Beignets & Brew is a vibrant addition to the Destin area. My husband and I stopped here before getting on the road. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and despite arriving just before the crowd, we still encountered a slight wait. We had an assortment of beignets, including traditional, cinnamon sugar, cinnamon swirl, and the seasonal honey graham. The honey butter chicken croissant, salted caramel mocha, and seasonal tea complemented our beignets perfectly. Each bite was flavorful, and the croissant was a soft and pillowy. The guy working there wasn't the friendliest but the beignets and coffee were good! The parking was confusing. All the spots by it say parking for the edge only but I think you can park on the other side of the lot. I just had my husband drop me off and I went and ordered since it's counter takeout only. The bites are actually bite size and you get 24 for $10 and I got chocolate sauce to dip them in which I definitely recommend you do too! This spot is right next to the dock where I was catching my boat to Crab Island, so I stopped in for a quick bite. I ordered the honey butter chicken crossiant, and it was delicious. This place is I wanna say literally just past AJ's when you're coming from the Emerald grande. The coffee is bigger and better than the ones you get closer to the hotel and more affordable. We found beignets and brew on yelp for morning coffee when we visited Destin and we all loved it. The first trip we only had coffees and if you order a large iced latte it is huge! Coffees were good and we decided to go a second time for an afternoon snack and hot coffees and beignets this time. These beignets rival the best of the best in New Orleans. I loved their spin with the mini beignets. Each one was crispy and fried to perfection with just the right dough to powdered sugar ratio. The sweet cream sauce on the side is so good we poured the extra into our iced coffees so we didn't waste a drop! The employees were very nice. And the shop is downhill on an uneven surface so maybe keep that when planning your visit. It's a small window to order and pick up with cute little tables on the pier. Last week I went to try the new location at FWB and i fell in love with their Beignet and Coffee. So i am craving for more and decide to go to the location nearby my house in Destin. There is a dark guy taking my order then he also making my coffee. He doesn't make it like what i have at FWB. It's no coffee taste and he forget to give me a biscuit which should come with my latte. I have to walk back and ask for it. Then he makes wrong order of my beignet. He just see me standing there don't say anything. Later he just said give me a box. The Beignets are a TREAT! My son, daughter and I shared a box of 24 bite size Beignets and we could have eaten more. We tried the Blueberry, Butter Cream and Chocolate sauces and each of our favorites was different. We also tried different coffees and each of us was pleased. We enjoyed being on the peer. For once, the internet didn't lie. I grabbed the Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte iced (basically dessert disguised as coffee), while my better half went with the Honey Cinnamon-Lavender iced coffee (fancy enough to require a pinky lift). Both drinks were excellent--sweet, smooth, and exactly what we didn't know we needed. Now, let's talk beignets. We ordered two each of the Cinna-Swirl, Turtle, Traditional, and Nutella. They came out hot, golden, and pillowy--like they'd been fried by angels on shore leave. Each flavor held its own, but the Turtle one? Oh I wish there was one of these up in Dayton ohio. I stayed in Florida for a month and was eating these every other day. Even bought t-shirt , lol I miss them so much! The Nutella beignets were my favorite! You get 3 in an order. Got the regular ones as well and that came with 4 in an order. Definitely would not order a lot if you can't eat them in 1 day. B&B is next to The Edge Seafood Restaurant & Sky Bar and is also in the same vicinity as Boathouse Oyster Bar. That said, I assume parking would be challenging around dinner but we visited in the early afternoon on a weekday so luckily didn't have any issues finding parking. Whew. I got the iced honey cinnamon lavender latte and it did not taste like fresh espresso; it tasted like a brewed pot of coffee that's been sitting out all day, and furthermore, it was so much milk that it seemed there was only a tbsp of coffee in it. Beware if you order a large iced coffee, it is the largest ice coffee you have ever seen! Tastes like a zeppole, I got small ones, and one large. I prefer the large as they have more pastry like feel. The small ones are just too small to get the beignet feel.
