We arrived around 6:00 PM and joined the line to enter. As we got in, our tickets were scanned by fever staff. The usher brought us to our seats in Zone C. Seating is assigned on a first come first served basis in each zone. Our seats were good and had good visibility of the stage. The stage and the auditorium was filled with electric candles that had a warm and flickering glow. About 6:30 PM, the concert opened with Coldplay - Clocks. Then, the Highline String Quartet introduced themselves and talked us through the program. Some of the songs they played were Imagine Dragons - Radioactive, Coldplay - Fix You, Imagine Dragons - Eyes Closed, Imagine Dragons - Bad Liar, Coldplay - The Scientist, and Coldplay - Sky Full of Stars. As we approached the top of the hour, the Highline String Quartet asked the audience to make some noise to see if there were more Coldplay or Imagine Dragons fans. Coldplay won and they played Viva la Vida and did Imagine Dragons - Believer as an encore. The whole concert was a beautiful and magical experience. I was in awe of the music by the Highline String Quartet composed of 3 violinists and 1 cellist. Looking forward to attending more Candlelight concerts! CM Performing Arts Center is located in Lighthouse Commons, a group of businesses along Montauk Highway, and there are plenty of parking spots.

They were attentive and helpful with my guests and treated the both of us very well. They were clear with what they needed us to do for the ceremony, cake cutting, etc., but friendly-I never got a negative vibe from anyone. My bridesmaids and I were also able to get in at 6am to start our make-up & hair. This was all done in the bridal suite-we had enough room for 2 hair stylists, 1 make-up artist and anywhere between 6-12 ppl at a time. (3 of them being small children). The food was delicious! We already knew we'd love some of it from our tasting months before, but we were very happy with it again during our wedding-and so were our guests! We got many good reviews about all of it, the cocktail hour apps & the entrees-many guests said they'd never had such a well cooked & such a large steak at a wedding. We also LOVED the stuffed shrimp, and the braised short ribs were falling off the bone!-very yummy! The bartender was very sweet & knowledgeable, if anyone, including myself, had any questions, she was able to confidently answer them. The wait staff was also great, they took good care of us & our guests-no complaints.:) The view was one of the best parts of the whole day!!! The sun was shining, and we could see across the entire bay, exactly what we wanted. For this reason, I would recommend day weddings at this venue so you could take advantage of the beautiful Long Island scenery & views. This was something our guests raved about! Our ceremony was outside on the grass, just off of the brick patio. The only downside of this and my only complaint overall is that there were golfers playing all day on the immediate, surrounding course. They started before our ceremony, played during our ceremony, and kept playing after. This is no fault of the Mansion because they don't own nor are they affiliated with the course, but it was a little distracting, especially when some people heard a ball being hit during a silent part of the ceremony & also when we were walking around trying to take photos. That being said, the golfers were quiet & respectful and otherwise weren't a problem at all. We also paid the donation to the Maritime Museum to use the dock for photos, it was a great, fun setting! We went with all outside vendors, but none of them seemed to have any issues with anything- the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception all went smoothly. We also had a vintage photobooth and they set up/took down & ran with plenty of space. What was nice was that I also didn't have to worry about having anyone in our wedding party hold onto & hand out all of the vendors' money/tips, Steve took care of all of that for us, which was a huge relief. I would absolutely recommend the Mansion at West Sayville for a wedding or any other event! The space, both inside & out, was beautiful and everything went according to plan & on time. We also loved the fact that the dance floor is somewhat separated from the dining room, but at the same time, it doesn't feel like you're in a completely separate space. There are 2 large doorways & large windows to separate the spaces, so you can still see just about everything, but not have to be out there if you don't want to be or can't.

The food is always good and prepared well. They have plenty of menu choices that would fit everyone's tastes. The wait staff is always friendly and efficient. It's the venue itself that is preventing this place from more stars. They can make small changes that would result in a big improvement. 1) Add lighting in the parking lot. It's super dark-- every time I walk through, I think I might slip on ice and die. 2) Add more spots for photo opportunities. Everyone always looks so nice at these parties, and they don't have any nice backgrounds for pictures, just a small fireplace and a dinky Christmas tree. 3) Add a coat check. I had to hang my coat myself in a small closet, which may or may not have been a storage/utilities closet. This country club would suffice for smaller functions such as company parties, sweet 16s, etc. but I'd consider another venue for more significant events.

The breeze coming from the Marina was very pleasant. Picnic chairs and blankets were scattered around. Food, drinks, live music were the perfect combo. Me and my parents arrived at 3:30 pm. It was packed with people of all ages, and of course, a lot of children were present. Several food trucks were scattered around the park area of the museum. The best empanadas were from Island Empanadas food truck. The shrimp mango empanada were delicious! Moist inside, and the crispy crust was amazing. Let's not forget grilled corn and fresh oysters we're also on my radar. I also enjoyed a glass of summer ale while I was people-watching. It was the best way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon.

Visit Date: Unsure…read more Came here with my husband and son during a rainy day. The museum is pretty small but they have a few different houses dedicated to the maritime history of Long Island. Because of covid you're not allowed to browse the gift shop if there's something you want to buy the museum staff have to show you and if you want to buy it than you can have it and touch it all you want. Got my son a hat. We saw the main museum and the oyster house because certain buildings had doors that couldn't be open due to wood swelling or expansion or something like that. Despite a rainy day the outside views of the water were still pretty nice to look at.
