If it's a delay on your end it makes sense to inform the customer if the product is going to take 2-3 times longer to arrive and let them decide if they still want it. The customer shouldn't have to followup on a business promise made. Horrible business practice and VERY POOR customer service. Next time I'll stick with Amazon.
