Before he left, he gave me an verbal summary of his results and then followed up within a couple of days with a professional report, complete with photos, charts and recommendations about how to remedy a whole range of issues (mold, humidity, carpeting, staining, etc.) The big surprise was that the mold in my house was within the normal range and did not recommend professional treatment. I can clean it myself with common household cleaners. As I read the one-or-two other reviews that say they had a horrible experience, I wonder if they are actually talking about the same company. Recently we had a problem with some venting pipes that were never sealed and leaked condensation moisture into the insulation and caused ceiling water damage. It was time to make this small repair and patch, but we also decided it was a good time to remove all the blown in insulation and replace with insulation batting. Patrick from Sound Crawls came to do the inspection and gave us a quote for the work we wanted done. In our opinion he did the best inspection of all the businesses that came to give us a quote. He was very flexible, willing to do less, but explained how more could be done to make our attic so much better. We decided to go with his company and our attic now is clean, organized and has storage space that we are rapidly moving things out of our garage into the attic. Now the area is easy to navigate and access remote spots without getting covered in insulation. We are very happy with the results and speed at with the work was done. So, last year we had discovered mold under our kitchen sink and All New Agains team came out that same day and took samples. A few days later the test results came back toxic. Jon Baer was very knowledgeable about the process and very understanding to our situation. He put us at ease with our decision moving forward. I swear, he was a lawyer in another lifetime, lucky us. The same day we signed paperwork we received a text from All New Agains team regarding scheduling a time for the next day. Unfortunately, ANA's team discovered a slow water leak which caused damage under our kitchen floor. The whole ordeal was overwhelming but their communication log definitely helped and was very informative with the process. Three items--a partial curtain rod, crib hardware, and a stepping ladder--went missing after the period their crew had exclusive access to my home. A value of $373.96 from a $41,019.80 bill. I have timestamped photos showing these items being present before work began and during, and missing after their crew finished. Despite providing this evidence and a detailed timeline, the company repeatedly denied responsibility, suggesting the items may have been moved before their arrival, even though we had not lived in the home and no other work had occurred during that time. It makes no sense for us to lose these 3 random items as they claimed when there were much more valuable items in the impacted room. The company promised comprehensive documentation of all items handled for insurance purposes, but what I received was incomplete and inconsistent. Some photos were sent to my husband, and there was no clear record of items removed from certain rooms and where they placed each item in the kitchen. When issues were raised, the company provided shifting explanations and ultimately refused to reimburse the $373.96 replacement cost for the missing items. Additionally, I had to correct a previous billing error where I was charged for all quoted hours that were not worked. This, combined with the poor communication and lack of accountability, left me with no confidence in their professionalism or customer service. I am sharing this experience so other homeowners are aware of the risks and documentation issues. If you expect clear records and accountability, I recommend considering another company.
