Don't feel like I should need to keep calling to give someone my business so went with someone else. Again super knowledgeable but not responsive after the fact.

The salesman Terry showed us options for various open log kits and price ranges. When I described our system to him, he recommended that I call a repair person to see if it was repairable for about 1/5 the cost of a new system. Although we haven't determined it our old system is repairable or not, I want to point out that Terry was not at all the typical high-pressure salesman and suggested what could be a substantial savings. Just thought I'd share our positive experience.

A young lady came over who was very polite and courteous and began collecting my information, she was told by Kim to do another task instead which was off putting for me since I had been standing there for a while already. Kim came to the pick up area, attention divided not acknowledging me nor what I what I needed. Upon return the second time, she finally asked for my information. Once given to her she asked for a photo ID and I had to go back to my car for it. The purpose of online pickup is to be faster than an in store shopping experience. The time it took standing around, getting the run around and interacting with the unprofessional associate... I could have walked in the store found my item and checked out at the register way faster as that was the only line moving efficiently with ample help. I do not plan to return to this location due to her negative attitude around me questioning why I needed an ID after presenting the name, having a barcode ready (that was never asked for) considering my name is very unique and the chances of anyone coming to get the order, on this specific day/time/at that very location, who wasn't myself or spouse, would be very random and unlikely to happen. Horrible interaction with this person. Truly lacked communication and customer service skills especially for someone in leadership. She could learn a great deal from her employees who set a way better example than she did.

Their customer service has always been exceptional. The installers, each one that came were professional, neat, and very knowledgeable. Our very recent call was right before Christmas. In spite of them being very busy and it being later in the day, Larry called LJ, who just had finished a call nearby. LJ immediately turned around and came by to fix the issue. He too, was efficient, neat and informative. We were so impressed by his attention to detail as well. He did not leave until everything was perfect. In this day and age it is a challenge to find businesses that care so much about their customers and their products. We will always call them for our fireplace needs. They are among the very best!
