This is typically where me and my boyfriend will go out to eat for virtually every occasion, which is more than okay cause this place is awesome. The waitresses are nice and get to you as soon as possible. The Food is always thoroughly cooked an tasting amazing. Somewhat costly, but honestly worth it. Everything is portioned sizably. I almost always end up with too much on my plate to finish. I would personally recommend their sirloin steak as they serve what can easily be called one of the best steaks I've had. Their corn nuggets from the appetizer section of the menu are AMAZING along with the breaded pickle spears. My boyfriend also enjoys their all you can eat walleye dinner on Fridays and the pea salad. You will not regret stopping here.

Shannon and Todd are serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day!! You can choose to sit in the dining room or bar. The locals are eating and hanging out here and that's all I needed to know!! They have gaming, but more importantly they have the Wisconsin pull tabs. A fully stocked bar and ice cold beers are ready for your sipping pleasure. We stopped in on 3 different occasions during the weekend. What we ordered: *** homemade hand battered fresh cheese curds- these were the best curds I have ever eaten!! For breakfast the following day: ** 3 egg omelet with fresh ham, tomatoes and cheese with a side of bacon. ** Biscuits and gravy with an over easy egg. Our food was hot fresh, and delicious. This restaurant/bar is exactly how you picture a locals place to be. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home. We were sad to leave as we felt like we were leaving family. I wish they came in different sizes and were homemade crust. Otherwise, basic toppings, expensive add-ons, and not many specialty pizzas. Meh. The jukebox in the bar area is soooo loud. It does not "fit" the crowd of old people out trying to visit. They kept coming out to the dining area complaining it was too loud in the other room. Despite the staff's back and forth, we were not greeted or waited on for 20 minutes. We could hear them BSing in the back, but I think they forgot they were at work. We kept closing the door between the bar and dining room and the staff walking in between constantly left it open. The owners need to "read the room" and adjust the jukebox accordingly. We shouldn't have to YELL over dinner. I wear hearing aids and couldn't hear a thing! Food is inconsistent and owner-after being complimented that the food had improved since they opened only argued that it's the same food they had when they opened, which it is not. Shut up and take the compliment!

Oh my gosh, all I could do, when it came out, was laugh since it was SOOOO much food on one plate. The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful and the vibe was relaxed even with most of the tables occupied. There's no outdoor seating as it's basically a corrugated barn on the outside so no dogs allowed. We stopped in on a road trip for some pie and it didn't disappoint! I'm a fan of raisins and chess pie so you know I had to try their raisin pie with a mountain of meringue. It was exactly what you'd expect and I recommend splitting a slice between 2-3 people since it's so decadent. The rhubarb fluff pie was an unexpected treat. We got the last slice and it was the best part of a midwestern church basement "salad". The frosting was incredibly dense, almost butter, so that made it texturally hard to eat. I highly recommend stopping in for food or even just some pie to go.

When we found this place, we decided to try it out. We didn't know that there was a bit of a gravel path to reach the restaurant but I promise ... it's worth it. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender (I'm sorry but I stupidly forgot her name!) and she was so funny and we bonded immediately being both boy moms. She was beyond knowledgeable of the food and drink menu which is always a huge plus! When we got our food, it was PERFECT. My husband and I are both foodies and I have had countless steaks in my life, but this hands down was THE BEST filet I have ever had. The owner Roumel, who is also the head chef, table touched which is unheard of now a days and we started talking about me being from Cleveland and him being from Chicago and next thing I know we're comparing our 2016 World Series notes. His were obviously better, but it was such a wholesome conversation! His wife Jilaine told us all about the story behind the restaurant and what encouraged them to buy it and the passion behind both of their words were so genuine that you could tell they took pride in their staff, restaurant and food. As a Cleveland baseball fan who got their heart broke by the Cubs, this meal helped a bit to forgive ... maybe not forget but definitely in the right step to forgive!
