The place is order/pick-up at the counter or eat-in, scan QR code for menu. There is a casual dining room to the right and a full service bar/lounge to the far right. There are flatscreen TVs in the dining room and lounge showing sports. I stopped by Zo's Place in Manchester on opening day since I wanted a Northshore roast beef sandwich and pasta for takeout. The place was not too busy when I arrived here around 3pm. After scanning the menu, I quickly realized that the Nashua and Manchester locations operate on different POS systems and the pricing is generally lower in Nashua. I ordered a Eggplant with Spaghetti ($13.99 plus tax) and a Jr Roast Beef ($6.49 special) with cheese (add $1.00), horseradish, mayo and James River BBQ sauce. My order was all set to go in about 12 minutes. I raced home to enjoy the food. The Jr Roast Beef was a bit messy from being wrapped, a decent mound of soft medium well roast beef topped with an American cheese slice and smothered with mayo, horseradish, spicy James River BBQ sauce between a toasted brioche bun. I know some folks would prefer the roast beef bloody rare, but I was all good with the medium well roast beef. The pasta was packed in a foil container with soft spaghetti, thick marinara sauce and small pieces of thin breaded eggplant. The baked garlic toast was buttery sub roll halves. The owner was actually in the building. They did a great job making this place feel inviting and relaxed. I would definitely come back again to order one of their hot subs and a specialty pizza.

The gyro itself had great flavor--the ingredients were fresh, the toppings were vibrant, and the seasoning was spot on. Unfortunately, it was lukewarm when it reached the table. The taste was good enough that I kept going, but I couldn't help but think how much better it would have been served hot. A gyro with that much potential deserves to come out at full temperature, and I was disappointed that it didn't quite get there. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the ingredients make me believe this was probably an off moment in the kitchen. My meal was a waste and went in the trash after three bites. The pork was cold and had an "off" flavor. One bite that I dodged was pure fat (see photo), there appeared to be several of those. The rice was a bunch of congealed clumps (see other photo) . There is no nice way to say it, it was disgusting. I don't know what has changed, but it made me sad to see the quality of food had declined so much.

It was about $17 for two of the breakfast supreme burritos, one with avocado and sour cream which they charge extra for. The size and the weight of these burritos were more than plenty The flavor was OK. Next time I will not order this burrito again. I didn't care for the potato inside of the burrito. It seemed very overwhelming once I finished the first half so I picked them out. When I walked in to pick up my order, it was roughly at 7 AM in the morning and it was very laid-back and relaxed in there. They had all their fresh baked goods out on the counter, but as I said before, I definitely will go back and try something different from in there.
