A young lady came over who was very polite and courteous and began collecting my information, she was told by Kim to do another task instead which was off putting for me since I had been standing there for a while already. Kim came to the pick up area, attention divided not acknowledging me nor what I what I needed. Upon return the second time, she finally asked for my information. Once given to her she asked for a photo ID and I had to go back to my car for it. The purpose of online pickup is to be faster than an in store shopping experience. The time it took standing around, getting the run around and interacting with the unprofessional associate... I could have walked in the store found my item and checked out at the register way faster as that was the only line moving efficiently with ample help. I do not plan to return to this location due to her negative attitude around me questioning why I needed an ID after presenting the name, having a barcode ready (that was never asked for) considering my name is very unique and the chances of anyone coming to get the order, on this specific day/time/at that very location, who wasn't myself or spouse, would be very random and unlikely to happen. Horrible interaction with this person. Truly lacked communication and customer service skills especially for someone in leadership. She could learn a great deal from her employees who set a way better example than she did.

Normally, places like this that sell extremely non-essential home decorating objects seem to make a point of being friendly to induce you to buy something. Not these guys. Too bad. I don't know if it's because I pulled up in a truck? (which would, by the way, rule out half the people around here) or because I was just wearing jeans (guess they don't recognize $250 jeans from the Denim Bar) - and they assumed I didn't have money to spend? I wouldn't have considered it overpriced at first - but after the passive-aggressive treatment, you don't want to give your money to people who are rude and condescending to you - so $29 starts to seem too much to pay for a coaster set or olive tray and bad customer service.

You can tell this is the kind of place where regulars stop just to chat and check up on what's new. For example, I saw a beautiful wall mirror that was pretty large that I loved they call the "venetian mirror" and I asked how much it was, it was around $600. This might sound like a lot but for a large sturdy mirror around 4 feet high I don't think it's terrible. On the other side of the store I found some french bath accessories I've been eyeballing on sale for between $5-30 each also and was happy. Then, I found a reading lamp that wasn't very large that I liked that ended up being almost $900! I don't know how this little lamp was more than the large mirror but it was.... so if you see something you like you just never know how much it might be until you ask.... it might not be as bad as you think, or it might cost as much as a new Volvo. Most of the stuff in here reminds me of something I'd find in Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's house.... rough wood tables and galileo light fixtures with mirrors and old world glass decor as well as linen couches and chairs ... to me everything is very beautiful and english/rustic.
