Joshua Bodiford sent spoke with me on the phone & said the replacement of the inner acreen on my Samsung Fold 5 would be $450 & the part had to be ordered by 6 pm for the part to arrive and to be replaced by that weekend. He asked me if I have CashApp. Then, asked for my CashApp ID info. Suddenly, I received a request for $450. AFTER SENDING the $450, Joshua calles back asking for another $150, which I refused to send. Joshua refused my request for a refund of my $450. Three different people claimes ro be the manager. Had my screen replaced by The Fix, since then the charging port hasn't worked, luckily I have a charging pad at home or I would have really been screwed, finally had a day off of work so went back in a week later and another employee tells me it has a faulty charging port that theres no way it was caused by them and that it'd be $60 more after already spending over $250, this phone never had a problem charging before the screen was replaced and that's not the kind of thing that happens just by coincidence, do not use this place! read more

Don't bring your phone here. Came in for a iPhone 8 screen replacement and left with a motherboard issue. Came in originally on a Monday evening and returned Tuesday with my concerns. Tuesday I spent about 45 minutes with techs who tried to figure out issues by trading screens, batteries, & charging ports. Sent an email to manager to document my issues Tuesday evening -- never got a reply or call back. Today is Friday and "manager" explained that the motherboard issue was 99% my fault and that it wasn't his job to return calls and emails about phone issues... Had no choice after days of no reply to go to apple store and get a new phone. Returned for a refund as directed by store tech but denied by "manager". Not to mention -- original tech who changed screen quoted me 30$ but charged more, kept my old screen replacement kit with tools and was going to recycle them - no sir! These guys were great. Fixed the camera lens that another place had REALLY messed up and saved me from buying a new phone! The guy named Hunter even let me watch what he did right at the counter. He showed me where the other place had put in an aftermarket battery at twice what they would charge for a genuine one. I will definitely bring any future phone repairs to them! read more

Do not risk bringing your phone to The FIX at McCain Mall. We brought two IPhone x's here and paid $130 each to repair screens. Left and went home and the touch screens did not work at all. Went back same day and they supposedly again put new ones on. They lasted about a month and the touch screens stopped working again. They told me because it was 3 days past the warranty that they would not fix them. Terrible owner and manager! Do no waste your money! read more

2 weeks ago, I went to get my iPhone fixed. It wouldn't charge. They checked the battery and said it was fine, then they checked the charging port and said it was spoilt. I paid $65 to have it changed. It started charging after my 2 hour wait. Bought a new Apple charger and charger chord. Next day phone went dark again. Took it back. They said it was coz I bought a faulty charger. They replaced it with a new one. I bought another chord for my daughter. Within 3 days the first chord broke. On the 4th day, the 2nd one broke! ( I normally usually need to replace my chords after at least 5 months) Took them back and complained. The guy seemed to care less about my frustrations...having to miss important calls and drive 35 minutes each time in the past few days about the same issue. He pointed to the NO REFUND poster and said there was nothing they could do about it. After complaining and refusing to leave he grudgingly gave me 2 new chords (not Apple) By the next day both chords broke! ( True story! I kid you not!) By now my phone was still refusing to charge. Finally having enough, I made an appointment with the Apple store. They looked at the phone and said there was nothing wrong with the phone. I just needed a real Apple charger. Bought me a REAL and AUTHENTIC Apple charger and since then my phone's been working perfectly. I will NEVER go back to THE FIX! read more

Customer Service is horrible in this store and their repairs are below standard, hence the comments about "cheapest in town". You really get what you pay for in dealing with electronics. Was originally sold a defective screen for an iPad mini. No issue took back to the store and manager agreed to replace. We took back to the store on 12/26. This screen was supposed to be replaced on the same day. The manager gave my wife the run around for 2 days. I go to the store on today at 5p and sat in the store for 2.5 hours waiting on a screen repair. I filed an official complaint with Simon's staff and will contact BBB and AG. While I was in the store for this extended period of time, no exaggeration or lie I witnessed 3 other customers come into the store with similar gripes and complaints. Surrounding businesses even commented "that store is notorious for messing up people's stuff". Guess you need a "No refund policy" in this case. Avoid at all costs and pay a little extra for better details to service! read more

i've gone to this phone repair shop for YEARS. i went in today because i obliterated my phone for the millionth time and received some of the best service ever! he fixed my phone right in front of me ASWELL as fixing my home button- which previously made the most god awful sound everytime you pressed it or my phone vibrated. he got me in and out in 20 minutes! i always recommend this store to preppie and while i hope i don't need it, i'm sure i'll be back soon enough for yet another phone screen. read more
