It's rare that I walk into a place and they blow my mind. However, I found my new spot. Italian Gem Cafe has it all--and the gem in their name certainly belongs there. Jessica is running an amazing business in Middleboro, MA and my only regret is not finding out about her cafe sooner. IGC uses clean ingredients, makes everything fresh in house daily, and believes in small batch or quality over quantity. However, I must say, I was blown away by all of the choices they had. I can personally say that her paninis, made on house made focaccia bread are next level. Whether you're going with house favorites like La Rosemarino, La Diavola or La Porchetta or a weekly special, you are bound to be satisfied. And that's only the beginning of that's they have to offer! The bagel bomboloni was quite possibly the best savory pastry I've ever had. I cannot stop thinking about it. The mini Nutella and wild berry bombolonis were so good too. Their donuts and croissants were also delicious. I know they went viral for their frozen espresso, but I opted for the cookies and creme latte. It had chocolate all around the cup, the espresso was perfect, the cold foam was next level and the cookie details on top were the ideal touch. This latte was amazing and you know I've had a lot to compare it to. Alli def made the perfect drink for me and I am so thankful for her thoughtfulness on selecting one I would love. The customer service at IGC is def next level---they care about their product, their customers and their community. I'll be back soon for sure!

Wow! Just wow!…read more Leading up to my son's graduation, I struggled with what to serve as a simple dessert for his grad party. He loves cake pops but no way was I gonna make over 100 and I didn't think my local bakery would be up for the challenge. That's when I found Veronica's Treats via Zazzle.com. After reading many reviews (most of which were positive), I ordered equal amounts of Vanilla, Red Velvet and Chocolate in my son's school colors. I'll admit, when the first batch came in they were a little rough...the majority were smushed and melted due to improper timing of shipping. In a slight panic, I immediately called Veronica's and explained the situation...even offered to send photos, but they were wonderful and so accommodating! Without hesitation, they said they would replace the order (this time packing them in an insulated cold pack) free of charge. Second time was a charm! You'll see by my photos just how beautiful they came out! Not only that...they were absolutely delicious! My guests ranted and raved about how good they were and devoured them! All in all, I have to give Veronica's Treats 5-stars. Customer service was excellent and the cake pops were an absolute hit! I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I try coleslaw all the time and this is just the right combo. Not swimming in dressing and not dry. I had a choice of a good variety of sides. Richard had the wimpy burger (huge!) w/crispy fries. Everything here appears to be homemade. A great variety of side dishes, too. Creative specials along w/their regular menu items. They have smaller plate meals, too. Prices reasonable as far as restaurants go these days Saw a lot of breakfast and lunch/dinner food go by and tons of take out orders being picked up. Good amount of parking spaces. Noticed a BBQ building next door, think it is for special parties. It gets crowded here but if you time it right, you will get in. We got here at 11:30. They serve all sorts of drinks, beer, wine along w/the usual diner style ice cream offerings. We will be back.

Someone must have passed a law mandating diners to have Elvis, Marilyn, and Betty Boop on the walls. Comfortable digs, outdoor dining to boot, and extremely welcoming and friendly staff. -- Blueberry Muffin: My wife and I shared a breakfast "appetizer," grilled with butter by default. Would've been nice to have been asked, but not a problem. Mid-range density, with equal amounts of sweetness and butter, even under the butter from grilling. Not life chain, but solid and satisfying. -- Omelettes: We each got our own, with mine a western and my wife's a build-your-own with assorted vegetables. Both were huge, with the add-ons tucked neatly inside and the egg surfaces, smooth and heaping. Home fries matched this impressive portion and came in uncrisp outside, very soft and fluffy inside, and seasoned but not oniony. Toast was toast, but many varieties to choose from. Coffee refills came regularly, cheerfully, and without the need to ask. Food overall was good-- definitely better than adequate, though with no life changing surprises. Service was outstanding, nailing the 4 overall.
