I stopped by to find a housewarming gift for a friend and found a cute medium-sized cactus for a beginner, along with a pot. I was afraid that the prices were going to be outrageous, but it was actually reasonably priced. They potted the plant and drilled a hole in the pot for free! It also comes with a care card. They also have other plant-related knick-knacks scattered around the shop. The staff was kind and helpful with questions. They have a parking lot for the strip, so parking isn't an issue. I will definitely be back for more - it's also great to support our local businesses! read more

Anyone who is uncertain or lost about caring for plants, Flora Culture will save your life!! Small plants, big plants, easy-hard maintenance plants, they really have something for EVERYONE! I came in because my Pothos & Calathea were having a hard time in their new environment... turned out they needed more light. I also found a small pink polka dot that I used to have so I had to buy it again. Then I got a cork plate for the water to drain out of my Calathea. So excited about my purchases! This plant shop is the cutest space I've ever seen. Such beautiful plants. I love how open airy the shop feels, which I think is impressive when they keep so many plants to showcase! The plants are well-kept and the variety is endless. I got 3 plants there and was given a care card on exactly how to take care of each. One of the workers was SO helpful in answering all my questions, since I am a new plant owner. The other workers seemed friendly as well. The shop also sells aesthetic looking pots, and they can drill a draining hole into the pots that don't have one yet. If you purchase a plant from them, you can bring your own pot and have the worker repot the plant for free, and Vice versa. I love that! I sometimes want to just drop by and spend some time just browsing because the space feels so welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough for new plant owners who have a lot of questions, because the workers know their stuff. read more

They have a great selection of pots and planters and of course her plants are always gorgeous. Upon entering, you are greeted with an open, airy space filled with lush green plants of all kinds. From little succulents, pothos, to tall, thriving trees. I absolutely ADORE the interior decor with their hip light fixtures, plant wall, and minimalistic aesthetic. It's family owned by a couple who have a love for design and nature. I checked out their website and they also offer floral services, interior landscaping-incorporating plants into your home, workshops, and more. You can really feel the care and passion they have put into their business. I brought my friend along and we both got new plants. Flora Culture has a great variety of greenery, big or small, to brighten up your place and quarantine blues. There's plenty of different planters and most have drainage holes. They'll repot your plants with fresh soil regardless if you purchase a planter from them. The shop was pretty busy on a Saturday but you can get a quick glimpse or even shop on their website. Guys I love this place I've bought 8-10 plants from them so far. They have an amazing selection and reasonably priced!! The plants might be a bit more exp than a big box shop but its worth to dish out a few more dollars for the quality you're getting. The shop itself is absolutely beautiful and the workers are very helpful and friendly. If you buy a pot or plant from here, they'll repot for free. You can even bring an outside plant and they'll repot for a small fee. Great service. I've had many plants repotted here and they're thriving. Anna helped me she was very informative and patient with my deciding which plant to choose. She also gave me a bit of education on how to care for my plant. The one guy was super helpful in making selections and handling them with care. Free Topo Chico. Cons: It's small. It doesn't have a lot of room for movement if it's crowded. Parking lot is also small and shared with other businesses. One of a sales associates wasn't very personable. Literally zero dialogue as she rung me up (not even like, "You can insert your card now.") and seemed disinterested in answering the one follow up question I had. This place is very cute. From the outside it looks like it's very small but once you come in it's massive. Over all the vibe is great. All the plants that they have available are on the shelves with their respective names which are very useful when doing your own research. The prices are reasonable for what you are buying and for the information that the employees give you on the plants care process. The woman we spoke with told us that their goal is for " all of the plants to thrive " and because of that they give you a lot of useful information which I really appreciated. When I saw their reviews I was like..Hey, let me go check them out. I'm really happy that I did. This is by far the most amazing plant shop I've been to in Houston. I'm not the most knowledgeable about anything green by any means, but I've been trying to be a better plant person so I was on the look-out for some new greenery for my apartment. They were incredibly friendly and helped me find a small low-light plant that would hold up better against a [very] curious cat and answered all of my questions about how to best care for it. Their prices are also affordable. On top of the service being great, the shop itself is something to see. (I wish I had taken pictures.)
