However, there was a ton of live plants and truckloads of fresh vegetables for sale. Couple that with gourmet cheeses and baked and canned goods and you have a situation you could spend a lot of money on. As a snack, we bought a jalapeño cheese roll which was very good. You could definitely do some wallet damage here. I'd like to see this place on a weekend. My one criticism are the produce prices. $3.99/lb for slicing tomatoes and $12 for a watermelon. Other produce is equally expensive. This is rather boujee pricing and it's obvious they aren't targeting the average consumer. I love supporting local farmers but prices like this make it difficult. Come and check it out for yourself. It really is a sight to see and you could spend a whole morning or afternoon here. But guard your wallet. It would be easy to get carried away here.

Small produce, bakery, and meats section. A larger variety of food stuffs/groceries from the Middle East and India. Spices, sweets, canned goods, and much more. What I found interesting was that all the prices seemed very reasonable for these imported goods. I don't do a ton of cooking from this region but I am curious to learn more. And I'll certainly be back to explore. Managed to find my first Dubai chocolate bar here so thank you!

The rest of the shop was pretty much the same as most Mediterranean markets. They had lots of spices, a small meat counter, some nuts, cheeses and some frozen items. I was hoping to see a fresh olive bar (they are the "Olive Tree," after all!), but they didn't have one. Prices were reasonable, but the frozen foods prices seemed a bit on the high side.

Every employee greeted us right when we walked in, and they even gave each of us a cup of their lentil soup to try, "on the house." Multiple employees also checked in during our meal to ask how everything was and whether we were enjoying the food. You could genuinely tell they cared about our experience, and that kind of hospitality goes a long way. Solid food, great value, and even better service. Definitely worth checking out!

They will do that while you wait. You want that special beef cut from shoulder, they got it. It's mostly run by one guy, and he is very friendly. The place is clean, as far as I can see. Prices are very good, you pay almost the same as departmental stores, but obviously get higher quality meat . Skin off cut-up chicken is 1.99$/lb only, which I buy weekly. And parking 5 feet away from the store, getting in and out in 5 minutes only, while the guy asks how is your family doing ---now that's priceless.

Additionally, they quit carrying about a dozen (or more) Campbell's soups! Where there once were labels for each soup section, there are now white sheets. I asked about this and they told me they don't know why they quit carrying those soups. By the way, I contacted Campbell's, and they told me they have not quit making Campbell's Chicken Broth or Beef Broth! Wegmans is 100%. No, make that 1,000% better! Just say "No" to Food Lion!

I've lived in Raleigh for 14 years, and while I've enjoyed a few things from The Fresh Market before, I had never tried their bakery items. When I saw them on the Too Good To Go app, I decided it was the perfect excuse to run out and try it. My first two interactions were fantastic--the lovely elderly woman in the bakery and the sweet cashier checking me out were absolutely amazing and treated me with genuine kindness. However, the front-end manager (I believe her name was Tip or Tiff) completely ruined the experience. Her demeanor was an absolute deterrent. In an interaction that lasted less than three minutes, she hounded the cashier, repeating four or five times: *"Make sure you watch her scan it on the app."* The first time she said it, I thought nothing of it--just standard store process. But repeating it aggressively that many times while I, a Black customer, am just standing there rubbed me entirely the wrong way. To make matters worse, I had also picked up a granola bar to purchase. The manager came over *again*, hounding the girl: *"What are you doing? I have to make sure. Did you actually see her scan it?"* I felt incredibly sorry for the poor cashier, and frankly, I felt targeted. It is deeply frustrating to still deal with people acting like I don't belong in spaces where I absolutely do--and it's even more disheartening when that energy comes from another minority. If I had known I'd be treated with that level of baseline suspicion, I wouldn't have even spent money on the granola bar. That manager's behavior completely turned me away from ever spending my money at this store again. I truly hope this is a lesson for her in how she treats people. To the sweet cashier and the wonderful woman in the bakery, thank you for being decent human beings--I hope you both have an amazing day.

The freshest vegetables that you can find around and if for some reason you find some that is not they will exchange without questions, once in a blue moon because the name of the game is to move the produce quickly and they do, some days that I got there after 3pm the place was almost empty. Juan #1 is German but was raised in Mexico and speaks, German, Spanish and English fluently and works from about 4am until 3Pm Juan #2 and the other members of the team work very hard to have your order ready when you get there. Prices are very fair and far cheaper that Big Produce companies in the area. The last time I was there about a month ago I got me a box of beets that I shared with some of the neighbors
