We arrived at 7pm for supper and the place was busy. Checked in and was told it would be an hour wait. We waited because being on the lake is just soothing. Many, and I do mean many people left angry and upset because of the wait. So that moved our wait to .30 minutes instead. Our waitress was nice but she didn't know her job well. We ordered our meals with salads. The meals came but not the salads. She apologized and said the kitchen had messed the order up. I canceled my salad because I wanted my salad before my meal. My wife took her salad to go. I had the smash burger and it was just ok. Not over the top like I was hoping. All the restaurant had was fries but I was hoping for onion rings. The fries were good but had way too much seasoning salt on them so I couldn't eat them all. My wife had the blackened fish tacos and said it was good but way over spicy for a fish. Our meal was over $50 and that was too much in my opinion. When leaving we walked out on the deck and noticed people sitting at an area down on the water and a live band. I asked 3 different staff about the building on the dock and no one could tell me if it was another restaurant or just a bar. The staff I asked said they had never walked down there to see. Every staff member should know about what is on the property grounds. After walking out my spouse said she needed a restroom. I noticed one in a cabin like building by the boat ramp. She went there and walked out. She said both commodes were overflowing and both were stopped up with toilet paper. She said there was feces on the floor. A staff member should check those restrooms once a hour and sign a paper saying the restrooms were checked for cleanliness, toilet paper and sink soap. I don't believe we will go back for a while. All of the people leaving upset went to a place down the road called Pleasure Isle. We may try that out next. The new owners must not know much about management.
