Went for a little after work wake up coffee. There was no line, so I was immediately asked for my order. Vanessa greeted me and was very sweet. I love the vibe of this place so so so much. three music blaring, the casualness of the team that works there... everything. they are quick, easy and the nicest people. and the coffee is amazing. and the tea. I live in Denton/Corinth (we don't have one in the these cities), so I make up excuses for why I *have* to go to flower mound for... just go try them, so so so worth it. the black tea is great just on its own, there's something... floral about it that makes it special. I often get there Carmel macchiato (1/2 decaf, because if the old ticker) and that too is really a go to favorite of mine as well. read more

Honestly this place just isn't really my thing. If you don't like coffee, this is a great place for you. Straight up just tastes like sugar, kind of like Dutch Bros. My coffee was probably closer to a 3/5 but the service and speed of this place was so exceptional that I have to give 5 stars! The line was super long to the point I almost left, but I noticed that they had employees outside taking orders. When it was my turn to order I asked the employee how long the line would take and he guessed 5-10 minutes, and it only ended up taking about 6 (there were 12-15 cars in line so I was shocked). I asked for his recommendation since it was my first time there, and he recommended the Blondie which is a cold brew with breve + vanilla and caramel. I ordered it half sweet. It came out tasting pretty watery and kinda weak, which wasn't what I expected from a cold brew-- but I think next time I will try the nitro like he first recommended. I always get cold brew it's so good and if you're really needing a huge wake up drink the nitro cold brew is amazing. I add two packets stevia, splash of half and half and light ice. So good. They probably have cinnamon for topping... The workers are always so so so upbeat and friendly, legendary customer service and they're very fast. It was less than one min after I put my order they had my drink made. Ambiance is drive through but very hip and lively. There's Halloween decorations up right now. absolutely love love love love love ! not one of their staff stands out because they are all above and beyond. i go most mornings before work and sometimes after work when i go to my second job since they are next to my main one! i love the portions, i love the quality, the price is a bit but at this point where isn't? i always tip on my drink which brings my total to around 8.50 but i also get a large so who am i to complain. this place is absolutely amazing. the line never takes longer than a few minutes even when it is wrapped around the building. cannot express how speedy, kind, & professional their staff is. whatever they are getting paid is not enough. read more

A great pitstop for your caffeine fix! I have been eyeing this place since it opened and never got the chance to stop by since it was on the opposite side of my commute to work. I was out running errands and thought it would be a great opportunity to try it out! I have always seen this place with a line of cars but it's moved fairly quickly as they have workers taking orders further out in the line. Since I was a first timer, she was super helpful with finding a drink that fit my palette. I ended up trying out the Irish cream latte. It was sweet but you can never go wrong with an iced coffee in my opinion. Unfortunately, they don't have unsweetened flavors but they did offer sugar-free syrups. Hoping they can have unsweetened options in the future! For the price and friendly service, I highly recommend trying this place out! read more

This is not a third wave coffee shop, meaning the baristas are not skIlled at creating microfoam or latte art. Consequently, the texture is not right for espresso drinks. A cappuccino won't be creamy. A latte will have a watery mouthfeel. Asking for a cortado will get you a blank stare from the teenager behind the counter. However, the beans (Dillanos Coffee Roasters) are better than the stale, overroasted variety you'll get at a Starbucks. A cup of drip should be decent to drink. For a quick drive through cuppa on your way to work, this is better than the competition. I came during a 1/2 price grand opening promotion, so I felt I got my money's worth, if barely. I went to 151 Coffee this morning and ordered a lavender Latte with a sweet cap. I drive off and took a sip of the coffee and that was not the drink I ordered. I had to drive 3 blocks to turn around to go back to have them make the correct drink. The manager Sam came to my window and I explained what happened, he was very kind and said they would make another drink for me. I got to the opening where you get your drink. When the young lady ( long black hair in a braid) handed me the drink, I said can you take this drink that want made correctly from me, she said no. I could drive up a ways and throw it away myself., which I would have had to of gotten out of my car stop the car flow there. I said , you made the drink wrong it's the right thing for you to do, since I didn't have a cup holder for the drink. She took it , literally stormed off and turned around and had her cheeks puffed out giving me a dirty look. Please train your people properly in customer service. She lacks any of it. The first drink was dripping of the coffee down the sides and I had to ask her to wipe it off before I took it from her, because coffee would have been all over my seats. Please talk with her. In my first trip here, I didn't get anything fancy. Just a black batch brew coffee. The coffee was an extremely good medium-dark roast as best as I could tell. It doesn't seem like a place where you'll be looking for a single-origin Ethiopian Yirgacheffe or something like that. It's still head and shoulders above a Starbucks, Scooters, or Dunkin. At a coffee shop, the coffee is important, but where 151 shines brightest is the phenomenal customer service. Everyone I interacted with greeted me with a smile and wanted to make my morning a little brighter. Just driving through the drive through can make your day. A stone's throw from my house, 151 Coffee in FloMo is my go-to drive-thru. I usually drink the frozens and ask for a little less than normal mocha or vanilla -- and they get it right every time. The coffee is really good and the staff there is super. The drive-thru line can be long at times but they move everyone through fairly quickly and efficiently, plus you get the bonus of them walking the line and taking orders directly from the parking lot (which usually results in some friendly banter). read more
