Connor was great! Very attentive to our table considering that we went on a busy Saturday afternoon. This place is fairly quiet considering that it gets pretty packed in the bar area. We had some oysters & fries and everything was tasty! Check out their happy hour prices, well worth it.

We had a pleasant time. The staff was great and made our experience enjoyable. We went specifically to try out their happy hour and the menu was just OK. Not a lot of selection. There's way better happy hours in the Santa Rosa area and no drinks were on the happy hour menu it was just two dollars off the regular full price cocktails which was a little disappointing. We probably won't be back for happy hour, but it was a good experience to try.

I've been to John Ash countless times for dinner and I've always heard great things about The Front Room's happy hour. Today was the day I finally tried them out. We stopped by right around 4 pm for after work drinks. The Front Room wasn't to busy and we opted for seating at the bar. The happy hour specials/drinks weren't great in comparison to other happy hours we've tried but we enjoyed the extensive cocktail, wine and menu options. We ordered 2 shots of Casamigos tequila reposado ($15 ea), truffle fries to share and I ordered myself a mocktail ($12). I'll admit the mocktail I had was the BEST I've had in forever. I've cut back on drinking significantly and I was overjoyed to see they offered multiple mocktail options! Summer 2024 I'm on a mission to find the best happy hour spot in Sonoma County. Oddly the mocktail options here put The Front Room in my top 3 picks for top contender. 8/10 for happy hour specials. The overall happy hour ambiance was lively. All staff members we encountered were kind and friendly. Definitely returning.

Cocktails are conversation in a glass. One of my favorite after work Happy hour locations to relax with a glass of wine or a creative cocktail. With views of the vineyards - the patio and the bar -offer cozy spots for generous weekday small plates and seasonal cocktails. My favorite drink-the espresso martini . Overall-a perfect location and a lovely happy hour. Service: Connor was exceptional. He was attentive and knowledgeable. The service was outstanding. Connor C. was the most incredible server we've ever experienced in the area. His attention to detail, his memory, his customer service focus, made our first night in the wine country most memorable. The landscape and vibe was just perfect for small gatherings and greet conversations with friends. Many laughs and great times were had next to the fire pits. Thank you Connor from all your new Louisiana friends.

Great place to meet up with friends for happy hour! Classy, old school vibe in the midst of a vineyard. Patio seating for warmer weather. Great martinis, and the best lemon drops! Fish tacos are a fav and great service for how busy it can get!

First time eating in the Front Room at John Ash for quite a few years. Mostly small plates on the menu. We shared a plate of marinated olives and chipotle cauliflower wings. The cauliflower could have used a little more spice. I went with "Tips and Toast," Angus filet tips, mixed mushrooms a la crème, garlic roasted ciabatta, with whipped potatoes. My wife went with Grilled Fish Tacos made with halibut, La Tortilla Factory handmade tortillas, cilantro cream, chipotle salsa, and slaw. To finish, my wife chose a trio of gelatis, and I went with a chocolate cremeux cake with peanut butter gelati. The setting is very nice. The food was very tasty, but service was a little slow between courses.

It's a wonderful place to go to after a long day of wine tasting. They make great cocktails and delicious small plates.

I just started going to Final Edition (in the Larkfield area of Santa Rosa) for Monday night…read moretrivia. I've lived most of my life here in town and never ventured in until I noticed they had trivia. This is a cool little bar. Staff has been friendly and outgoing each of my visits. I haven't purchased food, but I've been with people who have and it looks pretty dang good. Cocktails are a little less inexpensive here too, compared to those upscale places you might get a drink at (they're probably better here too). Obvious win there. There are a few local beers on tap, to go along with the national brands. Ambiance is like you'd expect in a place like this...neon bar signs, pool tables, plenty of stools at the bar and a few tables to sit back and eat. I also noticed besides trivia, they have bingo, karaoke and occasional live music. I kind of dig this place. I kind of have to go back...I won a gift card while playing trivia!!

We came with a regular on a Monday around 1pm and were seated in a dining area beyond the pool tables. We ordered Modelos ($13/each) and service from the bartender was quick. They are known for their burgers as the chef used to work at Roger's Drive In (famous in Santa Rosa). Husband ordered the Monday special meatloaf, which was Billy Moore's (owner Patrick's uncle) famous recipe. It was huge and served with mashed potato for $13.50. Husband said it was moist and delicious. I had the Reuben sandwich on marble rye with onion rings. Reuben was large and served with sauerkraut and Russian dressing for $13.50, plus $3.50 for the onion rings. It was very tasty and quite filling. The onion rings were golden brown and served with a nice ranch dressing (maybe homemade). The bar was very nice except the ladies bathrooms which was a little run down but still clean (the reason for minus one star). If I lived in the area, I'd definitely go there for lunch. I understand it's a younger, rowdier crowd at night with live bands.

There's almost zero damping and no acoustic management whatsoever. It has the appearance of an attractive venue without the functional reality. It was incredibly painful with the voices of all the talking along with the music ringing in our ears. The conversations of people were amplified by the design of the facility to the point where they were competing with the fully amplified '90s band that I heard called joose. In addition, they appear to have no comprehension about how to actually create an appropriate acoustic management system. There are no damping systems, no soft surfaces, it's like they didn't even ask anybody who knows anything about anything about how to do acoustic design. It's entirely appearance based. We will never return here again for anything other than a cocktail or maybe a karaoke event. It was a waste of $20. Per person. We effectively paid $40 for a couple to be acoustically tortured for 2 hours. We kept hoping it would get better but it didn't I thought maybe once more people came in they might help but it didn't help they just got louder. I can't believe that nobody else has complained about this before.

However, these performers just lip sang and walked around collecting tips. Hardly any interaction with the crowd. The '3 course meal' was awful. First course was a small cinnamon bun and mini chocolate crossiant, second course was a tiny portion of french toast casserole and egg frita, and then dessert. It was all sugar- no protein, or fruit. Definitely felt like a rip off.

The place was empty beside us but it was nice and quiet. They have a really nice selection of beers on tap and a good variety of food choices. They have tv's playing sports and it feels like a place where you could hang out for hours. On this visit, I tried the "Dream of Jupiter" red ale. It wasn't my favorite. A little too hoppy for my taste, but still a good drink to have with food. For food, we ordered the BBQ Nachos with Tri-tip , and some wings. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again.
