The zucchini bread tastes like it has ginger in it, didn't love that, but I liked everything else. The brownie was fudgy enough. The decor and theme is really cute. Cute little cafe in downtown South Haven! It's somewhat space themed, with some light artwork/posters on the wall with a kind of sci-fi bent, but I wouldn't call it kitschy or a theme cafe. The focus here is good coffee and they deliver! I got a few drinks for my crew. A vanilla latte for my mom, a coconut latte for my husband, and a cold brew for myself. All were excellent. In particular I quite liked the coconut latte. It's one I never think to order for myself but every time I take a sip when my husband gets one I like it! And they make a great one here. There's plenty of seating here, too (though I took our's to go) and the barista who took my order and prepped our drinks was really nice. One thing about me is, I love sipping on a good cup of coffee. As my girlfriend and I made our last stops in South Haven before heading back to Chicago, we knew we wanted to grab some coffee. We found this coffee shop mixed in with all of the shops in the area and were happy to stop in. The vibe was pretty chill, and the barista was friendly and helpful. I ordered a regular latte and my girl got the Chai Tea. All in all our drinks were good and got the job done. We were both satisfied with our purchase. The line was decent when we came here. Just two ppl working but loads of space to sit. The theme is aliens. After visiting Roswell NM I really wanted to see more aliens. I think I had the black and white. Nice touch on the lids bc they do look like a flying saucer. Living in a beach town you get a lot of visitors. Be nice to the person taking your order. The Flying Saucer is out of this world (pun most definitely intended). We were looking for a coffee shop mid afternoon, and this was one of the few that were still open. We got lucky! The inside makes you think you're inside of a spaceship. Awesome decor! The coffee wasn't half bad either. They have flavor pumps up the wazoo and the espresso was really fresh without any burnt type of taste. I got the double cold brew, which is cold brew brewed with cold brew. Apparently most places use water? Anyways, was really good and strong. I needed to add a little sugar even though I usually get my coffee black. The owners didn't disappoint with the decor and atmosphere. There is a book collection to explore about UFOs, futuristic furniture, alien posters, and other art within this theme which is a joy. The staff were attentive and caring of our experience and tastes. Kind and thoughtful. The drinks were tasty and cool on this hot and muggy day. Bravo to this little gem. First off, I think this coffee establishment is super cozy and has a nice atmosphere. However, my friend ordered a peppermint mocha and it tasted like straight up toothpaste.
