Both dishes came with miso soup. The bibimbap came with bean sprouts, zucchini, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, radishes, beef bulgogi, a sunny side up fried egg, and of course rice. You get your choice of sauce and I got the Korean chili paste, on the side. The bibimbap itself was really good, although not entirely authentic tasting. The beef bulgogi was nice and lean, and I just wished there was more of it. The chili paste had a nice spicy kick to it and I really enjoyed mixing it into my bowl. I requested no sesame seeds in my meal and there weren't any sesame seeds. The miso soup was too salty for my tastes and also only lukewarm, and not hot enough. The kimchi wasn't too pungent nor too spicy. I normally don't like kimchi, but this one wasn't bad. It was milder than most, so yes, with kimchi, I prefer less authentic, lol. My husband liked his dish. I had a taste of the sweet and sour chicken. It was breaded chicken and then tossed in a sweet, sour and spicy sauce. He had a choice of rice or noodles and he got rice. His dish also came with some red cabbage and lettuce, which added a pop of colour and some vegetables to be healthier, lol. Service was efficient. When you're done, you pay at the counter. The place is not the fanciest, but the food and prices are good by Ottawa standards (I've had better for cheaper in Toronto and Montreal, but I don't live in either of those places anymore, so I accept Ottawa for what it is). We ordered the sesame balls, veggie spring rolls, sweet potato croquettes, tofu spicy fried noodles, and Singapore noodles. The sesame balls and the veggie spring rolls were reminiscent of the stuff you'd get at an AYCE restaurant, but they were still good. The sweet potato croquettes was a first for me, and they were very much like a large hash brown, but super fluffy inside. My suggestion is to wait for them to cool down a bit and eat them warm or room temperature. My toddler loved these, but I thought they were just OK. The Korean spicy fried noodles was the star of the show, although a bit too greasy for my liking, they did hit the spot. I really enjoyed their take on cooking tofu. I think they took deep fried puffed tofu, flattened it down and fried it with the noodles, where it resembled sliced pork. There was a lot of nice color to it, as well as a slight char, and the texture was amazing. Keep it mind, it was a tad greasy as well. I didn't care for the Singapore noodles. My hubby loves this dish, but said he's had it made better else where, so its all personal preference. I do like that you can customize a lot of the meals into vegetarian meals, so major kudos to that. I don't crave Asian cuisine all that often, so I don't think I will be rushing back, but it was nice to switch things up and try out something new.

He advised that next time she should come in to the takeout provide her name and phone number and they would give her a club sandwich for takeout. Two weeks later she did so and the manager said that manager was wrong and there would be no complimentary club. Thumbs down on them. My friend and I ordered the sweet potato fries as an appetizer; we were both pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were! The dipping sauce was NOT as spicy as we thought it might be. For our main course, we both got the chicken with Spanish rice and vegetables (she got white meat and I got dark meat). The rice was spicy enough to make my nose run! The veggies were only ok. I do love yellow and red peppers! And then to round off the celebration, we each had desert: she had the strawberry shortcake, and I had the chocolate lava volcano. Awesome to the last drop! The default drink is a can of pop. I got a bottle of water, which is no extra charge, but if you get juice, it's an additional $0.50. For the fried chicken you have a choice of regular or spicy. I chose regular. The sandwich comes with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, a slice of marble cheese, and a thick and juicy piece of fried chicken breast. The sauces are a spicy mayo on the bottom bun and a regular mayo on the top bun. I loved that they use real cheese slices and not that processed Kraft Singles-like stuff. Extra points for that. My only real complaint is that in the pictures in the store and on the menu online, the bun is a brioche without seeds on it. But the actual product comes on a sesame seed bun! Gah! I can't eat sesame seeds so I had to throw out the bun and eat the sandwich bunless. Luckily they gave me a knife and fork! The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The breading on the chicken was really crispy and delicious. The chicken was real lean breast meat and was thick and juicy. I loved it. I might try just the fried chicken next time, and I'll get the spicy option ;) Fries are breaded and likely from frozen but they were crispy and I enjoyed them. The chicken here is Halal. Service was friendly. Takeout only during these Pandemic times. Staff were wearing masks. They are relatively new and are a small independent business. I definitely recommend checking them out if you like fried chicken. The restaurant is in the Emvale Acres Shopping Centre. Lots of free parking.

Ok, no problem, I got the Dinner 2B instead. The menu price was $30.95 but the price went up as I was charged $32.95. I get it, the Pandemic has been hard for some businesses. It took about 20 minutes, so I left and drove to a nearby cafe to get a drink. When I came back about 25 minutes later the food was ready and waiting for me. It was in a paper bag and stapled at the top. I put it in my trunk and drove home. When I got home, I opened my trunk and the paper bag was wet and ripped. Some of the containers were rolling around in my trunk. The soup had leaked and the inside of my trunk was wet with broth. I was very thankful that I asked to have the Wonton soup instead of the Hot and Sour soup. I think the latter would have been a bigger mess. So I brought the food into the house and I saw that there was a small hole in the lid of the soups. Gah! I guess this is good for venting of the soup, but very bad for transport! If you get takeout from this place and get soup, make sure you secure the bag, so it stays completely upright. Anyway, the food itself was ok overall, some dishes were better than others. The Wonton soup was pretty good. You get 2 wontons per soup. There was a good amount of filling (ground pork), so they weren't mostly wrapper. The broth had green onions and Chinese cabbage in it. It was not too salty. The General Tao Chicken had a spicy kick to it, which I liked. It was all dark meat though, but not too gristley at least. The batter was a bit soggy. However, the flavour was good. This dish did not contain any vegetables. The Hunan Beef was a bit chewy. It too had a nice spicy kick to it. This dish had lots of vegetables in it: broccoli, onions, carrots, water chestnuts, celery, green peppers, and baby corn. It also had mushrooms. The chicken fried rice was mostly plain fried rice, with a few small pieces of chicken here and there. It was ok. The spring rolls were also ok, but nothing to write home about. It had ground pork and onions in it. Overall, not a bad meal, but I personally did not find it anything special that would make it stand out in a crowd. Although, it's not a bad choice if you live in the area. I noticed that they do sell dim sum, which is not that easy to find in Ottawa, let alone the suburbs of Ottawa, so they do have that going for them. The restaurant is in a strip mall with free parking.
