The measurements for the orthotics were done on the representative's phone in 3D and uploaded to the manufacturer right away. The back office staff at Tillges worked with my insurance to get orthotics and diabetic shoes covered for me and called to set up an appointment back at the Specialty Center again in two weeks. The staff said, "We will call you if we need to cancel the appointment because of a delay." I showed up to the agreed upon appointment and the appointment had been canceled without informing me of the cancellation. I arranged a second appointment a week later to pick up both shoes and orthotics one week later to allow the necessary time. I called the main office the day before to confirm the appointment and shoes/orthotics will be there for me but the representative only had the orthotics but not shoes! So a third appointment is scheduled for me to pick up the shoes. The customer care for Tillges has much to be desired. I recommend that everyone stay well clear of Tillges for their needs. This company has been the worst service I have experienced in many years of medical appointments.

See…read morehttp://www.yelp.com/biz/center-for-diagnostic-imaging-maplewood#hrid:oOz1souip8wZVugoUB1npw for the first review. My surgeon was Dr. Weiss. He was always very cordial and very friendly. He answered questions patiently and was never patronizing. Lynn, his assistant always returned calls promptly and answered any questions I had. She has since left, but my brief interaction with his new assistant does not lead me to believe she'll be any different. I have only two complaints about this office. First, when I called for my initial appointment and ask for an appointment as soon as possible, they got me an appointment with Dr. Meyer. The problem was, he was a hand doctor and not a knee doctor. I was just getting an assessment at the time and when I decided to do my surgery, I had to do a new assessment with Dr. Weiss. So basically, the money I paid for my first appt would have been just as well served being flushed down the toilet. Even though I asked for an appointment as soon as possible, I would have been willing to wait a week or two if I had known knees was not Dr. Meyer's expertise and that Dr. Weiss would have ended up being my surgeon anyway. My other complaint is that the fee for the surgery covers the surgery itself and follow-up visits. What they neglected to tell me was that the follow-ups were covered only up to 6 months. When Dr. Weiss asked to see me "in three months", the appointment ended up 1 week after the 6 month time frame. So I had to pay for it (insert flushing noise here). Overall, I was very happy with Dr. Weiss and the work he did on my knee. I'm slightly perturbed at spending more than I needed to in this office, but now I know what questions to ask. Now you will, too.

In the 1970s, my husband was injured in the Army and had knees that were so damaged that he had constant pain. In 2011, he saw a surgeon at Summit Orthopedics in Woodbury. He finally chose to have his right knee replaced and in 2013, he had his other knee replaced. It's now 2026 and my husband still is so glad he replaced his knees and rarely has any pain. Choosing Summit for his surgeries greatly improved his quality of life! Thank you, Dr. Gannon. In 2014, I had my right hip replaced at Summit Orthopedics Vadnais Heights location and last month in 2026, I had my left hip replaced there also. It's an amazing facility. Staff is so positive, caring and knowledgeable. I received physical therapy exercises to do at home before and after surgery. The Vadnais Heights location has amazing rooms, with meals coming from local restaurants. I had the hip replacement in the morning and left to go home by the afternoon. Two weeks after surgery, I'm moving around very well. I live in Lindstrom, so with the new Summit Orthopedics location in Forest Lake, I only have to drive a few miles for consultations or checkups. Thank you, Dr. Tollemar! My father also had his hip replaced with Summit in Woodbury. He had polio as a kid and had his hip replaced at a hospital in Bemidji. Unfortunately, the hip constantly dislocated. We brought him to Summit Orthopedics and had his hip redone and he had no problems walking or with dislocation after that. Thank you, Dr. Hoeffler! So, we highly recommend Summit Orthopedics. They have a protocol before and after surgeries that completely explains an upcoming procedure, what to do before surgery and what to do after surgery. Their staff calls before surgery to make sure you are ready for the procedure and to answer any questions. They also call to check up on us at home to see how were are doing and to answer questions. Summit Orthopedics is very impressive. We highly recommend it...
