Dr. Flinn is over 80 years old and continues to practice. I did not know that when I selected Flinn for my annual mammogram in 2024. I have never had an abnormal test. He marked by test "abnormal" and recommended an ultrasound. I immediately went to Vanderbilt in Nashville where they did a repeat mammogram. The physician who read my study is a PhD/MD with multiple published papers. He 1) told me an ultrasound was unnecessary 2) both of my studies (Flinn's and Vandy's) were 100% normal. Later, I learned from a Memphis health care professional that Flinn over reads most of his mammograms; the gentleman should have retired a decade ago. In addition, I agree with the other patients here who have complained of insurance problems, the rudeness of the women at the front desk, and the negative vibes from this business. There are many good places in Memphis and Germantown to get a mammogram. Please go to them and not George Flinn, MD. read more

No where on the website does it mention that children are not allowed in the clinic. There's a sign on the door that states no children are allowed, that's the only place it's listed. So I drive over 30 minutes only to find out I wouldn't be receiving services that day. I was told it was "doctor's policy". Office experience. I run medical clinics and on my off days obviously must attend to my health and well being as well as that of my children. I am prompt and time driven. I explained my situation and wanting to make an appointment but was brushed off and told it was walk in and quick. Upon my arrival the desk girl assured me that it would be fast even though the lobby and parking lot were full. After waiting for an hour I asked to come back with an appointment time - she told me our slot was next in line and then processed my payment upfront. No worries until she called two other patients before us after promising that we would be moving along quickly- my child had medication in her system and we went to ensure she didn't have =pneumonia- she complained of being nauseous I again informed the front desk of our situation and while I remained to ensure her health I am not happy read more

The Germantown location have the Rudest nurses. I was with my sister on 7/22/2024. She a courier driver, got a pickup at 3:52pm. She was in Southaven MS, driving from Southaven to Germantown locating in rain and heavy traffic. We arrive at 4:33pm safely, my sister keep trying to call the entire drive. Noone answered the phone. Once my sister got their, the door was lock but she could see people inside. Still calling on the phone, so my sister was knocking on the door. After about 5 mins of knocking finally a nurse came to the door. My sister told her, she was there for a pickup. The nurse told my sister, YOU'RE SO RUDE TO BE KNOCKING ON THE DOOR. went for X-ray on Friday 12-20. it is now 12-25 and I am still waiting for the X-ray results to be sent to the doctor. the X-rays were ordered to confirm double pneumonia. so 5 days later still waiting for results and in severe pain. my only option now is to go to the hospital to receive care. The lady who answered the phone was very kind & professional. However once I stepped inside there was a large , grumpy woman who was rude, short, didn't want to assist or answer questions. I had an issue with my referral and instead of trying to help. She kept trying to tell me why she couldn't accept the referral instead of helping me figure out a way she could . She was so rude & u professional the other staff kept apologizing for her. However the rest of the staff was delightful ,kind ,professional & helpful. I just hate that she is the first person you have to deal with when you walk in the door. All it took was a call to the doctor to get them to fax over the referral. Alright, ladies. We all need our girls checked for foreign bodies, yearly after age 35. If you're not at high risk, and you don't want to sit for three hours at Baptist Women's Health, and you only have a couple hundred bucks to spend on a basic digital mammogram or ultrasound... this is the place. Drop in service! The Germantown location was convenient for me, but they have several others, including in midtown in the medical center. It's no fun being topless in front of strangers (okay, at least not when sober), but if you can save money and time by going to Flinn, maybe it'll make next year's visit a little easier. Your results will be sent to your OB/GYN or other physician, and they will convey them to you in two to three days' time. So I needed an exam and was referred to the Flinn Clinic by my doctor. Now let me just say that this clinic has to be the slowest place I've ever been too. The thing that really frustrated me was that I had called the day before and couldn't make an appointment because it is a walk in clinic, at least that is what I was told. When I arrived there today, their parking area was completely full. So I had to park in the hospital right next to it. When I arrived, I saw how busy it was. So I signed in and took a seat as the sign read. The staff at the front desk didn't acknowledge me and it took an hour before my name was called to check in and fill out paperwork. I am unsure why it took that long as I was only number 4 on the list to be called for check in. After I completed the paperwork and was checked in, it took yet another hour before I was seen. Overall, this clinic is really slow. I am unsure if the other locations are quicker, but if I have to use the Flinn Clinic, I would definitely use a different one. However, I will admit that the staff member who performed my exam was very helpful and nice. read more

The absolute worst doctors experience I have ever had. By all means if your doctor refers you here ask to be referred somewhere else. The front desk workers were extremely rude and unprofessional. I've had a lot of diagnostic tests over the years. This practice was the best I've dealt with. I was sent in for an ultrasound of one thing and the technician immediately found the issue in a different structure. Let me know how to proceed. I was able to get in the next day for a biopsy with Dr. Flinn. The doctor and the staff are exceptional. Easy scheduling. Great overall experience! read more

It makes absolutely no sense to not be able to have your partner with you when you go in for an ultrasound. In a hospital, during childbirth, a place that has people open and susceptible to germs and infection, you can still have at least 1 person with you. But I cant have the father of my child in the room for an ultrasound? Just stupid. read more

When I went for my procedure everything was fine people were great and nice andpatient. Here were the problems come. They over charged me that day. I found out when another doctor office tried to charge me for my deductible. So I called and the billing department was passing the phone around like it's a game. That was on 12/17/20. Called back in January and they said my check was on the way. Called back today 2/8/21 on the phone with someone she pretended to not here me and call was disconnected. Called right back she on the phone not with me she didn't even try to give me a call back. And the lie they tell you everytime is the manager is never in the office. They sent me to a generic voicemail. So please be careful with these people with your deductibles and coinsurance. The manager never called me back either. read more

Came here as a referral from my doctor and if I would've known walk-in meant I would be waiting over an hour just to get called to the back I definitely wouldn't have come here. My advice is to find a good doctor for mammograms or any testing provided at this location to get an appointment. They tell you the whole process takes 45 minutes but I waited in the waiting room over an hour and nothing!!! read more

Because of the different options that you have in Memphis - I would NEVER - EVER select this clinic because of their processing process of refunds to Patients that paid up front and did not owe anything. First let me state that I have never, ever owed this clinic any money, ever - I went into Flinn Clinic on April 1st to have an ultrasound, when checking in at the front desk I was told that I needed to pay $175.69 upfront in order to have the test - I stated that I had met all of my deductibles and out of pocket expenses - so I found this amount hard to believe but the lady behind the desk said that this amount had to be paid in order for me to have the test. I wrote a check so that I could proceed with my medical attention (believing that a firm of this size would not have any issues processing refunds) and they processed it through my insurance company immediately. My insurance company paid 100% on April 18th and I waited until April 22nd before reaching out to see when my refund was being issued. I was told by the gentleman in billing that he could see where I paid and my insurance company had paid and that I was due the refund. He also stated that had I not called in, my refund would never have been acknowledged. He said that he would log it into their system and that the "bookkeeper" would cut my refund check. We are now at May 9th, I have called 3 different times and my refund check has still not been cut - and when I call what I hear is well it's only been a few weeks...My refund check should have been cut automatically when they processed the payment from my insurance company. I will probably never receive my refund and I would definitely NEVER recommend this facility!!! BEWARE of this clinic unless you have lots of money to just give away!!! read more

I visited this clinic for a few minutes today. I understand the Covid-19 crisis has everyone in a panic. I entered the building, and there was a huge bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter with a sign over it. The sign asked clients to use before services. I saw this sign. The person at the desk acknowledges me, and asked me to use the sanitizer. I told her I would. I only wanted to ask questions about the services I would receive. They person kept saying to use the sanitizer after I have agreed to use it twice, and telling her I understood. I never even touched anything on the counter. I was standing away from the window myself, because I had witnessed this person clean her nose with a Kleenex, and only use sanitizer on her hands. She should have used soap and water. COVID-19 is a respiratory illness, your nasty nose could have exposed myself and my child to something, including MRSA. I will not be going back to patronize this business. I am asking my physician to refer me to another establishment. read more
