The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful and the vibe was relaxed even with most of the tables occupied. There's no outdoor seating as it's basically a corrugated barn on the outside so no dogs allowed. We stopped in on a road trip for some pie and it didn't disappoint! I'm a fan of raisins and chess pie so you know I had to try their raisin pie with a mountain of meringue. It was exactly what you'd expect and I recommend splitting a slice between 2-3 people since it's so decadent. The rhubarb fluff pie was an unexpected treat. We got the last slice and it was the best part of a midwestern church basement "salad". The frosting was incredibly dense, almost butter, so that made it texturally hard to eat. I highly recommend stopping in for food or even just some pie to go.

I had the Rueben. It was good with Thousand Island dressing served on the side. Crinkle cut fries were OK. Others had the Club Croissant (which was served on croissant bread instead of a traditional French croissant) and the burger. Burger looked pretty pedestrian but the diner in question enjoyed it. She said the coleslaw was "nothing to write home about" but that the cowboy beans were really good. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were amazing. I loved that they had jello as a side dish. The neighboring table got it and the day's variety was blue! :) It came with a dollop of whipped cream and it made me want to order it. Truly old school feel and the walls are lined with antiques and vintage senior photo panels from the local high school.

I got the cevapi and my wife had the roasted chicken with potatoes and vegetables. Complementary beef and noodle soup came out which was delicious in the chilly morning. Not long after our orders came out with fresh baked bread and a Bosnian coleslaw type dish, both fantastic. Bread was soft and flavorful, coleslaw was crisp, refreshing and acidic which paired perfectly with our mains. The Cevapi were plentiful and cooked perfectly, still juicy, the bread soaked up all the juice. And the sauce was a house made sour cream and it goes really well with it. The roasted chicken was perfectly cooked, not overdone but still tender and juicy, and the vegetables went nicely with it. Nothing fancy, just very well done Bosnian home cooking. Can't wait to go back.

We are new owners of this amazing restaurant. Owning a restaurant was a dream I had with my father, but we weren’t able to attain it before he passed, so now I am here with my partner Medo to make everybody happy with food. Full bellies, bring smiles, and we need more of those. We have Indoor and outdoor seating. Bring your friends, your family or come alone, laid-back friendly environment, dine in or carry out.

Shannon and Todd are serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day!! You can choose to sit in the dining room or bar. The locals are eating and hanging out here and that's all I needed to know!! They have gaming, but more importantly they have the Wisconsin pull tabs. A fully stocked bar and ice cold beers are ready for your sipping pleasure. We stopped in on 3 different occasions during the weekend. What we ordered: *** homemade hand battered fresh cheese curds- these were the best curds I have ever eaten!! For breakfast the following day: ** 3 egg omelet with fresh ham, tomatoes and cheese with a side of bacon. ** Biscuits and gravy with an over easy egg. Our food was hot fresh, and delicious. This restaurant/bar is exactly how you picture a locals place to be. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home. We were sad to leave as we felt like we were leaving family. This is a must stop while in De Soto!!

I wish they came in different sizes and were homemade crust. Otherwise, basic toppings, expensive add-ons, and not many specialty pizzas. Meh. The jukebox in the bar area is soooo loud. It does not "fit" the crowd of old people out trying to visit. They kept coming out to the dining area complaining it was too loud in the other room. Despite the staff's back and forth, we were not greeted or waited on for 20 minutes. We could hear them BSing in the back, but I think they forgot they were at work. We kept closing the door between the bar and dining room and the staff walking in between constantly left it open. The owners need to "read the room" and adjust the jukebox accordingly. We shouldn't have to YELL over dinner. I wear hearing aids and couldn't hear a thing! Food is inconsistent and owner-after being complimented that the food had improved since they opened only argued that it's the same food they had when they opened, which it is not. Shut up and take the compliment!
