At times, I felt like I had to manage my own case by making sure information and documents were uploaded on time and following up on things that I believed should have been handled for me. I was also referred to a physician and physical therapy office, and unfortunately, that experience involved poor communication and management as well. There were times when I felt like I was traveling to the office more to speak with someone than I was actually receiving treatment. This was especially frustrating because I was already dealing with significant pain from my auto accident. Overall, this was a very stressful experience, but it was also a learning experience.
