This place doesn't try to be anything more than what it is, a down home restaurant where you can get classic American fare / diner food / country cooking. By keeping it simple, they achieve a sort of excellence in my opinion. Make no mistake, this is not fine dining, but it's higher quality than a Denny's or some chain restaurant and the service aims to please. This is the second time I've stopped in over the last month between the Midwest and NYC on I-70. I'll definitely be back for a ribeye and a baked potato next time I'm passing through. We stayed in Cambridge for 10 days and ate at several restaurants. This was by far was the best restaurant we ate at. It was Saturday night and they were very busy. We were seated very quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and extremely efficient. My husband and daughter had the ranch dressing and said it was fantastic. My prime rib was very tasty but because wanted it rare it was not very warm. But still very good. Over all 5 stars. We wanted to thank our waitress we believe her mane was (Kim). So you've figured it out. There are few upper end dining choices in Cambridge. This place is about as gastronomically advanced as the Ruby Tuesday's across the street. However, I split lunch days between here, Ruby's, and Steak and Ale I've never had bad service, but I sincerely doubt the servers and the cooks care much about the food. You'd do good to try the Bear's Den instead---only farm to table restaurant in Cambridge. Portions are huge. Menu should be tamed and moderated. This place could be excellent if someone cared to make it so, but that might scare off the locals. read more

My sister and I have stopped here several times on trips to Columbus. The food has always been good, but we've always played it safe and got familiar food. This past time, we decided to be a bit more adventurous . We started with the Greek Sampler! Yum!! A variety of Greek finger foods such as sponikopita, stuffed grape leaves, and chunks of feta cheese. Delicious ! I ordered the Olympic Chicken which is served with fettuccine and my sister ordered the Chicken Kopanista. Omg, there was so much flavor packed into that pasta dish!!! With all the veggies and chicken sautéed in olive oil and a Greek blend of herbs and spices, it was definitely one of the best pasta dishes that I'd ever had!! My sister was very pleased with her chicken also. It was moist and juicy and the sauce was delicious!!! Service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Can't wait until my next trip to Columbus!!! I do have one suggestion. In the Olympic Chicken dish, it was a bit too salty (and I'm usually the one to add salt) and there was way too much olive oil. I took my leftovers home and drained 1/3 cup out of my pasta before I could eat it. read more

The service is horrible. You can always find every waitress in the bar area on the phone or at that corner eating. I have gotten up and left before awaiting a menu or acknowledgment I was in a booth. The pork chops are the best in the world and the inferno wings are even too hot for me. But the soon to arrive bww will put this place out of business. It's a shame. As an out of towner, I first chose Cracker Barrel. You know what you're getting no matter where you are. After reading the reviews I chose to eat here. It possibly could have been that I ordered the wrong item since they have so many to choose, but I was 0-2 on both items. I chose the spaghetti with mushrooms and marinara and a side salad with Greek salad dressing. First off, I love vinegar and oil, I love dill pickles, cucumbers in vinegar- you name it but this Greek dressing was like drinking straight vinegar from the bottle. No sugar added or anything I couldn't stomach it. Then my spaghetti was.. well spaghetti and plain sauce with a ton of mushrooms thrown on top. Again, maybe pasta isn't their specialty but definitely wishing I would have went with Cracker Barrel. read more

This is probably the best restaurant in the Cambridge area. They have a few Greek items (as the name might imply), but the majority of their menu is more like a Max & Erma's or Fridays. I've had their Greek "sampler" platter (prepared vegetarian) in the past-- it's not going to compete well with places in larger metro areas, but it wasn't bad. On my last visit, I had a pizza-- while on our way to be seated, I had noticed a couple of pizzas at other tables and they looked good. I was pretty pleased with it. It had a thin pastry-like crust (a "cracker crust"). The sauce, toppings, and cheese were reminiscent of my favorite pizza in Columbus (Rotollo's)-- piled high enough to give you a nice variety in every bite but not so high that you're making a mess trying to pick up a piece. Oh, and it's cut in a crosshatched pattern, making it even easier to eat. I couldn't tell if the crust was prepared on-site (and forgot to ask), but it very well could have been. They have a full bar-- when we were there, it looked like Bud products and maybe Killian's on tap. The bottled beer selection was respectable-- maybe 20 varieties, including Sam Adams. The service was friendly (with a nice small-town feel) and we had just the right amount of attention (about the time our iced tea glasses were just about to be empty, our server appeared to refill them). If you're passing through along I-77, I-70, US-40 or US-22, you should make this your meal stop-- they're on the east side of state route 209 (Southgate Parkway), just north of I-70 at exit 178. After you eat at the Forum, you can fuel-up (there are enough gas stations to keep prices competitive) and restock on provisions at the nearby shopping spots. And, if you're lucky enough to come through when they're open, you should bop on down to Kennedy's bakery for some pastries before you get back on the freeway. read more

One of my favorites in Cambridge there dips with fried pita breads are my favorite appetizers. Best known for there sandwiches and Greek food but I am a sucker for there char broiled salmon and rice dish. Nice wine and beer selection too. read more

2 Aussies travelling from the West to the East coast by car we were in sore need of a meal that had a lot of vegetables. Both of us ordered steaks, which were perfectly cooked, and 4 sides of vegetables. Broccoli never tasted so good and the mushrooms were divine. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. Decor is very nice. The dim lighting and paintings create a nice ambience. The menu is VERY large, but it sticks to mainly Greek and Italian. Staff was very nice. Now for the food. The breadsticks that came before our meals were very good. I had the gyro and the rest of my table got lasagna. The lamb on my gyro was burnt and lasagna was cold. The Forum is almost the mid-point between Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh (this exit also has a Sheetz). It's extremely convenient to the interstate and a great option if you are looking for something other than Fast Food. I ordered the Greek Salad and would definitely order it again but would request less feta cheese. The salad came with three small flaky spinach and cheese quiche/pastries on top (think a two inch square each). My service was great for a lunch stop. If you're looking for a place with giant portions this is your place. My husband and I dined here many times. The chicken fingers are outstanding. And they're not chicken fingers at all. They're actually chicken. LOL if you have to try anything try the Greek salad. And you don't have to be great to have it. The wait staff is great and attentive. We've always gotten in and out without a hassle. The Greeks sampler on the appetizer menu is a little known special treat. It has large portions of feta cheese as well as many Greek specialties that you don't find many restaurants. It truly is a sampler and huge enough to share with the entire table. Which I don't. I agree 100% with David S. in the first part of his review. Food is overly expensive for the amount you get on your plate and I only see it getting worse in the near future. The pizza isn't bad. Prime rib is pre-cut pieces and normally overcooked. I say normally because I have tried it more than a few times with the same result each time. Unfortunately when I see prime rib on a menu I have a hard time ordering anything else. The others at my table usually have fajitas, chicken tenders, pizza, and every once in a while a steak salad. This was okay. The alfredo was good, the lasagna was not as good. We had one steak that was cooked well and one that was not.

So no expectations, just looking for a "not fast food" place en route back home. Took a chance and were pleasantly surprised! Hubs had lasagna and I had Greek salad. First let me say that breadsticks were nothing short of amazing...yeasty, warm and chewy. Papa portion of lasagna was more than ample. My salad was the best thing I've eaten in awhile. I are the stuffed grape leaves, spanakopita and feta cheese pie served WITH the salad. Soooo good I ate it all and took my salad home for next days lunch. We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening. We were lucky to miss the rush by 10 or 15 minutes though it didn't seem like anyone waited long or at all for a table. Our food took a little while but I think people who sat down after us were waiting quite a while. It seemed like a popular place for locals to have dinner. When we ordered drinks I was disappointed by their draft selection. It was mostly cheap domestic beers. I began to ask about what bottles were available. The waitress said they had "just about everything" and offered a beer list. The bottle selection was fairly good and I quickly found a Great Lakes I like. The appetizer we had, Kopanisti, was excellent. The dip tasted great and the pita chips had a great texture. I had a salmon which was excellently seasoned with rice and fries. The rice was very good, but I wish they had some more interesting side options so I didn't have to stick with fries. My wife had a seafood pasta that was underwhelming. She says that she should have guessed from the price that the proteins were not going to be high quality. She said the pasta itself tasted good. We took a piece of tiramisu to go which was good, but not quite the soaked in coffee liquor I was expecting. What we did enjoy about the Forum was the prices.
