Great service! Enjoyed the ice cream. My husband had milk chocolate and I had old fashioned vanilla. Our server Tony was so friendly and pleasant our experience ordering was great. Recommend!

The fishery is a fudge and desert establishment in Destin Florida in the very popular and crowded harborwalk village. Me and my family on vacation decided to do a dolphin tour and the starting point was on the harbor walk village right across from the fudgery. It was about 5 min our boat was to dock when we both realized that the one year old hadn't eaten anything in awhile because she slept through our lunch a bit earlier. So realizing we was gonna be on the water for a few hours I made a mad dash to find something quick, no line and snackish for a one year old. Everything around is big food establishments so I make a bee line for the fudgery. I walk up and look really quickly at the delicious options and just go with a a big piece of rocky road fudge. They did have all kinds of tasty looking options that I wouldn't have mind to try. Some looked real good. The fudge cost almost $11 (holy tourism price hikes Batman). The workers were friendly and quick. I didn't even have to ask them to rush because I was playing beat the clock. I made it back with 2 min to spare and the baby was very happy with her fudge snack. So was the rest of the kids who also grabbed some bites. Overall it will be a fun memory. While I didn't spend much time or sample the menu much I can say they are super expensive compared to other fudge places. Which is to be expected in a hot spot tourist place. They had a large selections and the workers from my brief interaction were friendly and Efficient. Maybe I'll come back some day without the time restraints.

Cookie Dough Ice Cream in a waffle cone. So good!

Walked in and it was very crowded. People were standing everywhere, no lines so it was very confusing to see where I was supposed to get my ice cream. (Whether I was supposed to go to cashier first or the glass window and get my ice cream.) The young female worker at the register was hesitant to take my order (assume I was supposed to go to the glass first, not register) and then she walked to the male worker who was making the waffle cones to get one for me. He looked back and rolled his eyes at me then told the other customer who he was making that cone for that I "took her cone" so she glared at me the whole time. Trash was scattered on the floor by the counter. Overall very uncomfortable experience with the staff. No communication or organization and staff members were less than helpful / welcoming.

Our group had a great experience at The Fudgery! I was the only one to get ice cream and it was great, I got a decent amount for about $3.50 and it tasted so good. My friends all got some fudge and I tried a few bites and they were good. The man making fudge was a hit with everyone, and he had us all pledge allegiance to fudge. It was a great time!

Nestled neatly in the Harbor Walk is the Fudgery. This place is not something to walk by. We were looking for something sweet to get for the kids and something that would transport well. This place is like hitting the fudge jackpot!! Walking in, your nose is immediately greeted with the sweet, chocolate aroma of fresh fudge being made in these Huge copper cauldrons. At the center of the shop was this expansive glass showcase with these award-worthy confections the likes I've never seen. There were countless flavors of fudge, fudge dipped marshmallows, and other treats. We ultimately decided on two of their fudge-dipped rice crispy treats on a stick. These things were massive and coated in mini M&Ms. For ourselves we decided on their fudge turtles... or as we called them, fudge tortoises. These things were packed in chewy caramel, pecans, and coated in their marvelous fudge. So great. The caramel was so fresh and delicious. It didn't stick to your teeth either. We literally could have picked anything in the place and have enjoyed it.

I'm not too big on fudge, but while I was down in Destin Florida, I kept passing this place on the corner of the boardwalk. It smelled delightful. Finally I decided to give in and try it. They have all sorts of different desserts. Smoothies, Shakes, Malts, Icecream, and of course Fudge. The girl at the register greeted me with a big smile on her face and offered me a sample of the rocky road fudge. It was delicious! It was rich, but not overpowering, and it melted in my mouth. I decided to get a chocolate strawberry shake. The shake was just as great; milk chocolate with strawberry drizzle and whipped cream. I almost couldn't finish it because it got too rich, but it was so good. I'm glad I stopped here to give it a try.

The ice cream and the rice krispy treats were so good but my five star rating is mainly for the wonderful staff! I stopped in twice last week and was always warmly greeted and helped by the girls at the register. They were patient while I debated on which item I was going to get from the case, were friendly, and actually had manners which is rare for people these days. Service matters to me. It should be recognized when it is good because it is hard to come by. Also, the fudge looked great. I didn't want to gain any weight so I passed on it but sure wish I had gotten some to take home. Next time I guess. If you're in town get a rice krispy treat and enjoy a walk down the harbor.

Strawberry cream cheese yogurt and banana gelato.

Boardwalks are known for their variety of offerings for shopping and eateries. We stopped at The Fudgery to check out their sweets and treats. They have loads of different fudges( one sf), candied apples, smoothies, milk shakes and froyo. The frozen treats area consists of yogurt, gelato, and a custard. We went to the frozen yogurt bar and decided on a cup of strawberry cheesecake frozen yogurt with banana gelato with peanuts and pecans. They have a table with lots of fruit, candy and nuts for toppings. The prices are about average for a boardwalk. Our cool treats were pretty sweet, but of course good and cold. I'd stop by again to cool off on a hot day.

My family and I went here for ice cream after having lunch at the City Food Hall. They had a good variety of flavors for both ice cream and gelato. My wife and my son got their favorite choice of gelato flavors. I went with Blood Orange and Mango sorbetto flavors. Their gelato and sorbetto are homemade. Their ice cream is provided by Blue Bell. The gelato and sorbetto flavors were good. I liked my choice of Blood Orange. It was refreshing and delicious. The Mango flavor was good as well. We had a good experience here. The service was nice and friendly. The shop was clean and inviting. I would go back here if I am in Destin again. Definitely check them out if you haven't before.

The concretes were thick, creamy, and packed with flavor--exactly what you want from a frozen custard shop. The portions were generous, and even the small size felt substantial. What made the experience even better was the atmosphere. We arrived around sunset, and the dramatic cloud-filled sky over the shop made for a picture-perfect backdrop. The location had a steady line of customers, but service moved quickly and the staff were friendly and efficient. The shop has that classic beach-town dessert stand feel--simple, nostalgic, and focused on serving quality frozen treats. Seeing families, kids, and vacationers all enjoying custard together added to the charm. For just over $21 after tax for two specialty concretes, the value felt reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes.
