Upon arriving to the website, which was very professional looking and user friendly, and having taken a good 10-15 minutes browsing the site and FAQs, I made my selection of 10 meals. I tried using the promo code I received to later on find out (on my own) it only works if you use it on a Sunday; I placed my order on a Wednesday. The delivery was fast and I was promptly notified via text when it arrived. The following are my true and honest opinions about each of the "This Week's Menu" items I received: -Chile Colorado: very tasty dish. The corn was roasted to perfection and you could taste it. The carne asada was tender and the colorado sauce was poured on top of it (the portion of sauce was just right for all of the meat). The rice was uncooked and had orange color but no flavor, I did not eat it (rice was still crunchy raw). Aside from the rice, this dish was very good. -Party Meatballs: this one was my least favorite. The meatballs had a rubbery texture to them that made you over chew on them. The chili sauce was literally ketchup on meatballs. By the name "Chilli sauce glaze" I thought it would be spicy but deceivingly it was sweeter than a bbq sauce, it tasted just like a ketchup syrup. The zucchini was cooked just right, still crispy and the rice was simple you could not taste the garlic butter. -Comfort Chicken: This dish was hearty and wholesome. The green beans were crunchy and fresh. The chicken breast was juicy and the mashed potatoes tasted like real homemade mashed potatoes (not instant box). The gravy was mediocre (didn't really taste like anything). The onions and chives definitely gave this dish flavor. -Pasta alla vodka: Flavor was ordinary. The pasta was al dente. I would recommend you add a choice of protein to have a full balanced meal and ask on the notes if they can add more spinach as there was only garnish amount of it (all of this might incur an extra charge). -Italian Tilapia: this is very suitable for dinner with a glass of wine. The tilapia was tender. The carrots were cooked to the proper texture (a little crisp). Orzo pasta was good. I changed the italian dressing for a homemade dressing. Overall, good entrée.
