole dancing could really be until I went. The best part was that we got free passes to go back again, which i will be doing next week for an anti gravity class!! Everything about fit factory is perfect. The entire booking process for the party was quick and easy and went as smooth as possible. The staff is so friendly and i was able to pay my deposit online so i didn't have to go to the location. My best friend finally got me to go with her to a Zumba class and I loved it so much that I went 5 times in a week. I tried Zumba with various instructors and am truly thinking about signing up for a month and going to as many classes as I can because the instructors are awesome and I really enjoyed myself there. The Fit Factory is awesome. I have been enjoying anti-gravity classes there for over six months. I am not flexible, nor do I consider myself super strong. Happily, I have never once regretted attending a class at Fit. The instructors are thoughtful, creative, supportive and possess a wealth of knowledge on the practice. The studio is clean and welcoming; everyone is friendly and kind. The classes are a safe, non-judgmental, no pressure experience whether it is your first time in a hammock or if you are a seasoned flying fit veteran. I have been coming here for 4 years and it by far is one of the best workouts I have ever done. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. The workouts are challenging and never boring I consider this my home away from home. Because I love this particular sport so much I challenged myself to get my pole certification. Not only does it teach pole fitness you are challenged with acro yoga, anti gravity yoga, lyra, hip hop, choreography, amd complete body bootcamp fitness. I started going to Fit Factory a month ago for Antigravity Yoga Classes. I have been ridiculously pleased with every class and instructor and I am very excited to start taking more advanced classes. I would be nervous, but each instructor is so kind and willing to help you learn and grow. It's been awhile since I've been to pole class but I've been recovering from a major surgery. I will be rewarding myself for reaching my goals with pole classes! It's such an amazing class and atmosphere in huge part due to the fabulous instructors. Deanna Altman is my all time favorite but all are great!! I would put pole fitness up against my boxing training anyday!! The workouts are always fun and challenging! There is no judgment no matter what your fitness level, size or age!
