We had to administer an EpiPen and seek medical care. Afterward, I tasted the smoothie myself and it was clearly made with peanut. When we contacted the store, we were told they were aware of the incident and that a report had been filed, but there was little acknowledgment of the seriousness of what occurred. This was not a preference or dietary request--it was a clearly communicated, life-threatening allergy. This was not a minor mistake--this was a life-threatening situation that could have ended very differently. I am incredibly disappointed.
