The Fresh Market used to be one of my favorite grocery stores back in the day. Service is great, Tina upfront is always amazing. Corey the meat department is awesome. The decor and ambiance seem a little crowded lately. With my schedule I only have time to shop at night and they are usually in clean up / time to go home mode. There best crew work mornings. The last couple of times I've shopped there the food didn't seem as Fresh, I normally get Maryland Cakes, Shrimp and Turkey Burgers. The turkey burgers I purchased last time didn't look the best, they looked as if they'd been sitting in the case for a while. Not sure if I would purchase food from Fresh Market anymore but I'll still shop for wine and champagne there. If you decide to shop at The Fresh Market go early morning or mid afternoon. read more

The Fresh Market is a much calmer environment that other grocery stores. This is important as someone with chronic migraines that can get triggered by bright lights and noise. The softer lighting and quieter music are much easier to be in. The fresh sandwiches and prepared foods are very good, and the staff is excellent, especially Azia. read more

This market has been one of my go to places. I sometimes stop by the bakery for some sweets. The service has not been the greatest. It appears that the people working in this department does not want to do the work. They ignore customers and what surprises me the sloppy service. Placing contaminated cake containers inside the fresh cakes that are displayed to order. Since seeing this mishap, I'll be going somewhere else for my cakes. read more

Please be careful with The Ginger People Ginger Soother with Honey and Lemon by (gingerpeople.com). I purchased this product from this store by Door Dash back in October of this year due to me having a upset stomach and started drinking this drink right away. I then turned around maybe 3 to 4 hours later and started having bad stomach pain, vomiting, along with diarrhea and went directly to the ER, not once however twice due to this drink causing me the worst and to be out of work for almost 3 weeks due to me already having digestive issues this only made things worse after being advised that I was drinking mold that was sitting at the bottom of this product. I took the drink to the store and spoke with the Manager he right away said this is mold that you're drinking and advised me that someone would be in touch with me, however I haven't talked to anyone from the store about this situation. I reached out to the Company that was labeled on the drink and advised them about the entire situation, and both the Store and Company GingerPeople.com were very pleasant, however they have failed to resolve this matter after presenting them with documentation from the ER, photos of the drink, all medications that were taken and purchased out of pocket and not to mention my ER bill. I still have issues today with my stomach getting back on track as the doctors advised that drinks that have stuff at the bottom sitting on the self should be rotated out and if not sold within a certain time frame should be removed fast and not wait for the expiration date, or for a product to sit and produce mold. I am just advising others of my experience with this drink just be careful. read more

THE Fresh Market has entered the Top Tier Supermarket chat! I have a preferred brand of water, and The Fresh Market is the only store to carry that brand in cases (yay!). Aside from that, the house brand of bacon is phenomenal. A great balance of fat to meat ratio and cooks crisp (no limp bacon 'round here). Please keep in mind this is primarily a specialty grocery store, so don't forget to bring your wallet! I find the premade items to be hit or miss, but if you're looking for truffle something or other, I'd check here first. Happy shopping! read more

Went to Raleigh for the day and visited my old neighborhood and had to stop at this fabulous store to get some candy (2 die 4). This store is always clean and well presented, well stocked and with people that act like if they were the owners. I always spent more time and money than I wanted to but this time it was only for the candy made in Chapel Hill and some other "from NC" stuff that I can't get anywhere else. The toffees are incredible, if you are from NC and never had this you don't know what you are missing and if you are not from NC what are you waiting for. I would sell everything I have and move back just to eat the toffee, it is that good! Pizza is good and so are all the hams and chesses they have fresh. I don't think I ever returned anything I bought here. Even before this virus mess I had fallen back in love with this Fresh Market. For lots of reasons. Number one y'all...the twenty dollar meal deal! Yes, it's still going on. And yes it's still an amazing wonderful deal. For twenty bucks you can feed a family of four easily. Or if it's just the two of you (us)...two meals. And this is good food. Great quality. Favorite one is the stuffed chicken breasts. But have also enjoyed many others and am looking forward to more. This is a go to place for us. We love the selections and the overall savings when you shop playing attention to the sales. However, some of the selections have not been of the best quality lately and that is of concern. We love to get our baked goods from this location for special events. This time we got two of their bar cakes and a few other items. Coming to total of $40. No biggie - we will pay for good food - I mean come on...who wouldn't? We got home and went on with our evening as planned. Time to cut the cake! This is where the 5 star experience becomes a 3 star. The cakes where dry and 'crunchy' on the bottom. Normally, they are moist and soft. It was a total let down. The entire cake tasted like it was old - like for the strawberries, they tasted old. It didn't make for an enjoyable time. I like fresh market for the hard to find stuff you can't get elsewhere. They are oftentimes the first market in the area to carry certain smaller brands. They were the first supermarket to carry Jennie's Ice Cream and they carry Nixie which was sparkling tea I was on the hunt for. With that being said this place is expensive! I spend more here than I do at any other supermarket. Mostly because I pick up random things, but that doesn't necessarily make for a good dinner night. I also don't like that a lot of their baked goods have a super lengthy list of ingredients you can't pronounce. For the price I'd expect the baked goods to be cleaner, ingredients wise. While not inexpensive they do always have an impressive floral section. It is a great place to pick up an impressive bunch of flowers. I also like their Valentine's deal which includes lobster tails, filet mignon, chocolate covered strawberries, sides, and a dozen roses. The store may be clean but the food is the most expensive compared to any other wonderful, organic food store. It is outrageously expensive and just bought a salad which has no dressing included. Merry Christmas, I said to my neighbors, as I handed them a box of chocolate chunk cookies, that I purchased from the Fresh Market. Yes, you heard me. Every time the holiday season comes around, I buy all seven of my neighbors, chocolate chip cookies from the fresh market. There are many cookies stuffed in the box, and they taste amazing. They make the perfect gift to friends or family. Because, who doesn't love cookies on Christmas?! Basically what I'm saying is, The Fresh Market has amazing selections, all around. Everything is just absolutely scrumptious. The store is well cleaned and there are many items to browse. Sometimes, I get lost in the candy and bakery section because everything looks amazing! I'll visit The Fresh Market for those one-of-a-kind items and definitely for sushi-grade sashimi tuna when I am making my own sushi at home -- when you are eating raw fish, you can't mess around! When making sushi at home, I obtain all my ingredients from TFM. They have a great meat counter and a veritable plethora of cheeses. The produce section seems to be somewhat limited as compared to other grocers. The downsides are that the store is difficult to navigate, this shopping area's parking lot is always crowded, and the prices are high. read more

I enjoy shopping at The Fresh Market. I love their Deli, roasted chickens and Bakery are the best, so I thought I would try their frozen Fresh Market tomato and cheese pizza. I was so disappointed. I am all about this Fresh Market location. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, on top of the quality food and cleanliness, you really can't go wrong! I used to think they were a little pricey but they've got some of the greatest deals around! For instance they have $2.99 Tuesday's which is ground chuck for $2.99 per pound and boneless chicken breasts for $2.99 per pound as well. Nothing is prepackaged so if you're dining for one go ahead and get that 1/2 pound. I get mine individually wrapped for 1.5lbs. They also have weekly specials that consist of buy one get ones amongst other great deals. Here are a few little gems I have found, the fresh market brand frozen pizzas ($4.99 but on sale for $2.99 often) so good, blueberry cornbread from the deli, fresh market deli turkey, glass coke bottles that they'll open for you at the register, just to name a few things why I love this place! read more

I purchased the holiday turkey package from The Fresh Market and I had to write a review and give it high marks. The package included a turkey breast, stuffing, potatoes and cranberry. My children are picky eaters. They are everything with no complaints, my pickiest eater even asked for more. I was pleasantly surprised. I go to the Fresh Market for the deli sandwiches and the coffee. I got sandwiches there this past Tuesday night and I was very disappointed. It was supposed to be ham and cheese. Review is for the fish: I travel along the southeast a bit and I like to stop at a Fresh Market and cook a meal rather than eat out. This Fresh Market, unlike the other ones I've been to, does not understand how to cut neither tuna nor sea bass. Chilean sea bass is not supposed to be cut in 1inch steaks. It's minimum 2inches thick. Most places in Florida are closer to 3in thick. If I'm paying $30/lb+ for sea bass, it should at least be cut correctly. Same goes for the sashimi grade tuna. I've talked to the fishmonger there and he just blames some other person that cut it. Please do it correctly like the rest of the stores in the southeast. The rest of the store would get 5 stars btw. read more

First time at this store and it wasn't the best experience. I looked around and noticed the prices were higher but thought it would be fine because I'm paying for fresh, quality food so I'm okay with paying more. I went home on Sunday and on Monday, cut into a head of lettuce I bought only to find that the entire inside was covered in mold and I was completely disgusted (see image). When I asked another employee, she looked at my like I wasn't speaking English. I was disappointed by their selection of vegan options, but I was even more disappointed by the fact that the eclair I did get from their dessert counter was completely frozen in the middle. I love shopping here, and feel their mask policy shows a level of care for their employees and customers that impresses me. As a care giver for someone who has a compromised immune system I really appreciate not having to stress quite as much going out to get groceries. Fresh Market has changed and in the Deli, not for the better. Sandwiches are hard from being in there to long. Customer service (in the deli) is non-existence. The counter people are sullen and act like you are invisible. Far cry from the before remodel deli. The produce section is overpriced and frankly underwhelming!
