At the drive-thru, they handed me my food and let me know they'd bring the candle out separately. When I got home, I realized they had accidentally given me two candles, one was tucked inside my food bag and another had been brought out separately. I called to let them know because I wanted to pay for the extra candle (I absolutely love their candles and wanted to keep it!). The sweet lady I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and told me not to worry about it, they wanted me to enjoy the second candle on them. That level of customer service is so rare these days. Everyone was friendly, appreciative, and genuinely cared about making the experience a great one. Between the delicious food, fantastic coffee, and outstanding customer service, Marty B's continues to be one of my favorite places. And if you haven't tried their candles yet, you're missing out! Even better, all of their syrups are made in-house, which really shows in the quality and flavor. Owner James has put his personal touch throughout the shop, handcrafting most of the furniture--including the coffee bar itself. It gives the space a warm, welcoming feel that you just don't find in chain coffee shops. There's also beautiful artwork throughout the café, much of it hand-painted by his daughter Caley's grandfather, alongside pieces from talented local artists.
