Was excited to see this Barbecue food truck close by the highway and the reviews were good. I wanted to pick up something quick but didn't want a Fast Food Drive-Thru. This place is cash only so make sure that you have that. I had to go to the ATM and come back. I received fast friendly service. For $12 I got a rib tip dinner with a side of baked beans and potato salad. Nice portions for the price. The meat was seasoned well and the sauce was good. Unfortunately, my meat was tough. I maybe had 2 tender pieces out of the whole dinner. I really wish that wasn't the case as the customer service was very good. I'm hoping that today was an off day. This fellow smokes his own meat right there. Amazing prices, you must get the slab, and at minimum the pulled.pork. But a small won't satisfy, so go big. I have been living my life all wrong, TJM Barbecue showed me the path to a happier life, via rib tips. I was hungry and had been riding my motorcycle all day, and I'd seen the BBQ trailer parked there before but hadn't stopped before; big mistake. At first I ordered the 3 piece dark chicken but as it was already 3:30pm and that's one of the hot sellers, I then chose the rib tips. Since I had dinner to go to later I got the 'small' order and let me tell you: There is nothing small about the 'small' order of rib tips! So much experience was evident in that perfectly seasoned, masterfully smoked rib that it left me questioning my life, that I had not stopped here before. For my sides I got the cole slaw and greens, both were superb. Chatting with the master of pork himself, I had a great conversation with Larry and will never, ever, pass that BBQ trailer again. read more

We ordered small pulled pork sandwiches and the ribs dinner with sides of smoked corn cob, greens, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, and beans. The pulled pork was PERFECT- flavorful, moist, and not dry at all. I wish I would've ordered a large because it was so good. The corn was smoked and the flavor was awesome!! Super smoky and I didn't even need to add anything. The ribs are not the fall of the bone kind but more of that chewy style but super moist, flavorful, and tender. Definitely some of the best ribs I've ever had. All of the sides were great as well. It was super cheap and we will definitely be back to try the chicken and rib tips. This was our 1st time here & will definitely return especially now that I have a paper menu. They sell all kinds of meat: ribs, rib tips, chicken, burgers, brats, pulled pork, etc. The sides they offer are Cole slaw, collard greens, baked beans and mac&cheese. They don't sell pop & could stand to sell a few more sides like fried okra, corn & fries. The owner is very friendly & definitely knows how to BBQ.
