You might fit more patrons in a dive bar, but I'm guessing about 50-60 seats. The seats are comfortable and have cup holders which came in handy for the complimentary low supermarket shelf wine (donation suggested). I've been to a few plays at ICS and the latest, Pageant, is the best I've seen so far. It's a musical parody/satire of beauty pageants and so hilarious! The actors are on point. Even the stage and production values raised the bar. As expected, ticket prices went up to match; however it's still affordable for an entertaining evening out. The Wilton Theater Factory now houses both the original 68-seat theater, now called The Mainstage, at 2304 Dixie Highway, and the new Foundry, at 2306 Dixie Highway, being a more intimate 50-seat theater. It is believed that The Wilton Theater Factory, in addition to being home of Island City Stage and Infinite Abyss Productions, will become a sought-after venue for other theatrical and entertainment productions. I've attended a good number of performances at this location by both Island City Stage and Infinite Abyss Productions prior to the expansion and renaming. Both theaters of this newly named complex are intimate and comfortable with one of the best things about them being that you can hear everything without the necessity of the performer's voices being electronically enhanced. You are also right up there so you can visually see everything. All of the performances I've seen have been first class top notch in both acting and staging. And, the plays presented here are like no other that you will find elsewhere. Many are of original works, premier first time performances and also always eclectic and unique striking in depth at social and political issues other theaters dare not even touch upon. What a fun and exciting way to experience the cult classic film about Anna and her classmates whose lives are turned upside down when a viral global outbreak makes everyone a ZOMBIE ‍! The cast come out and perform musical numbers; dance and lip-synch, dressed like the characters they each bring to life and off the movie screen as it plays behind them. Humorous and at times emotionally touching, everyone in their lives are forever changed. They do warn you not everyone gets a Hollywood ending! ‍ Anna, played by Anna Christine, hits the ground running and was spectacular throughout as she, along with her cast-mates, takes us along on her zombie adventure. Lip-syncing her heart out as we watch her lose friends, town folk and family as the zombie madness spreads. Nick, played by Luis Albaer was phenomenal as the troubled school jock/bad boy turned Zombie slayer who steps up to the plate --literally (baseball bat in hand) to do his best to defend his friends... bashing zombies one skull at a time. It was a delightful bloodbath! Erynn Dalton, who not only directed the shadow cast; but stars brilliantly alongside them as starlet in the making Lisa, was superb. I HIGHLY recommend seeing it while you can and supporting local artists while you're at it. I had a great time and got to meet the entire talented cast immediately after the performance. They were warm and welcoming and made me feel like family. I look forward to more performances at the Wilton Theater Factory and see more amazing performances from Erynn and her troupe of remarkable thespians .

However, the theater really is properly known as the Infinite Abyss which specializes in adult works that might best said to be the edgiest in psychological horror plays, productions involving a certain brinksmanship with reality as well as those involving nudity. Basically, as they so aptly put it, plays that "...few local companies have the guts to tackle." I couldn't help but fall in love with this little theater as it is small and intimate. It's little theater like these wherein you can actually hear the voices of the actors without electronic amplification and catch all the subtleties of their theatrical abilities. And, like the Empire Stage Theater and the productions done here by Island City Stage, all performed by those of superlative theater skills and acting abilities.

And it's all donated to the theatre to keep prices low, so if you're not drinking, just drop some money in the piggy bank. They also have a couple candy bars and a couple bags of pretzels for sale as well. The performance I saw was Love and Human Remains. I really enjoyed the show! Great performances, and they were all at the door to say good-night or speak to the audience. If you see a performance scheduled that you think you might enjoy, grab up some tickets. The singers had great harmony and they can sing in both Spanish and English. They offer 30 and 50 minute performances. Anyway, I am somewhat critical of my vocals still but now have the confidence to get on stage with pop. I actually got a call back for America's Got Talent. I have to owe it to singing lessons with Aria because I auditioned last year and heard nothing back. I hired the Olympic level coach for voice, and got Olympic level results. It's a yes for me and she's super nice.
