the food is good, but delivery is sporadic. When you're spending $130 on food, you should not be given a 3 day (!) delivery window to receive your order. Please heed the warnings from everyone in these reviews. I ordered from this company after seeing all the negative reviews hoping I would be one of the few to have a good experience. I placed my first order the first week of January 2023. I order 15 meals and about half arrived already spoiled. I could smell the decaying food before I even opened the box. The meals are vacuumed sealed but they had already started to become undone. Also they only put one ice pack in the box so the food doesn't stay cold long enough during the shipping process. I ordered the second week off January to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the new year holiday interfered with the processing but the second week was the same issue with the spoiled meals. So I just canceled my subscription and cutting my losses as I have seen many bad reviews about trying to recoup money due spoiled meals. I have been ordering from meal prep companies for 5 years now and this would have to be the worst so far when it comes to multiple entrees arriving spoiled back to back. Also another item to mention is that there are no use by dates on any of the packaging. I remember other reviews mentioning this but I think it bears repeating. read more

I was excited to try this out, did some initial research, and signed up for emails. However, they sent me an email every single day. I kind of expected this, but what I didn't anticipate was the level of difficulty in trying to unsubscribe from their emails. The marketing team decided to write their email such that the unsubscribe email is invisible, regardless of what mode (dark or light) you are viewing the email in. Even trying to highlight where I expected the unsubscribe link proved ineffective. This is discriminatory toward people with disabilities and those that find it difficult to work with technology, all to have their terrible deals pop up in your inbox daily. If they are this devious in their marketing practices, I don't ever want to consume food by them. This lines up with the myriad of negative reviews I see about them, and I'm glad the only thing I gave them was the time to write this review. read more

Update 4/7/2022 The new packaging with the shrink wrap has corrected my previous concerns about the constant spoiling issue. These also make the meal quality better as they now heat consistently. They have improved greatly in the last year and are now more stable. I switched to the meals that only consist of meat and broccoli and my fitness has improved. I am now 5 8 170 rather than 185 when I switched back in Nov 2021. read more

*update review* My fiance who ordered a batch of meals for the 1st time as a ONE TIME order just got emailed they will be repeating the order and he was charged again...from what I have read about this place and their customer service...I am sure it will be a nightmare! Save yourself the trouble! I did not order the food or get to choose...my fiance was being sweet because I just started school and wanted to give me a break from cooking. He ordered food he thought I would like...like chicken dishes and breakfast and he ordered some fish dishes (I don't eat fish). I tried the mango chicken and it turned me WAY OFF to the point I wont be open to try any more meals. The chicken was waaaaay bland and flavorless, which ok fine I can spice up with flavor God or chili, it was the fact that every piece was chewy beyond swallowing. I literally ate just the rice which defeats the purpose of getting my protein in...if I wanted rice I can make that. So for me, it's a definite TRIED IT...HATEED IT...I wont personally order from here. The fiance tried his first meal and it was chicken of some sort and said it was chewy as well. Got my meals yesterday. Working through them. Will post what I like versus what you shouldn't get. First note: all the sleeves cooking times are the same on every meal. They all say 2-3 minutes in the microwave. Probably not a good idea to put the protein brownies in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Second, chicken quesadilla, you need to take the sour cream pack out of the meal as it will explode. Meatloaf was good Chicken quesadilla was good Brisket, not so hot. Like chip meat. Think buddig lunch meat formed into a brisket like presentation. Corn and beans weird combination. I don't recommend this one. Protein brownies. Blah, just blah. I'll modify as I work my way through the rest of the meals. Doing a quick edit of the review. Ended to add this so you know what you're getting into. I'm not sure if they're adding filler to the meals but every time I have one of their meals I get stinky gas. If you've ever been to Vegas and eat at the buffets you'll end up with buffet butt. I'm sure many of you'll be able to relate the sulphuric gas you get when in your in Vegas and eat at the buffets. You'll get the same stinky gas with these meals. Meaning they're adding filler to the protein of the meals to cut costs. And your internal digestive tract will respond with stomach cramps and stinky ass. I won't buy again. They're always thing wrong when you eat allegedly healthy food and you get bad gas and stomach cramps. It took sometime to figure out why my stomach was so upset. But I found the root cause, it was these over priced frozen meals. Just cook for yourself. Horrible shipping. Dry ice thrown in two cardboard boxes completely melted and all but destroyed the boxes so they didn't protect my meals. Threw away two that were obviously broke straight from the box. Now when I remove the sleeve to microwave I find more busted open and ruined. read more

I'm very sorry to say that the food I tried from this company was pretty bad. I love the idea, but the execution is just not good. I actually could only get halfway through the steak, brown rice and broccoli meal I tried to have for lunch yesterday. The steak was awful quality. Really terrible. And the broccoli smelled horrible, as though it was long passed it's expiration date. I loved the idea of this food service, but I will be throwing out the remaining meals that I ordered. read more

I gave The fue a second chance and try have done a great job staying on schedule, accommodating requests and have significantly improved their customer service!! The food is constantly good! I was really disappointed with this. I ordered it for my boyfriend and the meals took longer than the package to heat up, the meals were blank and unappetizing. Chunks of chicken weren't very appealing and there was very little seasoning. The box was also always late for delivery (by at least 1-2 days). I don't understand how a company can charge over $40 shipping on top of the meals. I've switched to a company that is incredibly more affordable, same macros and $14 shipping. I love the Fuel meal prep. My meals are delicious and delivered to my work every Tuesday at 6pm. I don't have to grocery shop, cook or clean and the best part about The Fuel MP is that all my meals are portioned. You can order both male and female portions right off their website. They have a great variety to choose from that changes every week. The food is so delicious, I could eat the same thing over and over every day if I had to. I wish i had an option to give them zero star . This is the worst customer service i have ever seen !! They never answer your call and they don't answer the email too . They answer just when they feel like it . I have ordered some food on friday july 13th which i supposed to receive it on tuseday july 17th . I did not received anything when i have contact them several times after 2 days they respond and they said my order was placed after midnight which i had confirmation email on friday at 7pm . Not sure how 7pm could be after midnight !!! It did not end here !! Today morning july 27th i woke up and i saw they charged my credit card again . I called them and emailed them from 8am finally i could able to talk to them at 12pm which they said they cant cancel the order since i subscribe to their website !!!( which i never did ) so because of that they will keep charging my credit card and keep sending me foods .. !!! When i asked to cancel the order they said they cant !!! So i had to call my credit cart and file it as a fraud and stopped the payment !!! The food isn't bad, but you can't rely on them to actually deliver your order. They will also promise you a special request, like substituting quinoa for brown rice, but still deliver what they want (brown rice). I've given them 4 chances to make it right, but they just can't seem to do so. They will only sporadically return phone calls and texts. So, I asked to speak with the owner (via phone call and email), but she also never responded. I finally refused my last order because I'm tired of not getting what I want. Since they don't return calls, I'm having to dispute the credit card charge to get my money back. Also, with only once per week delivery, the food starts to get smelly and slimy by day 5. I ordered so much from this company because it was truly tasty and was helping me maintain my weight, do not try the Keto you'll literally get a slice of the worse cheapest cheese they could purchase. Let me just start by saying that this company has officially become the worst consumer experience I have ever had in my life, and I've had some bad ones. If you are even considering using this company then consider yourself warned. I honestly can not even believe companies like this even exist. Allow me to describe my experience in detail... First off, I was signed up for a six week fitness challenge from a well established gym franchise called The Camp and I had $500 on the line. Their services were being promoted through this franchise and they were familiar with all of the requirements. So, I paid in advance for a full six week meal plan. I got my food delivered the first and the second week. Come week three, OOPS, apparently they "messed up" and forgot to send out my meals out. So I'm thinkin, no big deal, they'll probably just deliver the meals later or tomorrow... NOPE!! They "can't" and so I'll just have to wait until THE NEXT WEEK to get my meals again!!! So my week was completely screwed, I had already spent my money that was budgeted towards food so guess what money I got to spent that week, my fun money... THANKS!! How about someone gets their lazy ass in the kitchen and gets their customers what they paid for! The best was the delivery driver... He couldn't care less and just blamed someone else. Apparently the delivery drivers take no responsibility to ensure they are actually prepared for their routs. So the company promised to add on an extra week which now carried my service dates out to two weeks after my challenge ended. So week 4 comes around and I get my food. Then week 5 comes... OOOPPS!!! WE FORGOT AGAIN!!! Dumb driver points the blame again and I have to go through the same crap all over, another added free week and they can't get my food until the following week of deliveries. This happened 4 more times! Each time it happened I had to jump hurdles to try and fix the situation and all they did was make excuses and blame someone else and say sorry... Well, It got worse. Towards the end the company forgot again... So they said they would get my meals the next day! Wow, I thought, why couldn't they do that before??? Well the next day I got my meals... Apparently they thought it would be a good idea to just grab whatever was left in the kitchen and send it over. They actually delivered meals prepared for women and simply blacked out where it said "women portions" and thought I wouldn't notice. They sent an entire smodge podge of crap meals to me that had absolutely NOTHING to do with me and my fitness goals. I actually started to weigh the portions as they were suppose to be 8oz of meat and NOT A SINGLE meal was ever over 7oz and over half of them were only around 5oz... UNBELIEVABLE!! This company is a total scam. The ingredients SUCK, the portions are not as advertised, they will lie, make excuses, forget deliveries, rip you off and never take responsibility for any of it. Needless to say, I didn't reach my fitness goals. I want my $960 something dollars back for not getting me what I paid for and my $500 dollars back for not making my fitness goals and losing the challenge. This company SUCKS!!! read more

Very disappointed with this company and a lot of the reviews that I read were the same issue that I had. They charged me on Meals that I did not order, in fact 3 orders that total $300.00. I would call and leave messages no one would ever call back. I sent emails with no response. After numerous calls I finally did speak to a person, who in fact was the owner, I explained the situation , she apologized and stated she would be more than happy to resolve the problem and even give me a discount on my next order and get back to me. After that one initial call when I spoke to her she never called me back, never gave me an update and never took care of the problem. I finally had to go through my credit card services and it was handled through my credit card services. Once my credit card services sent them notification in regards to the dispute I did receive an email from the owner stating to contact her so she could resolve the problem with me. I sent her an email giving her my contact information and she never responded to my email and never called me back. In my opinion this is terrible terrible customer service. Not happy. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! I signed up for their weekly meal plan subscription and the first order arrived luke warm, even though they had overnighted it and charged me nearly $50 for shipping. I put them in the fridge and hoped they hadn't been too warm for too long but all the vegetables in the meals were sour and the meat tasted bitter. They charged me just 3 days later for a second order, and when I asked about why they were charging me so soon they responded telling me that they had changed their weekly order timing. This time they sent it using 2nd day delivery but still charged me the $50 shipping they had charged the first time for overnight. When the second order arrived, it was again luke warm and unedible, and I was charged AGAIN for another order the same day this order arrived. So I was charged x3 times in just 10 days!!! I emailed them again and asked that they refund me for both orders and cancel the subscription. They only refunded me for 1 order and sent me another order of meals...that again arrived luke warm and went straight in the trash! read more
