This was such a find!!! I really never got passed their bakery section. I hit this place at the best time. Everything looked amazing and fresh some of their breads were still warm. I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up getting a couple of their cheese sticks and salami bread sticks and a loaf of their provolone salami cobblestone savory bread plus a red velvet cake. I am definitely coming here again the next time I am in the area.

Fruit infused water at the entrance.

This Lowes has been renovated and love the Barn Yard theme and all the updates! The fresh food section always has a nice selection of fresh cut fruit. The bread and deli section also had plenty of locally baked breads and sandwiches that were pre-made and looked awesome. This location now has the Beer Den and you can get a growler from Lowes and have it filled with all kinds of local craft beer at a minimal price. Everything is clean and fresh and I do like how Lowes has renovated their stores and put more of an emphasis on fresh displays and food preparation. This is just as nice as the one in Cary and love shopping here!

This Lowes Foods has some of the best fried chicken around in their Deli section. Crispy and extremely tasty!

I love that there's a beer den where you can get a growler filled with one of 8 or 9 local rotating brews.

The service was very good with what seemed to be a newer server. She checked in quite often until it was time to bring the check. Had to ask her for that after about a 10 minute wait after she cleaned off the table. Outside of that, very friendly and attentive. The ACP had very thin slices of chicken which was nice, but not as much cheese as you typically see in other restaurants. According to the server, you do have to ask for some flour tortillas on the side if you want them as they don't come by default. The Pollo Tropical had a nice thin layer of chicken breast covered in cheese.... tasty. The margaritas were good and have a smear of taijin on one side of the rim which gives the drink a little spice. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area. Definitely would recommend it.

We also got the guacamole, which was yummy and made table side. Then I ordered a quesadilla fajita. Typically quesadilla fajitas have melted cheese in line but this one didn't. Our waitress was amazing! She was sweet and attentive. I'll definitely go back but will likely order the burrito which I've found to be delicious.

We visited Anchor Bar Restaurant as a family, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing…read more I counted approximately 20 screens throughout the restaurant, and I completely understand that we are in the height of football season. The restaurant was full of excitement for the Buffalo Bills game, which was great to see. However, we specifically asked if just one of the many screens could show the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup gold medal game against France. Our waiter was kind enough to ask the manager, but we could never get a clear yes or no about whether the game could be shown. That was the most frustrating part of the experience. We weren't asking for the main screens to be changed or for football fans to miss their game--we simply hoped that a sports bar with approximately 20 televisions could dedicate one screen to an international women's championship game. We were under a time constraint, so we fed our daughter before dropping her off nearby. My original plan was to stay at the restaurant, continue eating and having drinks, and wait for my spouse to return. Instead, because we couldn't get a clear answer, we left and found another establishment nearby with only about five screens. They were able to accommodate us, and we watched the remainder of the game there. A sports bar should ideally be a place where fans of different sports feel welcome, particularly when there are enough screens to accommodate multiple events. I understand that football is incredibly popular, but women's sports--and basketball fans--deserve space at the table too. I hope management will consider this in the future.
